I had high hopes for these as a Birkenstock substitute, but these Naot wides still ran more narrow than Birkenstock Regulars. Nice arch supports if they'll fit, but better for folks with narrower feet.

I love this shoe and have worn it for years. I was disappointed to have to return the new pair I ordered because the back is now so high, it cuts into my ankle bone and top of heel. :(

I ordered 1 pair of grey shoes in wide (was ok with the 3 grey materials) but returned them because the collar which comes up at the top of the heel back on the left shoe was literally twice as high as the collar on the right shoe and dug into my Achilles’ tendon area. Also, the decorative stitching on the top of the right shoe was already coming unstitched fresh out of the box. I really needed a black pair, so reordered in black, same size. The strap across the instep has 2 materials - patent leather and a short amount of soft leather which is what comes in contact with the instep. On 1 of the black shoes the short amount of soft leather is joined poorly with the patent leather area such that the seam of the joining actually digs in and scratches across my instep. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall, 115 pounds and 64 years old. I do not have chunky feet, so would not expect a strap to dig into my instep. Bottom line, I can’t believe the poor quality control of this style, and for the $185 cost will not keep this pair. I ordered 4 pair of shoes from Zappos - 1 each from Naot, Rockport, Clark’s and Taos. Amazingly to me, I think I will keep the lesser expensive Rockports and return the others.

Not super attractive but I could live with it if they were comfortable. Unfortunately ordering in my true size they were too small. I may try to get next largest size to see if those work.

Wanted to love this shoe but the seams on the inside rub the side of my foot creating abrasions.

I wear NAOT shoes all the time. This style was very small and did not fit.

I really liked the looks of this Kirei, but unfortunately the leather around the edges of this shoe was very hard, as was the straps across the foot. Sending back.

These didn't work for the shape of my foot. The shoe is angled in the front and my long toes rubbed the top of the shoe. Going up a size would not work for this style. Too bad as many people gave great reviews for this shoe. Still trying to find a comfortable walking shoe that is stylish.

I need a wide width due to bunions, etc., but the whole shoe gaps because the entire shoe is too big. The cross strap is set at at the wrong angle and is set too far forward to be able to close the gap. For that price, they need to fit perfectly!

Disappointed in the fit of this shoe. I was hoping to find a low-profile semi-dressy comfort shoe to fit my large foot, but this Naot shoe is very small and narrow, despite being advertised as a 43.

This shoe was fantastic. I'm on my feet for 10 hours plus a day and these were comfortable right from the start. That being said, I've had them 3 months and the bottom has separated from the rest of the shoe. For such an expensive shoe, really thought they would last longer. So very disappointed.

Unfortunately I have to return these shoes - the Wide width was still too narrow, and their wasn't enough arch support.

Cute but surprisingly unsupportive for my foot. I have severe arthritis, and I knew immediately it wouldn't work.

I love the look of this shoe but it is extremely uncomfortable across the toes. My second toe is longer than the first and this shoe design disfavors a longer second toe. I usually wear a size 12 medium but exchanged the medium for a wide. I would have order a size 13 but the shoe is not offered in that size. I am trying to stretch the toe box. My right foot is in serious pain! Runs short and narrow.

I purchased this shoe in 2012. They have been lightly worn and the sole is still in very good shape. However, after 2 years, the right shoe has developed a squeak. A squeak isn't the end of the world but it is annoying and these shoes were expensive enough that I expect them to be better made and more durable.

The suede part around the outside of shoe is sparkly/glittery; that wasn't apparent online. As a result, looks like a little girl shoe. Also runs small.

W is not wide. They did not fit. I was really hoping these would be good and I can see why the footbed might eventually be comfortable but my wide feet did not fit and it was tight.

Although the other reviews rated this shoe as larger than marked, I did not find it to be the case and had to return it for a larger size. At first, I thought I had found "the shoe" I needed for support and comfort, but after a few days of wearing them, my feet started to hurt and I can only wear them sometimes for short amounts of time. I'm so disappointed that they did not work out as I'd hoped.

I have 9 different pair of Naots; this pair of shoes Kirei (with the strap that goes across at an angle) causes the buckle end to rub a blister on my foot. The straight across strap is just great but the angle causes the shoe to not fit properly.

Having plantar fasciitis, I am very picky about my shoes. Strong arch support is a must, even if I have to sacrifice looks. These failed to impress. The arch support was severely lacking, although they do have removable insole to accommodate orthotics. The length of the shoe was good, but the shoe pulled down any sock I wore (even smartwool) down into the shoe...extremely uncomfortable. I do not have wide feet, yet the strap doesn't come far enough over the Velcro so any piece of fuzz or and lint clings to the exposed Velcro making the shoes look dirty. I would reconsider these shoes if they beefed up the insole and arch support, but at this hefty price, I do not believe the value is there.

Based on the other reviews, am I the only one who doesn't love these shoes? Actually, the shoes are fine, with plenty of room in the toe box and nice cushion on the bottom. It's the strap that's the problem. It's just a narrow very thin piece of leather with no cushioning at all. There's a seam right in the middle of it that rubs my skin. The velcro is a faction wider that the strap so the rough part of the velcro also irritates my skin. I tried loosening and tightening the strap and nothing helped. Overall the strap is uncomfortable and just looks and feel cheap versus the rest of this expensive shoe. You would think for the price they could have done a lot better.

I bought these because they are one of the few cute walking shoes for a younger person. I was planning to wear them to Italy. They are actually cuter than they look in the pictures. Unfortunately the back strap rubbed and actually made me bleed. I have high arches and found they had no arch support at all. The cork footbed is supposed to form to your foot and make a custom fit but I did not experience that at all. For some reason anytime I wear them I end up with tons of stones in my shoes. Oh, and the seam started to unravel almost instantly. I wanted to like these but they are not comfortable or quality at all!

Loved these shoes,the style, the padding in the foot bed were wonderful! but the material the outer material of the shoes is sooo flimsy they would not hold up with daily wear.

Whoever is responsible for sizing this shoe should be shot! They were so small I could hardly put them on, I didn't even try walking in them. I was so happy when I found what was supposedly a comfortable shoe that was cute, and I was beyond disappointed. I have a large, but narrow foot, size 12, and it is hard enough to find shoes and considering that 12 is the largest size it isn't likeI can go larger. Thanks Naot for one more awful shoe buying experience!

These stretched out significantly after wearing. I wore them with wool socks then and they stretched even more and are too loose now. They were comfortable but the back heel design looks clunky. I can't find any information on a guarantee or customer service.
