The maple leather Fifth Avenue cape toe shoe by Allen Edmonds is not only a beautiful product but incredibly comfortable. I am a physician and spend much of the day on my feet I have developed a Morton's neuroma in each foot. When wearing this shoe I experience absolutely no foot pain. They feel as good by late afternoon as they do first thing in the morning. I have 4 pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes and found ordering this pair directly from the company very easy. The Fifth Avenue cape toe shoe fits true to size and width in my opinion.

Great fit, beautifully soft leather, gorgeous dye color.

Have owned these shoes now for about 6 months and they are amazing. Very happy with the quality and build. They are now broken in and very comfortable. Could not recommend them more highly. Since buying this shoe, AE is my go to brand before looking at brands.

My husband will only wear Allen Edmonds shoes. After years as a professional businessman, he has found that the comfort, style and professional look that these shoes provide simply cannot be found elsewhere. We have recently ordered these shoes in the oxblood color (he has the other colors). The oxblood adds that polished look when he wears maroon or reddish colored tie with his suits. I would highly recommend these shoes... in fact we already have! Each of our sons own Allen Edmonds shoes as well!

Great shoe, slightly darker then advertised but I love it!

I am a shoe snob/fanatic/connoisseur. I am of the firm belief that you get what you pay for and in almost every situation it is worth it to spend more for quality. Anyway, the Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenue is the third style of AE that I have purchased. I first purchased the Park Avenue, then the Neumok. At first I thought the Neumok was the most comfortable pair of shoes ever. I love the unlined feel. However, I recently acquired a pair of Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenue in Walnut. Upon unboxing, I was taken aback at the sheer beauty of the shoes; the fine lines, quality leather, and excellent craftsmanship. I was further blown away when I tried them on. Granted, I haven't worn them extensively because I want to prolong the newness as long as I can, but they feel like sliding my foot into a glove. I can feel the cork conforming to my foot for the perfect fit. I know that these will be able to last me a lifetime and I like having a pair of shoes and dealing with a company that takes as much pride in its recrafting as in its original craftsmanship; not to mention the fact that Allen Edmonds is and has always been Made in America, which is very important to me. The Fifth Avenue is the perfect style for a versatile wardrobe. It works with a suit, casual chinos and blazer, or dressed down with nice denim. I would recommend this shoe, and Allen Edmonds in general to anyone looking for the highest quality shoe in a fairly affordable price range.

Excellent product. I wear a c-width and orthotics and this is the first shoe to properly fit. The leather arrives very stiff, but quickly molds to the foot for a custom fit. An excellent product crafted by American workers. It doesn't get better. I will definitely leave my European or other US crafted shoes behind and replace with Allen Edmonds.

The shoe is beautiful but too tight in the front. I order to fit I need another.25 of an inch in order for it to fit. Going up in size makes the shoe uncomfortable.

From the packaging to the incredible feel out of the box, these shoes are simply amazing. They are well worth every dollar. The craftsmanship is truly second to none. I am a believer and will only purchase AE shoes going forward.

Only wear Allen Edmonds dress shoes. Great quality and great comfort. Good looking shoes for dress or casual.

I bought these a few weeks ago and am very satisfied. Great last, nice soft leather. They fit so well the first day I took them on a four day business trip with a lot of walking and I don't have to break them in at all. Immediately became one of my favorite AE shoes, after the Strand.

This is my sixth or seventh pair of AE shoes, and they never disappoint. Very comfortable and look great right out of the box.

A friend recommended these shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box and have became more so in the week or two since receipt. I have spent 3x more on designer Italian shoes that aren't as comfortable as these and they aren't even top of the line within the brand. I will be buying more for sure.

These are high quality shoes. The brown color is sharp, and buffs up to a nice glossy shine. They wear real well, and I like the shape and toe. Feel nice on the feet. Certainly would recommend.

A good looking very comfortable shoe that is durable and works well in a formal or informal setting
