Love these! The charcoal color is beautiful. They were slightly tight in the very beginning, but not enough to go up a size. You can tell it's the kind of tightness that will go away after you break it in a bit. I'm starting to develop an addiction to Frye's. I also have the Campus 14L in brown (also beautiful). Outside of work, these are the shoes I go to for everything...leggings, jeans, skirts, dresses...everything! These are 2 inches taller in the shaft than the Campus. I like the taller boots, so that's a bonus.

I originally bought these boots from Amazon. During shipping the boots were lost, and I was credited a refund. I found them here, and with free UPS shipping. I love these boots, they are so well made. No heel equals comfort.

I love my boots. Very comfortable from the moment I put them on. A little loose - fitting, but half size down was too snug with thick socks.

These are classics! But, I had to return them for another size. I agree with the previous reviewers the sizes on the harness are really variable and for this pair, I need to go down a half size, for others, up a half size!

I am thrilled with these boots! The leather is soft and beautifully weathered, they look terrific, and they feel just right. Size seems to run true, at least for me. I only wish the rest of life were like Zappos -- cheerful, efficient, quick, and full of beautiful boots!

Yahoo! Finally found the boots that are going to work for me. Passed them over initially because of the calf width listed in product description. However, as some options didn't pan out, I started trying more styles. Tried 4 pairs of this boot, all size 10. Each pair fit differently, with most being too big. Pair I'm keeping fits good through the foot with a bit of heel slippage. Shaft height is perfect for my 5'9" height, and calf width works for my 15" + calves! Did not like the tan color. Actual product darker than what was pictured on screen and had the distressed look. Black is smooth, beautiful leather. Boot seems very well made.

I ordered a size larger, as I normally do with my boots, since I wear socks with them. They still feel quite snug and narrow even with the thinnest socks.

I love these boots. I have drooled over them for three years. Finally decided to splurge. So glad I did! They are gorgeous! They smell wonderful. They are very well made. I'm sure my daughter will inherit these! I have Frye 12R Harness boots as well. And two pairs of Campus boots, but Harness are my favorite. The leather is just so wonderful. I ordered my regular size because my feet are sort of wide. They are perfect. Plus, Made In USA!

Been looking for a good boot since my 25-year-old cowboy boots bit the dust 4 years ago. In the meantime, I've bought good boots (Born), but they just don't hold up to my mostly-country-girl lifestyle. Received these and I've found my boot! Beautiful leather, sturdy, very well-made. I'm 60 next week and expect these to last the rest of my life! Hooray! The will move nicely between leggings and tunics, or skirts, to jeans and farm chores. Am a firm believer in buying better and less. I love shoes that become a long-term part of my life. These do run big. I'm an 8-8.5; in this boot a 7.5 fit perfectly. Zappos service is unparallelled.

I normally wear between a 9-9.5 wide, got the 9.5. Out of the box they were a tight fit, but they're leather and started stretching almost immediately. Shaft was exactly my calf measurement, but again, stretching happened and it's only day four. Another two days and they'll be perfect, I think. Compliments out the wazoo on these, mostly involving the words "smokin'!" and "sexy!" Also, good protection if you ride motorcycles. I was wearing them and dropped an 1100cc bike directly on my left ankle/foot (newbie mistake.) These boots are the reason that I got away with a slight sprain and some bruising instead of a broken ankle or worse. Thank heavens!

Awesome boot -- I trudge through snow with these puppies, they keep me warm and dry, give me a little height and look fab. Awesome with black tights. A shoe made for BA's, cowboys and bikers. If you're a half size order down. I'm a 7.5 and I bought the 7's, the fit perfectly. Don't buy if you have large calves, they're best on people with skankles.

Perfect boot, exactly what I was looking for, I'm a true 8 and ordered as such, fits like a glove. Shaft is a little slim fitting which is fine as my calves are on the smaller size but may be tight for some others.

I'd been eyeing these boots for years and when the Khaki Old Town color finally went on sale, I decided to take the plunge. I couldn't be happier! The distressed leather is so soft and supple. I like the extra length in the shaft of the boot a lot, as well. I'm just glad I ordered true-to-size. I have very high arches and I considered sizing down half a size after reading countless reviews. Had I done that, I never would have been able to get them on! They fit perfectly.

I love these boots! I was afraid they would be too narrow, as I have a wide forefoot, but the fit is perfect. Great with jeans, skirts, etc.

I have a pair of Frye Harness 12R in a 9, and they run a little big. I bought the Harness 15R in Old Khaki in the 8 . I absolutely love them. They fit perfectly. The heel is a little big, but if it were any smaller, I wouldn't be able to fit my foot in there. It also gives me the option to wear thick socks. I love, love this boot. I want to wear them every day and I have received so many compliments on them.

This boot should be in every woman's closet. I'm a 5 1/2 and that is the size I ordered. It fits perfectly. The day they arrived in the mail I took them on a 4 day trip to Vegas. I wore them all day every day and they felt great. Very versatile, I got the distressed chocolate. Love the look and have gotten many compliments already. Thanks, Zappos, for the speedy delivery. Beautiful! My hat's off to Zappos, again, for their wonderful bargains, and speedy shipping! I ordered these pups at like noon and had them waiting for me the next afternoon. In the middle of the terrible storms all over the east and west? I had to call them up and tell them how wonderful and incredible they are. Makes you not want to shop elsewhere, as I don't know of any other online shoe supplier that is as incredible. Thanks, to all of you hard and dedicated Zappos employees. Anyway boots are really beyond nice, a little roomy in length, but perfect in width. My feet run long and narrow. The shaft of this leather is really soft and not stiff at all, has like wrinkles and folds in the leather as kind of a worn in look, totally khaki, which is greenish taupe. I thought taupe, my husband said green? Depends on what light and how you view them. These will last for years, with some love and care.

Absolutely love these boots, but the Khaki Old Town color definitely has a green hue to it. Beautiful distressed coloring, just not what I was shopping for. I was also a bit worried about size because half the reviews said to order a half size down. I'm glad I ordered true to size for the Harness Style, because it is narrow at the toe and fit perfectly.

Love these boots. The leather pattern is absolutely gorgeous - rich in color and texture...like I've owned them for years. Leather softens up quickly. Width runs a little wide (normally I wear a C width but these Bs are roomier than normal). Look terrific with jeans.

My go to boot. Comfortable from day 1 and so good looking. I ordered my usual size and it fits better than any other boot I own. The more I wear it the better it looks!

Received these boots in the mail today, and am very pleased with them. I ordered my normal size 8, and they fit like a glove, even for my wider feet. I really am impressed with the quality and construction - well worth the money!

I was reluctant to shell out so much money on one pair of shoes, but I believe these boots are worth it. They are so comfortable and versatile, and so well-made. I have a feeling they will last a long time, making them more economical in the long run. I have muscular calves and these fit just right. I can wear them over jeans or with dresses or skirts. I can also comfortably spend a day walking around in them, and I live in NYC, so that says a lot.
