Arch support is weird on this shoe. It felt like it did not conform to my feet. Very stiff. Very disappointed. I will try Dansko next.

These shoes are a complete mess. I purchased a pair of the oiled red Sanitas 4 years ago and they have been the best shoe I own. They are comfortable and go with everything and I have completely worn them in; they fit like slippers. I wanted another pair in black, but these are no longer the same shoe and what they are making now is a disaster. I have ordered and returned 3 pairs and I give up. The sides are stapled instead of glued. The finish is inconsistent (some more oily, some dull). They are completely inconsistent with sizing. I wear a 37, but almost all the pairs were different. Some fit my right but not my left, some I couldn't even pull onto my foot because they were so small.

I\'m an ER doctor and use clogs every day. I bought these instead of my ususal Danskos due to the good reviews. Don\'t waste your money. They do not hold up well to admittedly tough use. They are not as comfortable and the reddish patina will wear off leaving an ugly brown color with every scuff.

Wish I had something good to say, I was so excited to receive my shoe, my first order from Zappos. I did not have luck with these shoes. The left shoe in the 5.5-6 was larger than the right shoe and they felt very roomy, so I called to ask Zappos about this and they sent me the smaller size 4.5-5 which was too small on the left shoe and perfect on the right shoe. I heard so many good reviews that it was as if I was going to make this shoe work no matter what, but that did not happen. I kept the 5.5-6 and tried inserting pads, etc. and the shoe was just too big and too heavy for my foot and ankle. I started to get a blister did not want to deal with it anymore so I will add these shoes to my Salvation Army pile. That was my unfortunate adventure with this shoe; they were not made right, neither size. I wore them to work and my co-worker tried them on so it was not my feet; she is a size 6.5-7 and she could tell the left shoe was larger. I am disappointed but it was my choice to try to make the shoe work so I learn that it should fit right from the beginning and that shoes can have flaws.
