This was my first pair of real shoes that was not factory made. I have not felt anything like that before. After back surgery, this is the first shoe that has beat my hiking boots for long periods of standing. Simply couldn't believe it. I plan on purchasing more and am keeping a reserved amount for the next shipments of Bourbon colored shoes....if they come.

I added this shoe to my collection for the color. I have two other pairs that have stood the test of time very well. With proper care, they can last for many, many years. This pair felt comfortable almost from the first wear and get more and more with each subsequent one. No real "break in" period required other than getting the soles scuffed up so they aren't as slick on smooth surfaces.

This is the first pair of Allen Edmunds shoes I've owned. They are great and fit just fine.

Usually don't take time for reviews but in this case the company deserves my response. I understand what it means for true craftsmanship and any who can recognize and appreciate it will love these shoes! It's great to have a company around that still knows how to deliver quality.

These live up to the hype. Great quality, very comfortable and well made. I have this shoe in 3 colors and is my go to shoe for business casual and when I need to wear a suit.

As always, beside the great services that I received, this pair is another that I added to my AE collection. Great fit, true to its size, great color. Don't forget to use the AE conditioner to get the rich leather looks. Again, always a great pair from AE. This is my third Fifth Avenue pairs, got 2 black and now an Ox blood color, love it!

Another great pair of shoes from my favorite brand, Allen Edmonds. Sharp looking with a suit and comfortable for walking.

This is a beautiful shoe. Well constructed, excellent craftsmanship and quality materials. I gave this a 5 star on "Value" since I was able to purchase on sale. I'm old school and think it's crazy to spend several hundred dollars on a shoe.

Bought these for my son and he absolutely loves them! His comment was that they look great, but feel even better!

Just a great shoe. AE is top notch! The shoes fit properly, look great and are very well made.

Ordered the "Fifth Avenue" in midnight navy. Eagerly anticipated thier arrival; mainly out of curiosity [midnight blue]. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box, and somewhat perplexed with the color. It is "Deep" and rich...with some "Gray" [to my eyes]. This blue is worth having in the "Collection," as it commands a second and a third glance [by individuals complimenting this balmoral]. Fit is on par with the "Strand," "McAllister" and "Park Avenue"[my favs]! However-I would have been jubilant with some "Burnishing" on the toe and perhaps quarters [that's my taste]. Can't wait for my next pair of AE's!

The most comfortable and beautifully made shoes I have ever worn. Sizing produced no surprises,. Fits as I expected. Allen Edmonds will be the only business shoe I wear from now on.

Very comfortable from the start and I love the blue color I chose. My only disappointment is that the blue AE belt that I chose does not match the shoes. I wish you had a matching belt available!

Quality that you expect from AE. Great looking shoe in walnut, goes with slacks and jacket or jeans. Also own Yorktown and McAllister - all are comfortable and fit perfectly.

The Fifth Avenue is always in style. The form, fit and finish are all top notch, as is the quality and workmanship. Everything you would expect from Allen Edmonds...consistently GREAT mens dress shoes!

Really comfortable, excellent investment and value for money

These are my first pair of AE shoes after years of buying cheaper (in terms of both price and build quality) shoes; what a difference. I would have been happy with the quality, fit, and finish if I had paid full price (I bought these during the end of April sale). The shoes feel solid and the soles are thick, but the leather is supple enough (and the fit perfect) not to require much break in. I have never been so satisfied with a shoe purchase.

Love, Love,Love AE. Got the Fifth Ave. in Midnight Navy. Beautiful color & very classy. I have 9-10 pairs of AE shoes , and these like my other ones are so comfortable....like having pillows on your feet. I have received many compliments on these shoes and all my other AE shoes as well.
