These jeans are perfect, for my tall, lean teenager. He really likes the color too. The denim is very lightweight, but works for now, I'm a bit worried they will wear out too quickly.

Ordered two pairs, same size. Overhaul and Silver Fox colors. The Overhaul pair is still perfect, months later. The Silver Fox was and inch shorter and tighter. They're still good pants, I just gave them to my brother.

I'm a short guy around 5'6 and Zappos is the only place that I've ever seen 29 length jeans. They fit well and feel good. Not too skinny and not too baggy. I plan on buying more of these.

Can't beat these for the price. I'm thin framed (5' 10" 140 lbs), and these fit great. Slim fit, but not too tight. Wider leg opening lets me wear boots with no problem. Hopefully they will hold up!

Best fitting jeans I ever bought. They make your butt look good and they actually come in a 36 inseam! Very hard to find in stores for us tall guys. Only negative is that the material is kind of rough. I prefer a softer denim.

I have always been a 501 guy but thought I would try these. I am 6' with a slim build but too old for the super skinny ones. I like the way these ride a little lower and conform to the butt. The denim does feel a bit thinner than I am used to with 501s and I hope they wear as well. Per other reviews I have been careful to wash/dry them on light settings.

They're Levi's, good solid jeans. These jeans are my everyday jeans, however I like other brands when I want something dressier. For me, the 514 slim seems to be on the "roomier" end of the slim fits out there. As with all jeans, YMWV based on your body.

I have many Levis and these are another pair to add to my jeans. Thinner than other Levis but will be nice during summer days and not too thick of a denim.

Nice jeans for the money. A lot more comfortable then more expensive designer jeans I've owned.

Great jeans. Fit true to form. Good pigmentation - make sure you like the 514 style before purchasing. The 514's have a narrow leg, and will not appear baggy.

I'm tall and lanky and have a hard time finding good jeans. I god a pair of these in 32/34 and they fit surprisingly well. Low waist, no extra material, snug fitting but not tight. The actual material is a little thinner than most of the other jeans I wear, so longevity might be a little shorter with these.

The jean is tight on my laps. So I would rather go for waist 40 and inseam 32.

These jeans fit pretty well. True to size in the waist but I'd recommend ordering a longer inseam than you usually do though as they do shrink a bit. However, I did order another pair of these exact same jeans in 3D Coated. Once I washed them, one time in cold water and didn't put them in the dryer, they shrank so much in both the length and waist that I can't wear them.

The leg length is shorter than my 501s in the same size, but everything else about them is great.

Very comfortable pair of jeans. Was looking for something between skinny and regular straight fit. These fit the description. Wish they were a slight bit slimmer but that's a personal preference. The 511's are great as well if you can fit into them.

Awesome fit. Very soft for jeans and rides perfectly. A little loose in the rear, but that may be my problem. Material is slightly thinner than normal jeans I'm used to, so these are more for casual wear than outdoor work, but still a great pair of jeans.

Levi's are always a classic. This pair was no different in quality and sizing - even with buying online. The pics Zappos have are dead on how they fit if that's possible. I gambled a little but fit was right on the first time. Even if it wasn't, the return/exchange process is the fail safe at Zappos! I gave it an overall 4 out of 5 simply because I was hoping to get a little better price on them - this is the same as at the Mall. Of course not having to go to a "mall" makes up for it.

Perfect fit. I have chicken legs and the 511 are too skinny. This is a grown up jean, nice comfortable and classic.

Love these jean. I like the cut. Not baggy, but not a skinny jean. I like the color/finish variety as well. They do wear out relatively quickly. They rarely last more than a year. What happened to Levi's heritage of being dungarees for miners?

I bought my son 2 pairs of these at a department store and he really liked the style. He is a college student and lives in his jeans so I bought him two more pairs at Zappos. He still loves the style of these jeans and not too baggy, not too tight, great assortment of colors. The only issue he's had is that within 4-5 months the denim in 3 of the 4 pairs developed a hole in the front near the zipper. He does not low ride his jeans to the point where the hole would be caused by stress on the seams, but the denim just doesn't seem to be as sturdy as that in some other brands. I've put a denim patch; (iron-on kind) behind each of these areas and they seem to be holding, but he did feel pretty uncomfortable with the location of the failure!

I like these jeans they don't really shrink or anything - my personal preference I will probably go down to size 28x29 since I'm a short and thin guy and size 29x30 seemed a little big at the waist.

Very slim and stylish while still leaving plenty of room in the legs. However, they're not nearly as comfortable as the 505 Straight Leg that I previously wore, mainly due to the 514 having much less room in the crotch. Briefs or boxer briefs are a must with these jeans, unless you want your goods pushed uncomfortably to one side. The denim material is also thinner on these pants compared to the 505, giving them a more fashionable look, but sacrificing warmth in the process.
