The boots are great! Saddle soap applied every day or two really helped during the break-in period. I ordered my normal size, as ordering a half size down was too short in the past (cramming my toes too much) and it worked great for me. Good boot socks helped the fit and break-in time considerably. Since I have narrow feet, some adjustments were made on my part (additional comfort insoles) to help the fit and keep them from slipping. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to look good, be comfortable, or do both while riding a motorcycle ;)

Love these boots! I already have the 12R so I knew they fit 1/2 size large. Mine are a few yrs old and very comfy. These new boots are narrow and leather is stiff . I like them so much and am hoping they will stretch in width . The taller boot is very stylish . Shaft is slim but I have never had any problem with getting my feet into any style . This boot is made in USA and when I opened box the leather smelled wonderful. I already have 9 prs of Frye and hope these will be a keeper and #10. If you have narrow feet , these will fit great.

Beautiful boot, however very narrow foot and shaft. Wish they would fit better because they really are a well made, good looking boot. Sadly, have to return mine and next size is sold out.

They need to be a little broken in still, the strap that goes around the ankle digs in a little and gave me a blister. Hoping that wearing them down a little will help this. Fit is great though. Little tight on the calf but that stretched out really fast.

Good looking boot but the shaft is pretty tight for anyone with larger calves. I think it could stretch with effort or a visit to a local shoe repair, but I've found other boots that are a better fit and look better. These are probably best under jeans or a skirt - not the tucked in jeans look I'm going for.

I have been coveting Frye boots for a while, and finally took the plunge on these Harness 15R clearance boots. They arrived like two days later!
The boots do not disappoint; they are awesome, very comfortable for a new boot.
I have worn them every day for three weeks. The distressed khaki leather is just the right amount of neutral/funky, and I am very happy with them. They do require the straps on the side to pull on but once they are on, it's a good fit. I ordered a half size smaller and wear them with a medium or thin sock.

The boots definitely run large. I wear an 8 1/2, sometimes a 9. I ordered an 8 1/2 and it's much too big and very loose in the heel. The boots are lovely though. Unfortunately, Zappos is out of an 8. As soon as they have them, I'll be ordering a pair.

I was looking for a lower heeled boot to wear with jeans, leggings and longer skirts. This boot fills the bill nicely, and while it has a kind of "biker" edge to it, I have gotten a lot of compliments! I ordered a 1/2 size smaller based on what other reviewers had said, and they fit perfect. A little hard to pull on at first, but very comfortable once on, and no trouble to get off. I'm sure with more wear they'll be easier to pull on. I am very pleased with this purchase!

I got these from a different seller but wanted to review. These look beautiful, & are very beautifully made. I got the gray and just love the color, the shaft height, and especially the rubber soles. But they run too long and narrow, (my feet are narrow at the heels and wide at the ball of my foot). I could not wear them with out my toes and the sides of my foot being pinched and feeling crammed into a too narrow boot. I did feel they were too long in the toes, it almost looked like a "sideshow bob" type of clown boot with the extra long toes sticking out in front of my feet when on, and when wearing, I felt I could easily trip. I was very disappointed in that they looked so gorgeous, but were so unwearable. I was very sad I could not wear these beautiful boots.

I wanted to love these, but these boots were too snug on my calves. The fit in the foot was great though and they would have been so comfortable if it wasn't for the circumference in the calves. I have the Belted Harness Boots by Frye and these are much lighter and different than the Belted Harness.

I had to return these. They weren't supple or easy to walk in. The boot was rigid and hard and...well, in my opinion ugly and tight around my athletic calves (so take that for what it's worth!). Thank goodness for Zappos' return policy.
