I needed a replacement for my 10 year old Danskos. After some research, I found that Sanita was the manufacturer for those older Danskos, so I bought the Sanitas. Fit just like my old pair, which are comfortable from the start. I went with the brown this time just to make a change from the usual black. The Sanita Professional clog helps to keep my feet and back comfortable during long days in the hospital. From walking up and down stairs to standing for hours, these clogs keep you going! Sizing for these clogs tend to run a bit snug. I ordered the 46 (12.5-13) but had to return them and get the 47. Your heel should easily lift up from the clog while walking. If your heel is hitting the back part of the clog, it's too tight!

I love my shoes - so glad I went with the Sanita's. They are really comfy & broke in so much sooner than I expected. I have a wide foot and bunion, and could not be happier with the fit. If not sure, I say go for it!

I stepped into these clogs and as always a true fit, supportive and comfortable. Zappos is the best in selection and has outstanding customer service.

They just feel familiar. I wear a 9 1/2 in every shoe I own (except running 10) I even have a couple of 9's, but I need a 41 is these. I have rather narrow foot, medium arch.

My second pair of these clogs, and I love them. Lots of toe room. They last for years, and there\'s nothing better for walking on cobblestones and other uneven surfaces. I wear them whenever I travel so I can kick them off in the security line at the airport. Not beautiful but definitely comfortable and practical in every way.

I went ahead and tried the Sanita's, since my Dansko's finally gave out after 8 years. I'm not sure about what others have said as far as the new iteration of Dansko's not being as well made, but I can speak to how these are made. They are slightly narrower, although this didn't bother me, and I'm not someone who has a narrow foot. I got the same size (37) as I had in Dansko's and they were only slightly smaller. If you want to wear thick socks, though, definitely go up a half size if you're switching from Dansko's. The biggest problem I had with the Sanita was that the arch isn't as high. For people who don't have high arches, this shouldn't be a problem, but mine are very high and when I put on one of my old Dansko's next to the Sanita, I could feel that the arch of my foot barely touched in the Sanita and was supported and touching in the Dansko. Also, the blue oiled leather that I bought already had scuffs upon arriving and didn't look like the matte finish would hold up very long. The quality does seem good with these shoes, but unfortunately the changes they've made to distinguish themselves from Dansko's are too much for me to able to wear them.

Like them, but the sizing is way off. I wear a women's US 10, which is a 42 in all other European shoes I have worn. In these a 42 is listed as a women's 11.5- 12. I originally ordered these in the smaller size that says will fit a womens 10, but they didn't. I had to exchange them for the 42.

Not even close to the size listed. I couldn't get my foot into these, kind of defeating the purpose of easy on/off above all else.

She really likes the shoes. The left shoe fit perfect but the right shoe was a little tight. She had the right shoe stretched a little and now it's fine. She loves the arch support in the shoes and likes the style.

Gave these a whirl based on the wide fan base here in the medical profession (I’m a nurse who works 12 hour shifts). After a few shifts I’ve found that the balls of my feet start to get hot (read: blisters in the making), the heel is too high, and the sole is, well, way too hard. I’ve found Keens and Merrell to offer cheaper and more comfortable shoes.

I have worn the Dansko clogs for years and wear a size 36. I loved the blueberry color and was disappointed when Dansko no longer offered this color. I ordered the size 36 and 37 in the Sanita brand. Both sizes were too tight across the top of my foot and toes. Quality of finish on the inside of the shoe was poorer than the Dansko brand. Sanita needs to improve their quality and sizing.

These provide excellent support for people om their feet all day. They feel slightly narrower than Danskos.

I love these shoes! They felt somewhat stiff and strange at first, but weren't really uncomfortable, just took a little getting used to. I work 12 hr shifts a lot and don't think about my feet at all when I wear these. They give me a little height, which I like. I do like them a lot better than the Danskos I tried years ago and sent back. They don't look as boxy and don't make my feet look big. I've been wearing them almost every day and just ordered another pair in the cabrio.

I am a medical student and have tried so many different shoes (Merrells, etc). I was skeptical about buying these and considered this the last resort before going to a podiatrist. When I first wore them, I felt a difference. My feet did not hurt after standing in them for 4 straight hours. I have come to fall in love with these shoes, despite the fact that they aren't cute. I even wear them with my jeans and pretend to make a new fashion statement. I would definitely recommend them to others and Zappos shipped them really fast (3 days) so buy them!

I have had Dansko clogs for years and tried to find a 42 that fit me the same as my old ones. Apparently the shoe to shoe variation is really big now. I tried three different stores via mail order and none of the Danskos fit correctly. I tried Sanitas and found they have as much variation as the Dansko. I finally went through 10 pairs total before I found a pair of Sanitas from Zappos. The Sanitas feel very similar to my Danskos and hopefully they will be as durable.

I ordered my Sanita Clogs online on sale with no shipping charges. They are very stylish and comfortable. I never bought shoes online before and this was my first experience with Zappos. They had my size in stock and shipped promptly. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Zappos is fantastic! I ordered the shoes and had them in less than 24 hours. They were slightly narrow. I called and they sent me another pair and gave me a discount since they now were on sale. The shoes fit well and are very comfortable.

I love these clogs! Very comfortable all day right out of the box. Much nicer and more comfortable than the most recent version of the Professional Oiled clog by Dansko. Go with Sanita! You won't regret it!

Great shoe! I'm a nurse, and spend 12+ hours on my feet at a time. I have lower arches and sometimes my heels will hurt in my tennis shoes when standing for so long. However, I bought these Sanitas after hearing they were the predecessor to Danskos. They are great. My heels never hurt, and I feel like they have just the right support I need. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a really comfy pair of shoes to wear around the house or at work. They take a few times to break in, and since they're hand-made, the sizing does vary by shoe, but overall they one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. And I have a lot of shoes!

I bought Sanita because my last pair of Danskos squeaked horribly, from day one. A friend told me Sanita clogs don't squeak & feel just like Dansko. The size 40 Sanita clog fits a little differently than my same-size Dansko clogs: seems a bit shorter and width seems more snug. I like the quality and will order another pair, but one size larger.

I was looking for a comfortable yet durable pair of shoes for work. I found the perfect pair in Sanita. I work 12-13 hour days and my feet don't hurt in these like they do in other shoes after a long day. They look super cute too. I'm already looking to buy a couple of extra pair for causal wear.

Purchased these after wearing a pair of the blueberry oil everyday at work for over a year. I prefer the backless but in my size I'm happy when I don't have to buy childrens. Look nice and wear well.

First, I love Zappos. It took a few tries, but I finally got exactly what I wanted. Sanita used to make Dansko up until 2007, so they are exactly like the other pair I had since 2005. Love them - so comfortable and great for people on their feet all day!
