I have a pair of Ariat shoes (similar style) and needed a pair of mules. I ordered these...same size...but they are sloppy across the top.

I can't fairly review these for length or comfort, because they ran so narrow in an 8M that I couldn't get my foot into them. These will be going back.

I bought this shoe in hopes of having something to wear with dress pants at work. But, as much as I love them, I had to send them back. My foot hit the heel in the wrong spot and I found it must frustrating. It felt like I was stepping on something inside my shoe every step I took a step. So, if you have sensitive heels, you might want to take into account that little "ledge" on the heel.

The shoes I had purchased for my wife had a flaw in them and I contacted the seller and they continued to ignore my request for a refund or a new pair of shoes she used to have a pair like these that lasted her quite a few years I guess they don't make them the same way anymore

Ariat used to use substantial leather in their shoe and boot construction. This mule, while beautiful and stylish, I found to be flimsy, especially the optional heel strap. Seriously? That heel strap is for looks only. If I were to use it, it wouldn't last a month. The mule runs slightly small. I found with each step, my heel hit the lip of the shoe bed. Little to no arch support. I've been looking for a substantial mule for some time and had thought this was it. NOT.

Good looking, but very little support or padding.

This 'toe cap' style isnt nearly as nice or comfortable as the old one piece style. I shamelessly own a bout 30 pairsof Ariats and reallywish Ididn't have to hunt Ebayfor the older ones.

Quality did NOT seem superior to less expensive brands and they were very uncomfortable, very stiff

This shoe looked very nice and expensive, but it just did not have the cushioning/support I need. I purchased a pair of Clark shoes that looked just like this pair but they had the comfort I need and cost way less.
I'd also recommend:

I have bought a lot of these over years and years. Since they changed hands, or manufacturers or whatever, they are junk. This is the 2nd pair I tried to see if they had their original quality, and No! It's not even real leather this time. Looks good in the photo, but I can see one scuff would put a hole in this fake leather. Too bad Ariat, you lost it.

Am I the only one old enough to remember when Ariat made decent shoes? These look like they came from Payless with their foam lining and cheap leather.
