I ordered this shoe because I needed a true size 11 and none of the women's shoes from Sanita fit. Unfortunately, while they were long enough, they were far too wide and the shoe looked really big and blocky on my foot.

I was excited to get these shoes when they arrived yesterday. I couldn't believe how fast they arrived at my house. They look exactly like the picture and were well made. However for my type of foot, I found their heel's back to be shorter than I expected and a bit smaller in width. The width would probably stretch more in time and wear, but I decided to return them anyway.

To be honest, I can't tell and don't know the difference between the Sanita version and the Dansko version, but I ended up sticking with the Danskos. I normally wear a 7 1/2, and ended up getting the 39 in these, mostly because the the ridge on my left foot seems to be a bit high (something I've never noticed in other shoes).

Better fit than Dansko. Great go-to shoe. Not particularly stylish.

Although I like the style of the Sanita Cabrio, I find that the fit is loose on my size 10 foot even wearing a thicker sock.\r\n I wore them walking around Portland and other than the loose fit they were still comfortable.

What a pleasant surprise I had when wearing this shoe for the first time. I have very flat feet which causes a lot of discomfort, not only to my feet, but to my back, as well. The structure and support of this shoe has really helped to alleviate this problem. I would recommend this shoe and plan to purchase another pair.

I finally wore out my last pair of Zeeta clogs (they went out of business) and I had to find another clog as I wear them nearly every day in the winter. \r\n\r\nAfter reading the descriptions online I ordered two brands, Sanita and the equivalent Dansko clog - both 37 for my size 6.5 medium width feet. They both were a true 37 for fit, but the Sanita\'s were a little narrower, tighter heel and less clunky than the Danskos. The arch support was much better in the Sanitas. The soles seemed very similar. Overall the Sanitas were just a little more trim looking. \r\n\r\nAlthough nothing will touch my Zeeta\'s (sniff) the Sanitas are nice as I transition into a regular clog shoe.

These really are the most comfortable shoes ever. I have been wearing a pair of brown oiled leather slip-on Dansko clogs for about 5 years and absolutely love them! I have walked all over in them and they are still in great shape, but I wanted something slightly dressier. So, I recently purchased the Sanita Professional Cabrio in black (I went with Sanita based on the reviews and they do, in fact, have the same patent number on the bottom as my old Danskos). I typically wear a 7.5, so I went with the 38 and they fit exactly like they are supposed to (i.e., slightly snug when you put your foot in, but your heel should slip when you walk). These clogs are kind of narrow, so they may not work if your feet are especially wide. The only less-than-glowing thing I can report is that I was slightly disappointed in the finish work; the edging was trimmed sloppily and there were stray threads that needed to be snipped off. Since the shoes are so comfortable, and my old pair has been so durable, I forgive Sanita and highly recommend any of their clogs.

The Sanita clog is comfortable. The B width is a touch narrow for my slightly wider foot. A wider width was not available in my size. The heel is made to \'slip\' as I walk which I\'m used to from the old style Danskos. I don\'t like how some of my pants get stuck in the heel, but that has nothing to do with how the shoe fits. The shoe feels and looks well made.

Sanita vs Dansko - Based on the reviews, I decided to order these, as well as the Danskos in the same size. I was expecting to prefer the Sanitas (again, based on other reviews). But the Sanitas felt tighter, one of my heels rubbed against the back as it came down with each step, and I knew that would be causing me some serious blisters. Also, there was something inside the other shoe that was rubbing against my instep. It felt like an exposed seam, but upon casual inspection I found nothing. Meanwhile, the Danskos were problem free, so I kept them. I gave them low marks for looks only because, well, the "Professional" isn't the most beautiful style in the world, though they are the most comfortable! Good luck.

Work shoes - I tried a smaller size initially but ended up getting the 39 which is a little too large for me. I have tried adding gel inserts since these shoes hurt my feet (I'm on my feet for about 12 hours a day at work) but I haven't seen any great improvement. Maybe they just need some more breaking in.

Color was nice...ordered the blue one and it seemed black until the light hit it (but not at all shiny like in the picture). Nice color if you're tired of a boring black clog in the hospital. Unfortunately I ordered these a half size up and they were still too narrow. I may try another size up but will likely just look for a wide style instead. Seemed nice and sturdy. Good traction.

Quite comfortable but very heavy. I was hoping for a clog that was lighter than the ones I had, but these were not.

I've been wearing Danskos for years but thought I would give these a try. I ordered the same size I wear in Danskos, and these felt much smaller. I think I would have ended up with blisters if I had worn them for any length of time.

After wearing these shoes for only a month they look like they've been worn for many years. The finish is horrible. They were scuffed and dull after just one day! My first review of this product was much better. Of course that was right after I put them on my feet. I love how they fit. I work in an OR and my feet never hurt anymore, but I am so disappointed in how they look. I spent a lot of money on them, so buying another pair any time soon is out of the question. These shoes are too expensive to end up looking like total crap after only one month of wear.

I bought these shoes to compare them to my Dansko professionals. I just started wearing my Danskos and noted the fit was a little off. I read some reviews about Sanitas and how they are more comfortable and need no "break in" time. First off I want to say, that these are made in Europe and Danskos are made in China. So what? I actually think that the Danskos "craftsmanship" looks more clean and consistent than the Sanitas. Just because something is made in China, does not mean it is poorly made. Second, the fit of the Sanitas were loose. Not length wise, but width wise. I could do a little kick with my foot and the shoe would fly off. Many say that these run smaller than Danskos, but this was not the case for this pair. I purchased both a 36 in these and the Danskos. The thing I do like about this clog is that the arch does not seem as high as the Danskos. When I put the Danskos on the arches hurt the bottom of my feet. I have flat feet, not sure if the high arch is good for my feet or bad? But I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will "break in". So I will probably be sending the Sanitas back just because they are a little loose. Wish they fit a tad more snug. Because I'd keep them.

I am sending back the 38's. The right shoe is narrower than the left, both visually and wearing wise. I know they vary because they are handmade, but I do expect a pair to be the same size. The left shoe feels perfect, the right one is narrow and the back that wraps around my heel is shorter than the other one! I'll try ordering one more time...

I love these clogs! Unfortunately, size 41 was too small for my size 10 foot. Narrow as well through the middle of the foot and roomy at the heel.

I generally have loved Sanitas as they are narrower and more comfortable than Danskos in general...but these have such a shallow foot bed that I found them uncomfortable and returned them.

Don't know because incredibly small. I hear they stretch but I can't chance it. No idea how this could ease my bunions. Cute shoe, wish it fit.

I had my first pair for 3 years and loved them!!!! They helped with all sorts of foot problems. Bought a new pair several months ago but they just aren't the same; the fit is a little different, the arch placement seems different and they squeak internally. I've gone back to wearing the old pair

I bought the bordeau, which becomes a lot redder than the pictures. Seem to be comfortable, but only if you don't have wide feet. I used these for two weeks, and although from the first day the bottom of my feet weren't sore after being on my feet 12 hours a day, the sides of my feet and my toes were killing me! I got them stretched, which helped a lot, but now my toes and the side of my foot get jammed into the hard leather, leaving me with a compressed nerve along the sides of my feet. Also, wearing these shoes have made my ankles prone to rolling over when walking and turning too quickly.

I wore these for hospital shifts lasting 12-30 hours. I\'m on my feet the whole time. At first they were great. I wore them almost daily for several months until my left foot developed numbness in several toes and along the bottom of the foot. It was in the exact distribution of a particular nerve and I was very worried that it would be permanent! I switched shoes for the past 2 weeks and the numbness has improved. I still haven\'t found a really good shoe for long days.

These shoes are not true to size. I am a 9.5 regularly and ordered a size 40. They were too small and too narrow. Order one size up. Also, they felt different and not as comfortable on the foot as Danskos so I ordered a size 41 in the Dansko. Thankfully, Zappos is amazing and the return policy is easy.

I ordered these looking for a good winter walking shoe that was also good for rain because of the height of the shoe, but despite all the glowing reviews, I found myself really disappointed. Like another reviewer mentioned, I felt that the right shoe was somewhat smaller than the left, and maybe I'm just not used to clogs, but the incessant rubbing of the back of the shoe against the back of my heel as my foot slipped out of the clog with each step was maddening! I couldn't even walk around for 5 minutes in my own house because it became exponentially more painful with each step. I guess I just don't have the calluses built up on the back of my heel, and I wasn't wearing these with socks (I wanted a shoe I could wear with or without socks). These are too expensive to have given the performance that they did :( Plus, the support wasn't really that epic...The only good thing about this shoe was my experience with Zappos, which is always fantastic even when the shoe is unfortunate!
