I love these rain boots. The fit feels true to size for a rain boot (a little on the roomy side, but my heel doesn't come up). I like that the boot is taller and the look is stylish, yet simple.

I purchased true to my show size 10 and although I have wiggle room in the toe they fit nicely in the foot. I'm disappointed with the "gloss" description though. My boots are cloudy and matte finish...not at all glossy. They do not shine like the photo.

Totally adorable boots. I ordered two sizes - a 6F and a 7F. The six is snug but it definitely works, and the 7 was just way too big, it wasn't manageable. I wish these boots ran in half sizes, and then a 6.5 would be good for me. But it's such cute boot and great protection from rain and mud.

These boots are really cute, but be sure to measure your calves before purchasing. I've never had a problem buying boots, but these were way too tight. I could get them on, but I don't think they would be comfortable for any length of time.

I'm petite (5' tall) and I ordered the 35-36. I usually wear a 6 in boots. Unfortunately, this boot is too tall for me. It hits at least 2 inches above where it should. Sadly, I am returning them.

Generally like the boots and recommend getting the fleece liners if you live in a cooler climate. The only gripe is that they don't sell half sizes (like many other wellies). I've had to settle for a slightly smaller 7 since the 8s were enormous!

Cute and durable. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5. I ordered a 7 because I read reviews saying they feel a half size larger. Those reviews were true. The 7 is even a little big, but sometimes I like to wear them with thick socks, so I'm ok with that.

Despite the low marks for comfort, I really love these boots. I do not expect rain boots to have great arch support, and compared to others I have tried the Hunter boots are actually better as far as rubbing my feet and causing blisters. I am 5'2", and I find that the shaft height is a little taller than I would like. I is not bothersome enough for me to return the boots, though.

I love these. Comfortable and stylish. I bought the welly socks too so they are toasty warm as well.

I bought these for slushy, rainy and snowy days to keep my feet warm and dry, and they are great for that purpose. They are stylish and practical, but there are a few minor sizing issues. They definitely feel a bit roomier in the foot part, and while I was able to tuck in my jeans, they still have a little bit of a weird gap between the ankle part and the shoe part when you walk, so they feel a little strange to walk in at first. In other words, the part where the boot meets the shoe is a little bigger than usual, but it's OK with me since I use these for walking in short distances and usually change into real shoes when I get to work. Other than that, they are comfortable, stylish, and well-made. I'd recommend them for short treks in the rain or snow, but not for all-day wear. I like the size of the boot opening, as I have a hard time finding boots that fit my calves with jeans or pants on. Overall, a good buy.

I originally ordered these shoes in a size 9 (I wear an 8.5) but they were too large so I exchanged them for an 8. They are a tiny bit too tight but the 9 wouldn't have worked. Anyways these shoes are so cute and perfect for jumping in puddles. I even walked around in the mud for fun.

These boots are adorable! Always get compliments on them. I have black gloss and cream cable knit wellies. Really cute combo! I am an 8.5 and ordered the 8. There is more than enough room for the sock in the foot area. The only thing i will say say is that they are a little snug in the calf. With the sock and A skinny jean or legging, there isn't any room left. I am 5' 8 and 130 lbs.

I just received my Hunter Original Gloss boots in violet and thought I'd add my take on the sizing issue. I wear a US 9 1/2 or 10 women's, more often a 9 1/2. I read almost all the reviews and decided to go with the US 9, and I'm so glad I did. These run big. Do NOT order your regular size unless you have wide feet and plan on wearing incredibly thick wool socks with these. I would almost say that these are still a bit too big, but know that a US 8 would be going too far. I have not tried the wellie socks, nor have I even worn these outside yet. Not sure how warm they would be in a snowstorm--probably not very. I may get the fleece socks when Zappos has my size again in the color I want. I love the violet color of these boots. Hunter's have become a little trendy and every girl in NYC is wearing them, but they really are cute and cheerful. Oh, one other thing -- boy do they squeak. Squeak squeak squeak when you walk.

Love these boots, wear them in the snow, gardening, and with skirts to work. Overall, a stylish and functional boot.

I ordered these after a disaster in NYC with a pair of North face boots, I noticed that everyone that was able to maneuver the snow and slush were wearing Hunter boots. Having never tried them on I ordered several different types of Hunters. I have always had issues with my calves. My calves have a circumference of 14.5, with the fleece liner the boot bunched up on me. Nice boot but no space to tuck the pants in once that fleece liner went in. I purchased a size 8 boot but went with a medium liner, much snugger. I was disappointed to see they are made in China, high price point to have been outsourced to China.

They're great! I actually had to purchase one size down from my normal shoe size. My next purchase will be the Hunter socks that complement. I've been wearing snowboarding socks to keep my feet warm.

I ordered these boots from Zappos, knowing thet are a respectable, reliable company. They are the best boots to wear in the rain. They look grear and feel better. The color is awesome! Thank you Zappos for treating every order like it was the only one!

I love them yet I wish the shaft hight had been a liitle bi higher. The interior lining should be warmer yet the fleece helps. Wish they had been made in the UK.

I love my Hunter boots! I'm an 8 1/2 and these boots only come in whole sizes, so they don't fit perfectly. If you wear a half size, I recommend going with the lower whole size--I went with an 8, the 9s were way too big. Very comfy but a bit too snug to wear the cute thick socks underneath.

These aren't going to make you feel like a fashionista, but they are practical, nicer looking rain boots, essential for those of us living in Seattle, where it rains 10 months out of the year and where no one ever cleans out their gutters. These are quite wide, and I have wide feet. I imagine they're made that way to accompany thick socks to wear in cold weather. If you are someone who often orders a little larger to accommodate wide feet, don't with these boots.

I love, love, love these boots. I got them in violet and the color pops. The color you see is what you get. My only problem is that I have medium sized calves, which means that I can't wear the Hunter Wellie socks with the boots because they would be too tight. If you have larger calves you may want to consider trying the Huntress. Other than that, they are comfortable and look great on.

Although these boots are great for keeping out the rain and snow, they are not warm at all (even with the welly liners). I live in Chicago, and cannot wear these during the colder winter months.

I love the color of these boots. They brighten up any rainy or slushy day. Plus they clean up really well with just a damp cloth. There are two things I wish were a bit different. The opening around my calf is very snug; so much so that by the end of the day I have to get help to pull them off. I don't have particularly large calves, but I am athletic. Even if they were just a half inch wider or so, it would make a big difference. The other problem is on a hot and humid summer day, these roast my feet and legs, making them virtually unwearable. I'd like to see Hunter figure out a more breathable boot for those warmer months.
