I call these elf shoes. I feel very grounded/stable and they stay on very well. I prefer wedges and it is nice to see some with a little flair. The only reason they are not 5 star is I'd like them just a smidge wider.

Although the shoe feels smaller than marked, the wedge heel with the platform front feels as if I'm walking on flats. I'm looking forward to see how the next 1/2 size up feels.

I have wide feet with bunions. I can't wear a lot of stylish shoes. My normal shoes are Dansko, Sanita, Timberland and flip flops. These shoes look stylish and comfortable however it has taken me 5 eight hours days in them to break them in. If you have a narrow foot, these would be great shoes for you. If you have a wider foot, I would suggest taking them to a shoe repair shop and have them stretched out first. I could still use a few more days in them to get them just right. The leather is very soft with quality construction.

I love the way these shoes look... I have gotten so many compliments on them. I also love the height since I'm only 5'2". The only problem was that until they were broken in they "dug" into the outside of my feet. I started wearing them with black socks, and they are beginning to mold to my feet, so the problem seems to be resolving itself. Also, they aren't quite narrow enough in the heal. Still- they are worth it.

Truly a BEAUTIFUL shoe- it is solid black, with silver lining. The ONLY reason I'm returning it is because the toe box is just too narrow for my foot- otherwise, really a chic choice! Looks exactly as shown online :)

I have small bunions and look for shoes with platforms and no seams on the bunions...well, these fit the bill. Felt a little tight, but should be great after a little stretching. I've worn them 5-6 times and they feel good for 8 hours and then they feel a bit heavy. Could just be my feet. One coworker (who usually likes all my shoes) said these looked too orthopedic and a bit clunky. (I still think they have a bit of edge and like them.) Wish they would've been perfect.

These shoes have the softest leather!! Unfortunately they were not roomy enough in the toe box and pressed down on the top of my foot as well, so had to return them. Would have liked to exchange these if they came in wide.

These are super-cool-looking shoes--I really loved how they fit and looked. But I became nervous about wearing them in the winter, as the leather comes all the way down the sides of the shoe right down to the (thin) rubber sole--I am imagining that the leather would let salt and water stains in if worn in the rain or snow, given that they come so low to the ground. They are also, as another reviewer mentioned, a little awkward to walk in--kind of like wooden shoes. The platform is thick and completely inflexible.
That said, they seem comfortable enough just walking around inside my house. But I do enough walking outdoors in different weather conditions so these are not a great choice for me. Too bad.

Everyone compliments me on these shoes!! They're comfortable - most of the time - but some days the left one kills my foot as I walk, mostly paining the top of my foot.

Cute shoe, but not as comfortable as other Tsubo shoes. The top of the toe box closest to the big toe is tight.

This brand rocks. Super comfy and well constructed. The shoes are slightly unstable (typical wedge clog design) but otherwise a really good shoe.

Really cute shoes. Hope the strap across the top can stay strong. It's Velcro. But lovely and comfy.

These shoes are gorgeous. However, my usual 8 did not work for these shoes. They were tight across the top, and my feet are not fat at all.

Cute. Gorgeous shoe, but too tight across the toe box for me, unlike other Tsubos I have in the same size. I'm not sure I want the experience of breaking them in.

I really like the style of these shoes; it is very unique. I returned them because they fit in terms of the length of the shoe and in the toe box, but were loose on the heel such that my heel was slipping out the back. In addition, they are unstable. While I was trying them out, I lost my balance and nearly twisted my ankle. I knew they wouldn't work in my workplace, where I am constantly walking around and taking the stairs.

There is a bit of a balance problem due to much arching of the platform, but I could manage that. The favorite part of the shoes is the insole: nice, soft, textured lather that prevent foot from sliding around. Pretty insole color too. These would be keepers, if outer leather had no staining. I bought these in color Camel, and was disappointed how uneven the color was and how much dark brownish staining was over the toe area and around the heel. In fact, these stains masked the real leather color (very soft, warm nude color rather than camel) and made shoes look unkempt and a bit dirty. Without those ugly stains the camel shoes would be very light looking on my feet without being reminiscent of Dutch clogs. I also ordered these shoes in Shark color for my daughter, and this color is very even all over, but dull. That particular grey is so much less complementing to the foot and makes shoes look like Dutch clogs for sure. Goes well with jeans, though. Regretfully, I will return both pairs.

Comfortable if you can get it to fit you. It is very wide in the heel. The hard toe box required my getting a half size larger so my toe wouldn't hurt, but then it was so wide it was hard to keep on the foot. The strap is so long that the lining silver lining shows on the inner side about a half inch, and the strap goes all the way down the the floor on the outer side of the foot. I have a very high instep so if the strap is that much too long on me, I can only imagine how bad it would be on someone with a normal instep. However, they are utterly, unbelievably comfortable otherwise.

Oh, how I love the way you look! But I must have really fat toes, that you squeeze and pinch like a long lost relative. You must go back. I will miss you.

I waited for these shoes to be available on my size. The shoes are very stylish and cool, but they felt extremely tight, even though my feet are rather narrow. Furthermore, they felt kind of weird to walk on, given the unsual platform.

I wanted these shoes for a really long time, and after finally buying them- they indeed look and fit just as fabulous as I was hoping. I get many comments about how cute they are, and they go with many outfits. What is not cool, however, is how the rubber bottom is already peeling away from the shoe. At first I thought it was a defect unique to the pair of shoes I received, so I exchanged them (after only two weeks of wear). Zappos, being as awesome as they are, were of course super easy to work with, and got me a new pair in no time. But now the rubber on this new pair is peeling away too (after a few weeks of wear), and I'm wondering if it's a design flaw. I work in a carpeted area, so maybe these shoes and carpet don't get along? I tried gluing them once, and it did not hold, so I am going to take them to a shoe repair to see if that works better. Overall, these are cute shoes, but for the price? I would just hope the quality would be a little better. I've never had this problem with other shoes I've worn to work before- all of which cost much less.

I was very excited when I ordered the Tsubo Asmik, as there were so many 5 star reviews and thought that I would be in love like everyone else. I have to say I was not at all impressed with this shoe. That being said, I am actually pretty easy to please. Not sure if my expectations were too high due to reviews, but very underwhelmed, especially for the price. The shoes are attractive and well made, but very tippy...I cannot say this enough. I have worn Dansko's in the past and they are tippy but not nearly like this. Also, I found it very hard to pair the shoes with my wardrobe. The did not look good with skinny jeans, cute colored pants or the other trends right now. They looked a bit homely...not at all stylish. They looked okay under boot cut jeans but that was really it.

Great looking design. Comfortable though slightly wobbly due to small sole footprint. Great product photo (can't say the same for in person product). Give 2 stars to Tsubo for having poor quality control! I ordered a Camel colored pair. More grey-beige in real life than tan-beige in picture. The first pair I got I thought was damaged as one shoe was noticeably "tobacco stained" darker on the toe than the other. The second pair happened to have scratches all over it (truly damaged). Third pair the coloring was not consistent across both shoes but at least less noticeable. Apparently the staining was part of the design (flaw). Just going to keep them. Figure they will eventually be as "dirty" as they look out of the box at some point.

These shoes seemed to fit well and feel comfortable - at first. The wedge is actually very narrow, though, so after wearing them at a trade show all day for 3 days straight, my back hurt and I had turned my ankle several times. I wish I had realized how uncomfortable they really are before wearing them out of the house! They also pinched my toes after a few hours. They look cute, but I'll try to sell them at a resale shop.

Very attractive shoe but the toe box mashes and bruises my big toe. Had to give them away. I love other Tsubo models and can walk literally miles in them comfortably.

If you are like me and have an older pair of the Tsubo Mary Janes these shoes are in no way the same. They have a really cushioned insole that actually causes pain on the balls of my feet and bottom of my heels (that is where the cushioned spots are). That also slip in the back which gave me a dime size blister within an hour of wearing. When I took them off after work my feet where relieved to no longer be pinched and rubbed in unfamiliar places. They also caused leg pain. Long story long, these are not right out of the box comfortable like the old Tsubos. I'm very bummed because I was totally confident in them when I wore them.
