Classically elegant shoe that in my opinion never goes out of style. The quality, fit and finish are second to none. For these reasons this shoe as all my shoes (18 pairs) are Allen Edmonds .

Bought this as my first pair of AE and I will not purchase anything else! I just sent these back to be re-crafted after about 3 years of constant use. Love the shoe and the fit and comfort is excellent.

I haven't availed myself of the recrafting program yet. But I can say that a good shoe shine and these shoes immediately garner positive attention from people ... like they were new!

I purchased on line for the first time. Shoes were a good fit. I have worn Allen Edmonds since the 70's.

The Fifth avenue shoe is a classic and has held up exceptionally well overtime. The shoes comfort separates it from the competition over both the short term and the long term. Great value!

Would recommend AE's to anyone. Quality, Service, and excellent customer service. Sent a pair to be refurbished. AE no longer had that style. They told me to pick from the styles they had for the price of refurbishing. Blew me away. I immediately bought a second pair at full price to show my appreciation. A great American Co.

The 5th is a true classic, fit for any occasion. I have been wearing Allen Edmonds for over ten years now and refuse to buy another shoe. Their customer service is outstanding, specifically when sending shoes back for repair.

I love the entire Allen Edmonds line. This shoe is one of my favorites.

This is a classic shoe, that will never go out of style and will last years. Like all Allen Edmund Shoes, they take some time to break in but form to your feet while you wear them.

I had some issues with heel slippage in the 12 D. I ordered another pair in 11.5 D, and I found the toe box to be unusually small. I had the 11.5 D's widened, and they now fit well.

Custom ordered in Brown Alpine Grain with Redenbach sole and poron insole. Add a coat of dark brown shoe cream before the first wear and you have a great addition to a navy suit. Brown is the new black.

I purchased my Park Avenues now 10 years ago, and they are the single best pair of dress shoes that I own. They were the compliment to my first "real" suit, and have never let me down. The construction of the shoe is top notch. The recessed stitching and full 360* welt are fairly rare to find these days in most dress shoes. The tight fit of the closed lace uppers is also first rate. I have a narrow foot, and finding a true "B" width is all but impossible. However, my 12-B Park Avenues fit like a glove. It's probably the first pair of dress shoes that actually fit well. They run true to my size. Bottom Line: Best quality, best construction, best fitting dress shoes I've ever owned.

This shoe is a great change from the Park. It fits just as well but gives that extra little punch with the toe details.

These shoes fit well, look great and are quite durable. I live and work in Manhattan and, despite pounding the pavement for two years, these shoes still look great.

The shoe seems pretty sturdy. Pros: 1)I needed a narrow fit and they make it. 2)sturdy elegant shoe. Cons: 1) needed to add a rubber to bottom as not to be slippery. 2) the tounge and lace came up to close to foot. 3) it's a hard leather shoe so can't be used for long periods of time.

Shoes are good: well made and look nice. Make sure to read up on leather soles so you can break them in. Unfortunately, the laces fell apart after only a few weeks of use, but other than that my experience has been stellar.

The 5th Avenue Quarter Brogue Oxford in Coffee Brown is stunningly gorgeous! The leather quality, comfort and fit are simply top notch. I was tempted to give it a 5 star rating but I gave it a 4 because of the leather sole. I used it only once from parking lot to office which is just a block away and the center of the left shoe seemed a little worn out. I will just have to baby this moving forward.

It needs more cushioning in the insole. The leather was dry.

This is my first pair of Allen Edmonds. Overall I am satisfied. I feel like they are good quality in craftsmanship, but I will say I was disappointed that there was parts around where the upper is sewn to the sole that had been poorly trimmed. There was excess material hanging off. Not a lot, but, I wouldn't expect that. They are also breaking in pretty slowly.

I really enjoy the shoes. Only issue I had is with sizing. I wear a 11.5 but the shoe seems to be big on me. I take it they must run a half size larger. As a result I would strongly recommend customers order a half size smaller on this specific shoe.

This shoe fits well and is comfortable. Nice business shoe.

Obviously, this is a high quality shoe. I expect perfection from this brand, especially at the price point. My shoes came with what appeared to be a line drawn in pen on each toe just below the cap design. I'm assuming it must have been a guideline for sewing the toe cap design on. It's not a big deal, but again, I expected perfection from this great American brand. Other than that hiccup, they broke in wonderfully and look excellent.
