I normally wear a 9 and have a fairly wide forefoot. For these, the length of the 39 was good, but they were too tight. The 40 is perfect with thick socks. They are really comfortable, and pretty versatile, too, depending on your sense of style. I wear them just about everywhere.

As soon as I bought these, three of my friends followed. They look great and they're very comfortable. Before buying I compared with Dansko, Keen, and Birkenstock. I'm very happy with my purchase. I normally wear a 38 or 39. In these, the 39 feels great.

Dansko and Sanita are the best! I wear a 40 R in Birkenstock and 41's are the size I need in these clogs. The oil finish is casual and shows no scuffs.

Bought for girlfriend's birthday. She hasn't taken them off in a month. Awesome. Smart and cute looking shoes. Sanitas not made in China.

I've been wearing Dansko's for about 10 yrs or so and about 3 yrs ago they suddenly didn't fit right-would bind on tops wrong. I switched to Sanita and they are fantastic! They are comfortable right out of the box and break in beautifully. A nurses best friend to be sure standing on hard floors all day.

I've worn Dansko Professionals for years but I thought I'd give the Sanita a try. They fit very similar to the Danskos, but perhaps a teensy bit narrower. I also think the arch is much higher, but I was comparing to a well-worn pair of Danksos. Overall they look and feel very nice but time will tell if I like them as well as the Danskos.

As always, Zappos and Sanita have done it again! Ordered these at 10pm and they were on my doorstep by 10am the next morning! Amazing! Clogs fit perfectly! 5 stars once again!

Probably too much information, but my feet sweat. These shoes help with that tremendously. They're easy to get on and off and they're totally comfortable. One thing is they took me a while getting used to, especially for walking long distance. But they feel great on my feet. I like them a ton.

So, the Professional Oil has over 75 rave reviews already, does it need one more? Yes! I bought my first pair of Professionals (Cabrio Black) a year and a half ago and they're in perfect shape after almost daily wear. I needed a brown pair of shoes and thought to vary my style a bit but I needed the awesome support and comfort of my Cabrios because I work on my feet all day. I ordered five pairs of different styles between Keen, Sanita, and Dansko...and lo and behold, none of them were as comfy as my Cabs. I returned them all and ordered the Professional Oil in brown. They arrived the next day (thank you, Zappos!) and they're like buttah. No, not oily...smooth and easy! This is the only shoe that stays securely around my heel but doesn't rub my ankles raw (my foot issue, sigh). I love these shoes!

These shoes are very comfortable and I can wear them all day without feeling any foot pain. I stand all day teaching art and so all that I can wear are either Danskos or Sanitas. The only draw back is that the shoes are often not the same as far as width from one to the other (right to left) and you have to order more than one pair to get the perfect fit.

I love these clogs. I’m in the blood bank on my feet a lot and these are awesome. I’ve had them for a couple of weeks now. They fit my feet better than the Dansko clogs (which I wore previously). They are a little more narrow to me.

I'm finding the product, ordering it, and paying were painless; delivery was prompt. The shoes are precisely what i was looking for, and are just as Zappos represented them to be; they're real shows, and break-in took about one work week; they now feel pretty much like slippers; I work in retailing, on a concrete slab, and am on my feet there about 8 1/2 hours a day. I drive a five speed roadster, which means shifting frequently; five days a week, these clogs have lots of opportunity to make me wish I was barefoot at home, and they don't.

I just purchased my first pair of clogs (time to do away with the Havaianas). I normally where a size 8-8.5 so I ordered a 39 in the blueberry oil, so beautiful. Unfortunately, they were way too big. I understand that they are suppose to be roomy but this was too loosey-goosey for my comfort. I returned the 39 and shopped around at local stores to get the right size. Sorry Zappos. These shoes are hand-made and even shoes in the same size vary greatly in fit. I tried on multiple pairs and finally found a pair that was just right and they happened to be black and not blue. Oh well, fit is much more important than color. So try on multiple pairs of Sanitas until you find the right one. It's totally worth it!

At first I wasn\'t sure these shoes fit me because they felt loose. Then I realized, that is the way they are designed. They are clogs, essentially, and should feel loose in the back. The shoes stay on no problem, are very sturdy and are very comfortable. Well worth the investment as they will last a long time.

Wow, after a frustrating search, I finally was able to get the shoe I was looking for. I have been a long time Dansko wearer and needed a new pair of shoes for work (these are the best shoes if you need to be on your feet all day long). Went to the shoe store to pick up some Dansko's and suddenly the shoe wasn't comfortable anymore and I somehow wasn't a size 39 either. Well, after a whole lot of internet searching and review reading I realized that my love of the Dansko fit was actually a Sanita in disguise. This shoe is exactly the fit, weight, comfort, width, and quality (so far, but I have been wearing them daily to work for 1.5 months now) of the Dansko clogs of long ago. I will definitely be switching my shoe brand to Sanita, as the 'new' Dansko's are now outsourced to Asia, have a new fit that does NOT work with my foot, and are just not as quality as this brand seems to maintain. If you were a Dansko person in the past, or are just looking to find a casual-to-nice shoe for the office or just kicking around town I would highly recommend these shoes. And, as always, Zappos provides top-notch customer service and freakishly fast shipping.

I have purchased several pairs of Dansko shoes over the years and this is my first pair of Sanita. They are a little bit narrower and fit a little more snugly than the Dansko's. They fit my feet perfect with no break in time needed. And I'm not afraid to try shoes with Zappos great service! They make it hassle free.

I love my shoes! Third pair and they all last for years. Great for my back when I stand for a long time.

I finally replaced a pair of Sanitas that were five years old, and I wish I\'d done it sooner! I\'ve literally worn the first pair out. I bought them as a walking shoe and they remain my favorite. I wear an 8.5 normally, but with a very high instep I have a hard time fitting into shoes. My Sanitas are a 41, which is a bit bigger than recommended but they fit my instep perfectly, a little snug but still roomy in the heel. Next time I\'ll probably wait only 2 or 3 years before replacing them - I can definitely feel a difference in the new shoes, they\'re heaven!

There are no more comfortable shoes in the world. I\'d rather walk in these than my walking shoes. If you used to buy Dansko\'s these are the same.

Great shoe. A little narrower than the Dansko, but this was nice for me, since I have narrow feet.

Third time was a charm! Really wanted to be able to wear this type of shoe.The first time ordered Dansko and they were way too narrow. Then I ordered Keen in the same type of style, sent them back. After reading reviews (thank you) I found out that the Sanita fit wider! Bingo! I have already purchased a second pair and I love them already. I wear a 12 1/2 wide in womens, and a 11 1/2 to 12 in mens, Size 46 in this shoe fit me great.

This was the best money I have spent for work shoes! After talking with a few of my co-workers, I settled on the original Sanita! I ordered two sizes; 38 and 39 in the oiled black and another in 38 in oiled brown. My shoe size runs between a 7 to 7 1/2 so I took the advice to try both sizes. I settled on the 38, returned the 39. It took me a week to get used to the fit but glad that I took the time! I have a wide foot with a high arch and they fit snug in the toe/arch area at first, but now they feel wonderful!! Since they are hand made, there is slight irregularity with the sizing...just return them for a different size or pair to get the right fit. I also wear them with jeans/pants. I have worn Dansko for years. The Sanita is perfect. It seems slightly snugger than the Dansko, but in a good way. The support is excellent. I use these shoes for all day standing and walking. I pick one size smaller than my standard size as I don't like my feet to slide in the clog.

These shoes are so comfortable!! I've been wearing Danskos and thought these were the same thing. I'm not sure of the relationship but the Sanitas are a tad more comfortable. I have the Blueberry color and they go with everything! I will definitely be getting another pair for work and probably for home as well.

Zappos has saved the day! I recently learned that the original Dansko clogs I loved to their death (after 8 years of wear) were made by Sanita. I found them on Zappos for a decent price and ordered 2 pair. The other reviews are correct... they run a little small so I followed the lead of others and ordered a little bigger size. These clogs are awesome! Right out of the box they feel so comfortable and no problems with needing to break them in. I highly recommend these shoes and thank others for their honest reviews of this product. Thanks to Zappos for awesome customer service. Enjoy!
