A very soft shoe, but if you have a high instep (like I do), these might not be the shoe for you. There is an adjustable toggle at the front of the shoe, but there is really no way to make it looser. Cute and comfy otherwise, but won't work for me.

This was my first Arcopedico purchase. I was happy to finally find a ballet flat that didn't cut across my bunions. However, the sole of the shoe doesn't seem like it's sturdily attached to the upper. It's hard to explain, but it's almost like it slides too much and would not be great for walking around very far. Another reviewer mentioned that she thought her toenail would wear through the front and I understand why. I will keep searching.

Sad to send it back. Love the arch support and look, but my narrow heel keeps slipping out when I walk regardless of how tight I pull the strap.

I've been looking for good looking shoe that was easy on my bunions. The size 39 was too short in length, so I ordered a 40. This fit perfectly, except after wearing them for a short while, the stretchy fabric put too much pressure on my foot, and made them throb. Returning both sizes.

These are very new and haven't been used much, that said..they do not put pressure on my bunion or hammertoe. But they are cut high in the back and rub my upper heal and so I will need protection there until I have gotten them worn in.

These shoes are surprisingly attractive and comfortable for my bunions. The removable insole is a nice plus, and my dress orthotics fit fine. I usually wear 8.5 M or W, and the 39 felt fine except it was a little short and not comfortable for my toes. I ordered the next size up.

I normally wear a 9B or 9.5B and ordered a 40 in this shoe. The length and width are fine, but around the back of the heel it fits a little loose. I know it's not going to get any more snug with wear, so alas, I'm sending them back but with regret. They feel like a cloud - lots of cushion and great arch support for my poor plantar fasciitis, and the upper is incredibly soft and comfortable. Hate, hate, hate to send them back.

It's a nice shoe and even more attractive in person. But I have to wear thick custom orthotics that make my foot sit higher, plus I have a narrow heel. So the shoes kept sliding off my heels, even when I adjusted the elastic with its ingenious locking mechanism. Sadly, I must return them.

These run small and the upper is fabric so the big toe would wear through quickly. I ordered the cherry colored version because I thought the others had overly decorative fabric for such a casual shoe. Doesn't make sense to me stylistically. I returned them because the fit was wrong and the style was not flattering for my body type.

Short sizing - Great casual run around shoe but runs short. A little more stylish than their tie shoe...with great arch support. Don't understand why Arcopedico does not offer this in 43 as other styles are? Would buy more if offered!

I really wanted to love these. I ordered the L14 and L15D. They look almost exactly the same, but fit completely differently. The L14 felt true to size in length, but the heel slipped, even if I tried to tighten the drawstring, and I was worried it would rub and cause a blister (I couldn't tell if the drawstring is purely decorative, as it didn't seem to be functional). So, I would not recommend if you have a narrow heel. The L15D was very short, so I had to order a size up. But the heel was too tight and rubbed.

These shoes are pretty and made well. They feel so good on. I have to return them because the sole is too flexible in the forefoot area causing me great pain to walk with my fixed stiff toes. If you have bunions, these shoes are wonderful because of the soft top.

I tried these in 2 different sizes -- my regular size, and a half size larger, but my toe still hit the end of the shoe, so I sent them both back. The arch support hit my foot in an odd place -- I wasn't sure if it would support me, or cause more problems. The good news? They didn't bother my bunions at all!

Cute enough, and the arch support is a bit better than "medium." But I'm a size 9 without socks almost without exception. The size 9 is a half size too small at least. I'm going to give it another try.

These are pretty comfortable -- much more support than typical flats. You can adjust the fit by "simply pulling" up the elastic around the shoe -- as described in the video. In reality, I doubt that anyone wants that elastic and button sticking an inch in the air over their foot, and I did need to make the, a bit tighter, so I pulled up the elastic, cut it, and sewed it back together so it would lie flat.

As many have mentioned, this shoe is very comfortable. I have bone spurs on my big toe joint and it's hard to find comfortable shoes. These are cute and have just a little heel. I'd buy again.

So disappointed! I take a size 10.5 - 11, I order a 42 and they were too small. Amazing arch support, great style, but unfortunately I will have to return them.

I love the look of the shoes, but even though I can wear a 6½ to 7½ depending on the type of shoes, the 38 was too big even with socks, and the 37 was too tight with socks. I am disappointed.

Really good looking shoe and very cushiony...would be great for walking while on vacation; however, it ran short. Back it goes!

If you have bunions, this is a super comfy shoe for you! I have ordered numerous shoes online and have had to return most of them because they cut right across my bunions and hurt my feet. These shoes, on the other hand, are incredibly comfortable from the moment you put them on! The upper fabric stretches and molds over your feet (including bunions). The arch support is perfect, feels like I'm walking on a cloud. I followed the size chart and feel it is accurate. I usually wear an 8 and ordered a size 39, it is a tiny bit long on the left foot, but a 38 would have been too short. It is a very cute, but casual shoe, so I would not recommend it if you want a dressy shoe. I'm planning on wearing them to work with slacks. I am very happy with the style and quality of this shoe and the service from Zappos!

Very comfortable shoes, just a little too slipper-looking for me. The arch support is very good but it hit my foot in the wrong place.

When I initially put these on, I thought my search for the perfect shoe had come to an end. Aside from my Orthaheel house slippers I've never experienced such firm arch support and the soft material the shoe is made of is very comfortable and easy on my bunions. Alas, though, it was not to be. As soon as I started walking around, my foot kept slipping right out of the shoe. There is a handy elastic that allows you to tighten the fabric to fit your foot, but no amount of tightening kept my foot in the shoe. I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to traveling to Europe in comfort with these shoes. I went on to try a few other Arcopedico shoes, but the arch of their other shoes is not properly aligned with the arch of my foot, so they did not provide as much support. I guess I'll keep looking...

Cute shoes, but the color, black was actually dark brown. and they ran a little small. Exchanging for correct size and color.

These are really cute and it's great to know they're vegan. The fabric is amazingly sturdy and still gives just a bit. The arch support is very strong, but I added a pad under the ball of my foot.

I bought a pair of Arcopedicos in Barcelona a year ago, the style w/ the strap across the instep. I found them more comfortable than this pair.
