I got these shoes because past reviewers complained that they were too wide. So I thought yes! that's what I need. Indeed, they are a little too wide, but that's what I look for in my shoes these days. My only complaint is that the arch support is too high and it feels out of place, I feel it almost towards my heel. So I had to put in special soles so that the arch doesn't bother me. But the shoes are soft, light, warm, and with the extra and proper soles, I love them.

This shoe was so very comfortable. I can see why other reviews stated that it was wearable right out of the box. I was looking for a boot that would stand up to winter weather and this one will not. The leather is very thin and It's almost like wearing a sock slipper.

Very happy with this shoe - it's softer and a little more suede like than the fabric I was expecting. Comfort is tops and can be worn in my case comfortably with both thin and medium socks. A little roomier (won't say wider) than expected which worked out fine. One note: the color I saw looked deep olive - color is actually more of a greenish olive on the brighter side. Works well with jeans & leggings, easy on and off and support is acceptable. No difficulty adjusting to shoe's support as others have mentioned. Good from get go.

These boots look cute on and are pretty comfortable. My only complaint with both pair is that the arch support is kind of weird. I think it's a little off for my foot and so high it feels like a bump. When I first put them on its very obvious, although I think I can get used to it so I'm keeping them.

Like the boot for what it is, "comfortable like an old slipper". I must be between a 37 and a 38 because the 37 was slightly short and tight, the 38 needs a big sock to fill it in but I'll keep it because it's for sloppy winters to walk the dog, not to be beautiful in! I'm a size 7 in most shoes, 6.5 if open toe, occasionally if shoes run small like Puma I take a 7.5..

Second pair of these boots. Bought the first pair in a shoe store 5 years ago, it was time to replace! Considering I have difficult feet to fit, I am thrilled I could order these online and they fit. I had forgotten how strong the arch support is and my legs are tired and sore after wearing them for an hour. The first pair was like that too, so not worried about it. Happy with this purchase, saves mask wearing and disinfecting after....

Like all of my Arcopedico shoes, these boots have good arch support and great comfort!

Okay, these are NOT suede but suede-like fabric. I bought them for winter boots and they are so comfortable so I will keep them. However, I live in the South and these will work for most winter weather. I wouldn't recommend them for serious winter weather. I don't know if they are waterproof, but they are washable. I have narrow feet and these are perfect. There is some amazing arch support. I think they are super comfortable and I will wear them a lot, but I'll stick with my hiking boots for real snow and ice.

These are great! I normally don’t do reviews but these are worth reviewing. I have an infected bunion and have been wearing a shoe/boot thing from my doctor. These boots are super comfortable, feel like slippers, and are the only thing next to the shoe/boot thing that will accommodate my bunion. Plus the style is really cute.

This shoe was comfy right out of the box but unfortunately the top part was slouchy and I was not particularly looking for a slouchy style boot.

I have had a pair of these for several years in brown and they are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. I wanted a pair in black and ordered the same size (39) and when I tried them on they were too small. I ordered the next size up and they were too large. Maybe I’m now in between sizes?

These have a slight heel, which means I cannot wear them all day. Cute, but can't keep.

I’m a size 6 so maybe a 36 is a little too roomy, but the boot is very comfortable with socks, is light weight and a wonderful arch support. I had questions about shipping and phoned in for help, and the agent was more than helpful completing the sale for me.

I like the material, just felt like the arch wasn't high enough or forward enough for my foot.

These fit your foot like a glove, there is excellent arch support for someone with high arches and I love that, in this shoe, the support is on both sides of your heel and arch, it really makes you feel supported. I sent these back though, because there was very little cushion under the ball of my foot and I need a little bit there as well.

Great shoe, but didn't work for me. I have a wide front foot and narrow heel; my feet are thin, bony, high arched, but spread very wide. This shoe was very comfortable and had good arch support, and fit perfectly in the forefoot. The material was soft and gave-no bunion points or arthritis spots felt uncomfortable. However, in both the 38 and 39, me, unfortunately. The style was simple and classic and could be dressed up or down. I feel this might work best if your foot all the way through to the heel and ankle is wide, or maybe if your ankle to lower calf is large enough to hold down your ankle. Try it, though-with free returns, what do you have to lose, and if it works for you, you've found something great! Back to my search...

The length was fine but these were tight around the arch part of my foot making my foot throb pretty quickly.

I really wanted to love these booties. I think they would be so good for the right person. I needed more support for heavy duty walking outdoors. They honestly feel more like comfortable slippers. Im sorry to have to return them.

Very roomy! I can’t even feel the shoe around my toes. I thought maybe I should size down but decided I like it! Not the kind of bootie that is sexy, but my feet are thanking me for the comfort factor.

I wear anywhere between 8-9 and usually a wide in width, (thanks Mom) and bunion afflictions (thanks Dad). Also have history of plantar fasciitis and "fallen arches" (40+ years of nursing) so finding comfortable yet stylish footwear continues to be a challenge! These boots are comfortable and waterproof! to boot(no pun intended). I'm returning because I just didn't feel the support in the front part of the boot sole that I need for travel on the cobblestone streets of Europe. Also lacking the style I was hoping for. But you may like them. Wish I did!!

I order this L19 and L8, both in black, at the same time. I found the L19 to be very comfortable; however, it was slightly too wide in the toe. These will be returned. I'm keeping the L8 because it fit perfectly. I love being able to throw in washer, that's a bonus!

These boots are lightweight and comfortable. I wear a size 8 and need to return them because you can only buy them in size 8-8.5 or 7-7.5. They were too big for me but I was impressed with the arch support. Just too much room to slide around in the toe area. Color was nice and subdued for a bronze color.

These are attractive boots that feel like slippers. HOWEVER, the arch support is very high and I am trying to figure out a work around that. Wearing them for a short time has resulted in aching arches and a knee issue. They are terribly cute and they feel like slippers - but I Do wish that the company would adjust the arch support as that is a complaint on a significant number of reviews. (I'd also like to say that Zappos Rocks and their customer service is terrific.)

I would have loved these boots had the "pair" fit. Left shoe feels great and the right one is all stretched out! Actually longer than expected after going over reviews. Definitely not too narrow...I have wide feet. I will order again in same size to see if all turns out well. I also expected more arch support. I have always assumed that I had high arches but multiple podiatrists have informed me that I have a mid arch. I am a non sock wearer that usually fits 7-71/2.

I wanted these to fit but they did not. I have a narrow heel and wear 8-8.5. I think I got the right size but they were baggy and looked funny.
