I've been buying Allen Edmonds shoes for nearly 40 years and I still have a pair of shark skin shoes that easily exceed 30 years. Recently I made a short presentation in front of a group and afterward a well dressed man came up to me and thanked me for my comments and then said, "I really like your Allen Edmonds shoes." It was a pair of Fifth Avenue walnut in color. Shoes are still a big part of being well groomed.

I purchased the Park Ave in Dark Chili and the color is great. It goes very well with navy, charcoal and light grey dress pants as well as jeans. I get compliments all of the time. Also one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own.

The Fifth Avenue can be worn with almost anything: a formal suit, simple office slacks, or even jeans. I wear mine everywhere, and they have lasted both the test of time and ever-changing fashion trends. Easily my favorite and most worn shoe, considering the constant compliments I receive. Serious thumbs-up to AE on this one!

These are a great pair of shoes that fit well and have a timeless look. It took a few days for the shoes to break in but the fit was snug after that. Only issue I had is that the shoe leather scratches fairly easily so I need to be more careful about scraping the shoe against anything.

I bought a pair of brown Fifth Avenue oxfords around Christmas of 2014, and I am 110% satisfied with my purchase. They look even better after a little wear and they are such well made shoes, they will last forever. I get compliments on them where ever I go! I own a few other pairs of shoes from high end designers and AE is not only the best value, but the most comfortable and sharp looking of the bunch. Their customer service is also unparalleled. Buy AE and you will not be disappointed!

This is a great dress shoe! I definitely like the balmoral lacing style as it adds a bit of class to the shoe. The perforations on the cap toe are a nice differentiator as well.

Solid shoe. Has held up well and looks great. I polish them regularly, and they look like new.

The dark chili hits the sweet spot between dark brown/burgundy and tan, making it extremely versatile. My narrow, flat feet fit comfortably, a rarity for me.

These shoes rock, especially in walnut! Super comfortable, great style and compliments a few times a week. Definitely worth the buy and works perfectly with blue.

Conservatively classic with slacks and shirt up to a suit. Per the ancient "Dress for Success" book, a toe-cap is mandatory in your arsenal.

I currently own a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenues and had been looking for a cordovan colored shoe for some time. I saw these I ordered them based on the size of my current shoes. Shoes arrived quickly. The finish and workmanship was outstanding. I tried them on a but they just didn't fit as my currnt AE shoes. The side of the shoe was higher and rubbed the bottom of my ankle. I had to return them and after discussing the return with an extremely helpful customer service rep I learned the shoes were built on different last. I now know to have my feet properly measured before making a purchase. Overall, the shoes looked and initially felt great. But in the end, the cut was different and I couldn't wear them.

Well worth every penny. The leather is soft and the shoes fit perfectly.

The Dark Chili color is unlike any other dress shoes and the Fifth Avenues are by far the most comfortable dress shoes I own.

I purchased a pair of Fifth Avenues in Merlot. The Merlot color is absolutely beautiful and goes perfectly with my suits. The fit and quality of the shoes is also excellent and required minimal break-in time.

Upon taking my Fifth Avenue Capped Toe Merlot color out of the box I observed that it was perfectly done. As I wore it throughout the day, the shoe was very comfortable. I am extremely satisfied with all my Fifth Avenues, and Park Avenue shoes.... I would and have recommended Allen Edmomd Shoes, and will continue to do so......

Great and beautiful shoe. I get compliments on it all the time. Only downfall is that it is difficult to find the right fit. The 5 last may not fit some people.

I live in the Pacific NW and need Dress shoes that will endure the winters and rain here. The Fith Avenues I received fit perfectly out of the box and look great, understated but enough pizzazz. Perfect in the boardroom or formal events. The Dainte (sp?) soles are great they proved excellent protection from the elements and look great as well. This is my 4th pair or AE's, and I am continuously impressed with the quality and service. The shoes look good and last, definitely worth the investment. Life is too short to wear cheap shoes. In fact given the re-crafting, these shoes are actually a better value than lesser retail cost shoes at most men's stores.

These are great, traditional shoes for business dress. The Fifth Avenue is the tenth pair of Allen Edmonds shoes which I have purchased. I have had many pairs recrafted over the past ten years, and I must say that these shoes are an excellent value.

When you purchase a pair of dress shoes you figure it will take some time to break them in so your feet aren't sore. Not so with Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenue oxfords. From the day I started wearing them it was as if they were tailor made to fit my feet, no rubbing on the back of my foot, and no aching on my upper arch even after wearing them for the entire day. I have bought other brands of oxfords but after a few hours of wearing them the pain was excruciating. Since making my first purchase a couple of months ago I recently went on line and purchased a pair of Park Avenue oxfords, they have the same quality of workmanship and comfort. I would highly recommend that anyone who is looking for style, comfort, quality and a ever lasting look that they purchase a pair of Allen Edmonds shoes!!!!

I have had multiple pairs of AE shoes over the years. My absolute favorite is the Fifth Avenue Cap Toe Oxford. The last fits my foot perfectly and I just love the way it looks. I would call it "understated sophistication". The shoe has what I would call the "right weight". It is just dressy enough to compliment a nice suit but not so heavily tooled as to dominate the total look. I have had the shoe re-crafted and it came back looking like new. Shoe trees keep them looking great, as well as letting them have time to breathe after each wearing. They are a great investment and built to last.

I bought a pair of 5th Aves in black, 13EEE. The right shoe had an odd pinching by the ankles, likely due to my foot being really wide with a high instep. I was hoping that when the leather stretched out a bit it would enable me to tighten the top lacing and pull the pinch flat but unfortunately it did not improve. AE customer service quickly exchanged my shoes, and the replacement I got, while having a few quality issues like small scuffs and stitching that looks fuzzy, is less "pinchy." Seems like the 5th Ave just isn't made for my foot. I can't fault AE for that, as the Strands I bought later fit perfectly. My only knock on this shoe is that, likely due to increased sales, the quality dipped a bit. If I had several other pairs to back-fill my collection, I would have returned them again and asked for a shoe with fewer imperfections, but overall, happy with the purchase and process.

This is my second pair of AE shoes and I couldn't be happier. The simple cap toe with some minor detailing make these shoes great for any situation. I regularly wear them to work. I have seen no major degradation in the shoes. Definitely recommend them to all.

The leather on this shoe is very soft and the craftsmanship is top notch. I do know with Allen Edmond shoes i have to buy a slightly wider shoe compared to others. I normally wear an 8 D but ordered this in 8 E and it is perfect. This shoe works with both business casual and formal attire.
