These are so comfortable. I needed a shoe for work that I could wear in the summer without socks and was closed toed, and not give me blisters. This shoe is perfect for that. I am an 8.5 or 9 without socks and the 40 fit me great (maybe just a hair big, but with the strap they are perfect). I have the purple, and the only complaint is that they do get water stains on them. I even tried to spray them with a protector, but it didn't really do much.

This is my first pair of Naot shoes and I have to say they are the best shoes I have ever worn other than my running shoes. I just returned from a 3 week trip to Spain where I walked at least 5 to 10 miles a day. Wow! I never had any problems with these shoes! No break-in period and they continued to look and feel great despite the wear and tear of dirt roads, climbing over rocks, and daily pounding the pavement. I wanted a nice looking pair of shoes that I could wear as walking shoes and these shoes really delivered!

I bought these shoes and they are adorable! I wear Naot everyday. I found this style to be slightly smaller than the usual. I bought the size 7 and my other Naots are all 7. These were too small. I sent them back and ordered next size up and can't wait for them to arrive as they are very nice!

These were above my budget, but I ordered them to see if they really were as good as people were saying and indeed they are extremely comfortable.

I love this shoe. I haven't worn it much yet, but the first time was awesome. No break in period. I like that it tends to make my foot look shorter. I ordered my usual size and it fit great. The arch support is wonderful. I tend to have problems with plantar fasciitis so I like that good support. We are taking a Mediterranean cruise in a few weeks and I plan this to be my go to shoe for shore excursions.

I love these shoes! I bought two pairs! Any ideas on what to wear the blue ones with? They are so pretty. I went I to buy the black, but the blue caught my eye!

I agree 100% with the great reviews on this shoe. I'm normally a 9 1/2 or 10, and took a chance on the 41. It fits both feet like a dream -- fantastic comfort and support -- worth every penny! And the Zappos service is equally outstanding!

My mind was boggled by the extraordinary number of positive reviews for this shoe. I understood after I put it on and took a few dozen steps. I have never had a shoe that seemed to be tailor-made for me. I had a hip replacement three months ago and for work, needed shoes that don't look ridiculous but that support the whole body. What a fabulous deal--bought the violet too. I know the price is high, but so well worth it.

This one is the keeper. My feet feel comfortable in this shoe - I have mild peripheral neuropathy and don't like enclosed shoes but need a pair for an upcoming trip. Looking forward to traveling and if everyone else is correct then this one should be perfect. My feet don't feel cramped in the toes. The heel stays on the back of my foot and there is good cushioning. The strap is very adjustable and I like the Velcro - makes it easier to adjust and take on and off. Most expensive pair of shoes I have ever bought but will be worth it if they are as comfortable as I anticipate.

I originally ordered one size smaller, as suggested by Naot, but they were much too short. Thanks to Zappos awesome return policy, I was able to exchange them for my normal size (9) which fits perfectly. I have somewhat narrow feet so shoes of this type are usually too wide, but this shoe fits without slipping. I also tend to get blisters on my heels and no problem with these shoes. They are very comfy right out of the box with plenty of support & cushioning. Not a fan of patent leather, but it looks cute on these shoes. Starting to think I need a second pair in a different color.... Worth the price!

FIRST, listen to Naot and the Zappos Reviewers. I ordered down from my typical 37 (my size in this brand) to a 36! The size 36 is perfect. (With Zappos service any exchange is simple!) The "Polar Sea" blue is a great color - it will go with everything from navy to denims. Naot brand may be on the high side, but the shoes are not only stylish, wear like iron, but are super comfortable. I'm a high school teacher and spend hours on my feet. Love Zappos - VIP (have been for years) and buying shoes has never been easier!

I spent weeks researching "comfortable, cute walking shoes" for an upcoming vacation - four airports and lots of walking for 12 hours. I tried these on locally, and loved them. But after receiving and wearing around the house, they have to go back. They are very cute, even with socks. I bought the sterling color. They are kind of dorky-chic. They are easy to slip on and off, and the Velcro strap provides a just-right snug fig. Despite the suggestion to order small, I found half a size up for me was still too short. I usually wear an 8½, I ordered a 40 (Size 9) in these. My big toes press against the front. Also, I have bunions and found these shoes too narrow in the toe box. The bunion itself is OK, but other toes feel cramped and some rub across the top of the shoes. I really wanted to like them - the reviews were impressive. But they just did not work for me. They are even uncomfortable when I am sitting here writing this review.

These shoes are so comfortable, and they look really cute, especially with jeans. I love the blue suede color the best. The heel covering is a little bit high, but it guarantees the shoe doesn't slip and cause blisters. I wear a 39 in Naot, but since these are closed-toe shoes, I need to order a 40.

I can truly see that wearing Naot shoes healed my plantar fasciitis. My heel was killing me and applying cold only helped in the short term. Within three months my pain was gone. The price for a pair of shoes is steep, but well worth it.

I am a size 6.5 and I fit right between the 37 and 38. I really wanted these to work. At this price I just could not compromise on city and I am looking for something for walking during travel. They are so cute. The color is better than what it appears online. A really nice shoe if it fits well. Good arch support.

I've tried on several different styles of Naots. The footbed always feels like heaven, but sadly, up till now, they were always just a tad bit tight in the forefront area where my bunion is making my foot wider and wider. I was just about to give up on the brand, but couldn't resist trying one more. This is it! I haven't worn them outside yet, because I'm still debating about the color. I ordered the copper, which is a little dark for summer. Thinking about getting the platinum to compare. But I'm concerned about the lighter color in the suede getting dirtier. I'd love to hear from anyone who has tried that color as to how they wear. Or from anyone else about how the suede holds up in general! Anyone get caught in the rain in them?

Like several other reviewers I have terrible feet. I'm also terribly cheap. This was the kind of purchase that makes you wonder if surgery might just be a better idea in the end. But they are perfect! I love them. I've walked all over NYC (without angering my neuroma)and around my country yard. They flex in the toe but keep your foot from rocking side to side. They have a wide toe box without being too roomy in the ankle. They have some arch support and I wear them barefoot all the time and are ridiculously comfortable. They are like sneakers though, in that you might want to get the largest size that your are accustomed to. (I wear a 9 in sneakers 8 in dress shoes and needed the larger size.)

I have never in my life paid this much for a pair of shoes -- and I am in one of my latter decades of life - ie. these feet have done a lot of walking! But I also have never before put on a pair of shoes that fit my feet like someone had handmade them for me. I bought them for a trip to France and wore them continuously. They worked for days of walking and also for dining at night. It was worth the investment -- and I'd buy more shoes made by this manufacturer.

These shoes are well-built and attractive, with an excellent insole! Unfortunately, I still had to return them, as the size "12" is actually a size 11. I really wish they'd fit!

These are my first Naots and they are extremely comfortable right out of the box and required no break-in period. It is perfect for work and also kept my feet dry. I ordered my regular size and it fit true to size. Highly recommend!

This is bar none, the best shoe I have ever put on my foot. It is comfortable & supportive. I bought it for trip to Europe where we will be doing a lot of walking, so will report after the trip. In the meantime, have worn it around town to break them in, and don't even think I needed to do that. Good support all the way round, and the shoe looks nice with casual and even some dressier clothing. This neutral color works well with a lot of things. May buy a pair in every color and never wear anything else other than the athletic shoes I use in the gym. I bought a 38 and normally wear a size 7. My foot runs a little narrow. Well worth the money if your care about comfort and quality.

I love this shoe. I teach abroad every summer and this shoe has been terrific. This style is versatile, comfortable, and well worth the money. I have a black pair, grey pair and I'm getting ready to order a pair in blue. I walk miles and my original black pair are now two years old and hardly show any wear. I wear a 7 and find this shoe true to size.

These are great shoes. They are worth the money. Easy on/off through airport security. Can be dressed up or down. I walked for hours in these on recent vacation and had no problems whatsoever. They were super comfortable from the beginning.

I have "problem feet", so it is difficult finding shoes that are both stylish and fit comfortably that I can wear for a long day of walking. I bought these for an upcoming trip to Italy. I have been very impressed so far. I can adjust them for my one foot that is wider/shorter than the other, the provider excellent support and are really cute with pants and shorts. Highly recommend these!

This is my second pair of Naot shoes. The first pair was purchased locally just a few weeks ago, and it's official, I am hooked. These things are ridiculously comfortable. I cannot get enough of these amazing shoes and I am back looking for another style. So comfortable. It's like heaven on my feet. Note about the Peacock/Purple/Violet, it's far more purple in person. The pictures on the site make it look closer to an oxblood color, but I am very pleased regardless.
