I wear a 7.5 and these were way to small. I could barely squeeze my foot into these. Disappointed. Wish I could find a cute Mary Jane that is comfy but has some wedge height. The search continues.

I chose these shoes because I wanted a fashionable shoe with some height that would be comfortable standing for periods of time. I very pleased with these, as they fit the bill perfectly. I bought the green color and it's a perfect dark sage. I did size up a 1/2 size based on other reviews and I'm glad I did.

Love these, I have another pair in brown suede. I teach and have to stand all day so these are really comfortable and look great.

This shoe is a true winner. I owe my sister for ordering a pair first. It's a 7.5 medium width, perfectly. Stylish. Practical. Comfortable to walk in. Not for narrow feet, but if you're a regular/medium width foot, you can't do better than this shoe for styling shoes at work or out about town.

I have chronic plantar fasciitis as well as hallux limitus in both feet. I can't wear most heels, but this is a heel that feels like a flat. Comfortable from day one for city walking and a long day at the office.

This is my third pair of the same shoe. They are comfortable and a great fit for my narrow feet. They feel a bit loose in the back, but if I go a size small then the toe box might not fit. It is already pretty snug for the size I got. I get great compliments.

Love these shoes -- they look great with everything. I especially like the fact that I can walk a mile in them. Super cute with dresses and skirts. Nice with jeans too. I don't know who thinks these run small, but they are actually true to size. I own 5 pairs of Tsubos in size 8 and I wear an 8 in these. In fact, I followed the advice on the page to order 0.5 size larger and they turned out to be way too big -- heel slippage like crazy. Returning the 8.5s. The 8s are great. The top is adjustable so if you have high arches, they won't bind. People who complained that the top is cutting into their foot probably have fat feet. If you have normal feet you won't have a problem.

Nice looking shoe, although it is a little too narrow in the toe region. My toes always hit the top of the shoe when I'm walking. True to size for a heel, meaning order the next size up for comfort.

I like this shoe a lot but it is a little unstable. If you are walking on cobble stones for instance, you can sprain your ankles very easily and because you can't walk on your forefoot only in those situations like you could if you had heels on, you can't avoid it. So, they are comfortable provided you walk on even surfaces.

I had such high hopes for these. They don't live up to the hype. The engineering is incredible but the look on the foot is indeed too matronly. I should disclose that I'm one of the rare women who find Dansko clogs to be clunky, utilitarian-looking and down-right ugly. If you love clogs and are looking for something with a bit more edge, this shoe is for you. If you already have edgy shoes (such as L.A.M.B. perforated taupe suede 6" closed-toe pumps with a 2" platform and stiletto heel or Romantic Soles riff on a cowboy bootie in dark brown with gold stud detailing at sides and back of the shoe) in your wardrobe and are looking to add an attractive and comfortable all-day shoe to wear with skirts and trousers, try Clarks/Indigo/Privo, Fitzwell, or Merrells with their Qform insole. The Tsubo Asmik's toe box was not only too narrow, but was also not very deep, which caused the top of my foot to swell up over the top of the shoe while I just walked on the carpet around my house. The diagonal strap was awkward and did not do its job holding my heel into the back of the shoe...it kept sliding out, which meant exchanging for a size up would not have fixed the issue with the toe box. If you can wear these comfortably and you like the look, they are a great quality shoe. The leather is impeccable. If you have a wide foot and narrow heel, you'll have issues with fit.

These are really cute, and I've received a lot of compliments, but they are tight around the top of my feet. My feet look like bread dough rising. I've worn them twice and am currently trying to stretch the top part so they aren't so tight.

These shoes look beautiful in red. They felt comfortable in the store. After wearing them to work and walking in them and my toes was in pain and the front was cutting into my foot. I decided to give them another try and alas with the narrow bottom my worst fear came true I ended up falling on the sidewalk hurting my back. To make it worse I paid double the price then what is listed hear on Zappos, which in itself is a surprise because Zappos can really bilk you. I remember the plain black leather Cole Haan black boots I bought from Zappos for a lot of dollars. At the time I wasn't aware that there were several other sites where I could get the same boot for less!

Wanted a pair of funky office shoes that gave me height without wobble, and these were perfect. I normally wear an 8.5-9, and the 9 fit well. They're very comfortable and I easily wear them all day without aches or blisters. Even the break-in period was mild.

These shoes are so easy to walk in and feel like tall sneakers. The leather is stiff but will break in I'm sure.

I am wearing these today and feel like I am doing an infomercial for these shoes. So far, six co-workers have complimented me on them and one has gone to Zappos to buy a pair for herself. These are great shoes that look like a stylish heel, but feel like a flat. I didn't have the issue other reviewers had of them feeling too narrow. I find them very stable for walking. I did have some trouble getting the sizing right though. I typically wear either a 6.5 or 7. I got a 7 in these and at first thought they were too small, so I ordered at 7.5 and found them too long. So I decided to stick with the 7s in the hopes that they would soften slightly in the toe box, which is what has happened. (Thanks, by the way, to Zappos for always being awesome re. returns etc.)

When I first saw this online, I fell in love, although I had a bit of qualms about buying it since some users say it's runs big. I bought the 6M even though my size was 5M, and it seems to be true to its size. Fitting it for the first time - it felt wonderful. I was not surprised that it had a 2mm gap at the heels (it's a size larger - hello), but like my other 6M shoes I put a heel pad to help it fit snugly - besides, I plan to wear it with socks sometimes for the office. It is very comfy, and lightweight, and it gives me the illusion of high heels even if it doesn't feel like it!

I adore these shoes. I get compliments all the time and they are super. I wish they had them in 5 colors so I could have them all. Stylish, yet comfortable. What could be better?

I wanted to love these shoes--I really did. But the toe box is simply not comfortable for someone with a high instep. I had hopes of being able to wear them long enough in order to stretch the leather toe box out to fit my foot, but after two days of wearing them in my house, my feet gave a proverbial cringe at the mere thought of even getting into them. Thus, I returned them to Zappos and will have to try another shoe. Also, these shoes give a very snug fit. I am a 7.5 and that's what I ordered. The fit was very snug, but I feel that if I had ordered an 8 it would have been too big. Honestly, if it would not have been for the toe box issue, these would have been very comfortable shoes.

I'm glad I didn't listen to the person who said they look like hip orthopedic shoes. They're just plain hip. I ordered them on the smaller size and when I first tried them on I panicked because they seemed to tight around the toe box. I'm wearing them now, expecting they'll stretch a bit. They are indeed snug in the front, but not uncomfortably so. In fact, they just feel secure. I love them! They're easy to walk in and the rubber soles totally eliminate any worry about slipping. A great shoe by my favorite shoe company. Thanks for making it possible for me to wear heels!

I got plenty of compliments on these very comfortable shoes. I wore them to a conference after only a couple of days and had a full day of happy feet. The end of the day was a little rough with some toe blisters from rubbing but I'm still enchanted with these shoes. I've had a couple moments of thinking that they'd be more attractive without the strap but the strap keeps 'em comfy.

I love my shoes. So cute and comfortable. I walk all day in them and my feet do not hurt. They look good with any styles. I would buy other shoes from the same maker.

Love these shoes! Very modern look. Nice heel, but easy to walk in. A truly comfortable shoe.
