Once again, Zappos' rules! I ordered these wonderful boots yesterday and they arrived on my doorstep today! These are the boots of my dreams...like butter with arch support in a simple, classic style. I have very particular feet and almost exclusively wear Birkenstocks to pamper them. These Arcopedico are equal to Birk's in comfort. They are lightweight enough to be dance shoes. The fabric is forgiving, and the boot hugs the foot like your favorite socks. Just perfect for a mild southern winter. I wear a 39 in Birks and the 39 Arcopedicos fit perfectly. Plus, they are animal friendly, machine washable and cute! What's not to love about this great boot? An investment in good footwear is always justifiable! Treat your feet!

Great comfortable booties that can go for a walk right away. I especially like the ability to wash these and air dry them. Have not worn them enough to get it dirty, but I will! Lock forward to traveling and doing lots of walking.

OMG - BRILLIANT! I can't get over how these shoes could be so lightweight yet warm, water resistant, easy to get on and off...they're genuinely comfortable. I wore them non-stop for 4 days so far. I hope they hold up a long time!

I love love love these (shoes) booties. They are the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. I got them to wear to an event where I expected to walk along a boardwalk. Since, I have worn them whenever I am going to be walking a lot. They are so comfy, that I still plan to wear them in the warmer months. They are not leather, but some kind of fabric, so not too hot. I got the brown, and plan on getting them in other colors as well. Would be nice if they were on sale though.

These boots are so lightweight. If you want the look of a sturdy leather boot, these boots are not for you. I wore them in NYC in early March, and they were comfortable to wear. There was no rain or snow so I cannot speak to their water repellancy. I kept the boot, even though they appear flimsy, because they were a perfect black boot for this minimalist traveler.

Toe is rounded and not squared like shown, cheap looking and will be returning them. They are comfortable and true to size.

These have become my go-to winter boots, perfect with all kinds of slacks, jeans and leggings. Super comfortable, even on long walks.

I haven't wanted to wear anything else since I got these two months ago. They are unbelievably comfortable and always look good, plus you can wash them, very cool!

These are unbelievably comfortable and soft. They feel like slippers and I do not want to take them off. I have yet to test them in snow, but they stand up to rain.

Beautiful looking, super comfortable. I suppose if you look very closely, they do not look like real suede, but who can look at them that closely, when they are on the ground most of the time? The size seems correct to me. They may be a tiny bit larger than some other shoes of this size, but not enough to be a problem.

So happy I found these boots. Super comfortable, stylish, lightweight,look great under jeans, they allow your feet to breathe, and are waterproof to boot! Got them in two colors and they're becoming indispensable.

I cannot wear any other shoes except these due to bunions. Everything else hurts or feels too narrow. If you have somewhat wide feet or problem feet, these are a must. And they are stylish. I am not sure why people have trouble with the arch, I find it perfect. I have five pairs of Arcopedico boots, three low boots two above the calf. They last forever too. If not for these I would have to rush in for bunion surgery.

These boots have the most heavenly arch support, they are so comfortable! Every step is a delight. They're also super light-weight, so I think they'll be perfect for traveling. The style is simple, but cool...kind of Scandinavian. Since the ankle is narrow, I think they'll work well paired with tights. They also look super cute when paired with some rolled-up skinny jeans. The material is very flexible. Also I thought they ran about a half-size too big, since I'm almost always a 38 but I had to send my first pair back and get a 37.

You can't get more comfortable than this boot. It fits like a second skin, yet looks totally snazzy. Very European in design. Good support for walking. Can definitely wear it without socks, if desired. Perfect.

Like wearing slippers outdoors! These are my new favorite shoes. They are super-soft, light, and look great without sacrificing any comfort. Even though I usually buy a wide shoe, the regular with fit me just fine. The top of the boot doesn't chafe, and the soft fake-suede conforms to your foot nicely. Bought both black and brown because I love them so much.

I bought these shoes on impulse. I walked into a shoe store in Berkeley, CA and walked out with these boots. Once I tried them on, I was sold. I liked them so much I bought another pair in a different color online from the Arcopedico website. They instantly fit my feet perfectly. I especially love the flexibility of the sole which makes walking so much easier. They look nicely tapered in the toe, and yet have lots of give for my wide instep. I wear them every day. They are a perfect pant shoe for cooler weather.

These are very unique and the other reviews were spot on. They are lightweight and comfortable but have a strange high arch that isn't uncomfortable, just different. I can wear them with athletic socks or dress socks and they make my huge (11), wide feet look smaller.

They fit well, are comfortable, and give my feet the support they need. I also think they look great.

I'm in love with this shoe. I have been looking for a comfortable boot that has good arch support without being too stiff on the ankle. This fills the bill. Hoping it will be warm and water resistant enough to make it thorugh the winter.

These are surprisingly light as a feather. The upper is synthetic and almost fabric-like, so it feels more like neoprene or wearing a sock. They are incredibly comfortable and I like that this is a short boot that doesn't just cut straight across. The top edge and pleating create nice lines and interest, and it's a boot that will look great with tights and a dress/skirt, or with pants/leggings. Love 'em.

The softness of the fabric did not give me enough support. I have balance issues. Otherwise it was very lovely and comfortable.
