This shoe is so comfortable, I can't take them off! Lots of compliments too. With the velcro strap, it fits my narrow foot perfectly.

I needed comfy and supportive shoes for a trip to Europe. Unfortunately, I was not organized enough to buy shoes early enough to break them in before leaving for my trip. I bought these shoes online, tried them (and many other shoes on that were recommended by travelers on the internet) and kept these. From the moment I put them on they were comfortable. I walked miles and miles on these shoes right out of the box--no blisters no pain. Wow. I am buying these in another color--they may not be the cutest shoe you will ever wear but they may be the most comfortable shoe you ever wear! PS--I get compliments about these shoes every time I wear them!

After much thinking (the price was one consideration!) I decided to order this pair of Naot Kirei. I ordered the silver/grey: they are beautiful ans so comfortable, like walking on clouds...Just what I needed! I might order a second pair. Thanks Zappos, your service is excellent!

Love these shoes. Ordered so many pairs before finding these. I have a narrow foot and needed a good walking shoe for Italy. This on fit the bill. Walked for hours and hours in these shoes with no discomfort. And they were brand new.

Just returned from a week of tromping around Spain in these Naots - they are perfect for travel! Immediately comfortable out of the box, the Kirei has a wide toe box, superior arch support and shock absorption. Dressy enough for a casual dinner, but sporty enough for touring cathedrals, olive tree farms and museums, they can also accommodate a thin sock for cooler weather. True to size initially, they stretched a bit after a couple of days, but not to the point where they felt loose. Foot felt cool while walking and stayed dry even when it rained (or stepping in the occasional puddle). Would buy again!

I have "bad" feet, having undergone surgeries for bunions and a damaged posterior tibial tendon. I had just about given up on finding some truly comfortable shoes, until I discovered Naots! I love my Kireis. At the end of the day when I wear them, my feet feel as if they've been massaged. I was so impressed with them, as a matter of fact, that I bought two more pairs of Naots, the Sea and the Matai. Naots are more expensive than any shoes I've ever purchased, but they are worth every cent. I wear a size 8 1/2. I first ordered a 38 but had to return them for a 39. (Zappos is wonderful about returns.)

The most comfy shoes I've worn in years! Plus, they don't look like my usual orthopedic clunky styles. They are actually quite attractive (I got them in violet.) I don't agree that they run large, in fact I think they run just a tad bit short. I typically wear a 9, and these are just a tiny bit snug in length. Not so much that I will exchange them, but on San Francisco hills you notice when your toes hit the end of the shoe. I wish I could afford to get a couple more pairs in different colors.

Super comfortable right out of the box - not something I'm used to. I got the purple ones and they are very nice, enough color to stand out while remaining a neutral.

Very comfortable. I needed a size larger than usual to achieve that comfort. Needed a 41 instead of a 40. I don't know if that is a half size or a whole size different.

I am floored by the comfort of these shoes. I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis for about a year. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. My feet were so sore that I was almost to the point of not being able to walk. I purchased my first pair of Naot shoes in the Kirei Platinum style and am thrilled with them. I was a bit skeptical about paying the high price for the shoes, however. This price of shoe is very steep for one on a teacher's salary. The Naots immediately felt wonderful on my feet and provided excellent support. My feet have not hurt as much in the morning upon rising and I am hopeful these will help improve my plantar fasciitis condition over time. The shoes are stylish and look great with my work pants. They are not boxy and unflattering like many of the "comfort" shoes I looked at. I am 48 years old and I still like to look youthful and stylish so how the shoe looks is as important as how it fits. I have an additional problem with a bunion on one of my feet and the Naots are roomy enough across the toe box to accommodate this problem. I am planning to order another pair in black. While I haven't read any comments about how well the shoes hold up, I certainly hope they last a long time considering the cost.

I'm wearing my Kirei's right now and they are so comfy! I bought them for a trip to Italy and it was a big investment for me to spend this much on a pair of shoes. I have gotten Ecco's before for my trips and they have failed me miserably - I've gotten blisters and cuts and the support never lasted. (They were ugly as sin too!) That was a lot of money for me and these were even more, BUT they are worth every penny! Not only are they more comfortable and better made - they're cute too! I'm a complete Naot freak now. I bought the Dorith sandals as well and they are the only shoes I wore on the trip for 3 weeks. We walked close to 150 miles and the shoes were up to the task. I never had sore feet. I'm now ready to throw out almost all of my shoes and am looking to slowly stock up on other Naot shoes. I have never been so comfortable. The thought of wearing most of my other shoes is torture! I was so enthusiastic that my husband got a pair too that he really liked. On another note - I had a baby 2 1/2 years ago and my big toe on my right foot grew and is longer than my other toe - what a pain! Because of the angle of these shoes, I finally don't feel my big toe hitting my shoe - what a godsend! Thank you Naot!

Just returned from a trip to London wearing the Kirei most of the days and for many miles...very comfortable -- more so than athletic shoes -- and adaptable to go to the theater in the evening. Would definitely recommend them. I wear a size 5 1/2 and the size ended up with the size 5. The 6 seemed too large.

This cute shoe leaves a lot of your top foot exposed and may not be so good in winter weather. It was a little short, so I returned it.

These have to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I usually wear high heels, wedges or platforms. These have just enough of a heel, so I'm not wearing "flats." Love them!

I am a serious urban walker. But I had an injury and surgery in one foot, which thinned out the natural cushion in my foot, and a bunion developing in the other. Tried negative heel and when that caused other problems, a combination of inserts and other brands. I eventually resigned myself to a moderate amount of pain if I wanted to continue my ambles. Finally turned to Naot in the Kirei style, after reading the reviews here, and I just cannot get over it. Pain gone. Put the pair on out of the box and took a half hour walk in one direction, met a friend for coffee, and then another hour walk in the other direction. Pain gone. My feet feel completely supported and cushioned, and I think these shoes might also stop the bunion from developing further. And, as others have noted here, these are cute shoes. Several friends, who don't have foot problems and are very much into shoes, have complimented these. And yet, you can walk forever in them!

When I hit my third trimester, I went looking for a pair of supportive and cushioned shoes hoping that they would help me walk farther more comfortably and keep the bones in my feet from spreading any more than necessary during the pregnancy. I could not be happier with these shoes! I generally wear a half size and ordered the size up; they fit perfectly. I wear them every day, which is saying a lot for me (I tend to be a different-shoe-for-each-outfit kind of person). The foot bed (insole) is fantastic, the strap helps with the support, and the sole is cushioned and well textured but not too thick/athletic looking. The gray is a wonderful neutral color and they go well with many things. The best part of the shoe is that it was carefully designed so that the suede and leather sections are cut to give the illusion that the toe part is much more delicate it actually is. So you get the best of both worlds -- the shoes have all the support of a larger toe box with none of the clunkiness that I usually associate with comfort shoes. I have been looking everywhere for a pair of similar shoes in black, but I have not found an alternative. I see a black pair of Kireis in my future. Oh, and my mom and mother-in-law also bought these shoes (one in black the other in porcini brown) and both of them absolutely love the style. Highly recommended!

Bought these for travel and work, about two weeks before the big trip to Tuscany. One small blister on one heel the first day, and have been wearing a preventive bandaid since, during the trip, with no further problems. Comfortable for walking all day, including up steep hills and while carrying things. Roomy toe box, and the strap works and looks like new, no curl at the end or slipping Velcro. I am a size nine and got a 40. A 39 would also have worked, I think.

Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, right out of the box! Finally after years of searching, many brands and money gone through, I have finally found the right shoe. I suffer with plantar fascitis, had bunion surgery and have a hammertoe. I am under 40 and find it hard to find cute shoes and comfort. I have tried Birkenstock, Merrell, Fitflops, MBT, Finn Comfort, Clarks and I will stop rattling off there! Finally this fits the bill, if you too have trouble with shoes look no more this is the one! I have even worn them running with my kids, no problem. One note about the color of the one I chose, the platinum leather, taupe patent leather, it is actually darker than the picture.

Bought this shoe because of the positive reviews. Wanted a comfortable, but somewhat stylish shoe for travelling and walking. It felt great the minute I put it on and worked great on my first trip...no foot pain at all! Bought a size 38 which is a half size larger than my normal size 7. The width was a bit wider but that's what made it feel so comfortable on my Hawaiian feet! Worth the price for wonderful feet comfort.

These are lovely shoes. Unfortunately they are too wide in the heel for me. I have three other Naots that work well for me. These shoes are stunning in the gray with metallic silver trim.

Ordered these in the grayish shade and they are gorgeous with silver trim. Love them, and sadly, have to return them because the heels are too loose on me and I need the width in the front of the foot. I have 3 other Naot styles that I love and which fit me fine.

I have TERRIBLE feet -- pronate like crazy, heel spurs, plantar fasciitics, and neuromas. That said, most of the time I have them down to a dull roar thanks to my Danskos. Birkenstocks, and orthotics in my athletic shoes. Last month it all blew up again thanks to a rather stupid move on my part, and the pain has been excrutiating. I could barely walk -- even in gym shoes with orthotocs -- until I tried a pair of these. The difference is unbelievable. Comfortable out of the box, and adorable to boot. They will even fir my orthotics if need be. I am ordering another pair immediately!

This is a very awesome shoe! Unfortunately my foot was too wide and they weren't a comfortable fit. The shoe is true to width for someone who has a more of a medium width. And as always Zappos has its exceptional customer service! Thanks Zappos

The only criticism i have is that the picture doesn't reflect the color combo accurately. There is not nearly as much contrast between the lightness of the strap and the color of the shoe. The strap is more bronze-y gold and blends very well into the dark taupe color of the shoe. Amazing arch support, also great for wide feet. I've had my pair two years and am only just now about to replace the insert. I wear them almost everyday on concrete floors at work. Make sure you spray/seal the cork insert if you plan on wearing these barefoot. Best cute work shoe I've ever had!
