I\'m in my late 40\'s and have just started a job at a nursing home where I\'m on my feet most of the day. Even some of my standard shoes were not as comforable as these. I like the color, it goes with lots of pants I wear and seem to hold up to the work place dress code. I have widish feet, and I don\'t do well with any kind of heel. I went large with these, I usually wear a 8.5 size but went with the 40 which is said to fit 9. Anyway, I can wear these every day, as they have become my comfort shoe.

I just bought my first pair of Sanita clogs and I love them. Some people think clogs are not stylish, but I think with casual clothes they're very stylish. Way more stylish than ugly Keen sandals or ugly sneaker/clogs. Perfect for Seattle weather; they're sturdy and give me a bit of clearance off the ground to avoid mud and rain. Extraordinarily comfortable. One note: the sizing conversions listed seem to be a touch off. I wear a US 12.5-13. According the sizing chart, I should order a 46, but I actually wear a 48, which Sanita lists as US 14.5-15! I definitely don't wear a 14.5-15! So I guess their conversion is off or these clogs run quite short.

This shoe equals love. I was not 100% satisfied with my last pair of Danskos, however I read about Sanitas being the original clog and decided to give them a try again. And I was so happy. It was not tight across the top of the foot and it did not squeak. I am so happy with this shoe. Yes, they are not the prettiest things, but if you are on your feet a lot you don't exactly care.

Over the moon to find these again! I bought a pair like these closed-in clogs 15 years ago at a clog store on a visit to Seattle. They are labeled as Dansko inside, but on the bottom of the clog is "Sanita". I always just thought they were Dansko and that Sanita was just the name of that style. I bought the brown and have loved them. As others have stated, they fit perfectly. Years later I wanted a black pair while at a trade show and bought Dansko brand at a dept. store. The toe box was tight and uncomfortable, but I dealt with it, thinking they would stretch with wear. I was never able to "break them in" and have continued to wear my brown ones until last winter, the heels finally gave out and are all but completely crumbled and falling off the left shoe! I was heart-broken. I just decided to try looking at other brands of clogs here on Zappos and the name "Sanita" hit me like a ton of bricks in a good way! I am Over The Moon to find out that "Sanita" is what I have been looking for all along, that I can still get high quality clogs and will have a New Pair of comfy clogs for this winter! Yea Zappos, Yea Sanita!

Sanita is the original maker of Dansko clogs. Dansko decided to have them made more cheaply elsewhere, so Sanita was on its own. The new Dansko version of these clogs is not as comfortable. I wear these clogs for everything except running. I am on my 7th pair, including the original Dansko, which was made by Sanita. To make them look good, you actually have to oil them, any oil will work; I use vaseline. If I am going to casual/dressy party, I make sure that they are oiled. I have a black pair that I even wear with my tuxedo. The clogs are very comfortable, and the back (heel) really makes a difference in comfort and wearability (vs. regular no-back clogs).

My first experience with this wonderful shoe was at least 10 years ago. I purchased the black oiled professional and also an oxblood brown. They were so comfortable I swear I could wear them to bed. I wore them every day...every day. But after 10 years they were wearing on the heel. I called the company in California to find out where the nearest store would be near my home. I was referred to Zappos. I am so impressed with this company and of course I again have a great shoe. Their customer service is the best I have found in years. Courteous, efficient and helpful. I am one pleased customer.

This clog fits snug and feels comfortable except for the arch support that feels like a large rock in the shoe.
