I've enjoyed wearing Levis jeans for a long time. I've always worn size 35 and on my recent order they were way too small. Zappos took care of me and quickly exchanged them to a size 36, which seem to fit the same as my other size 35's. Unfortunately, Levis have skimped on the quality over the last many years and I'm looking for an alternate brand that will last longer. Every pair of Levis end in the same 6 month or less fate for me. The same belt loops break and then the crotches rip out. It's sad that this company's quality has gotten so cheap that they just don't last like they used to.

Th product is great and Levi has been around for a very long time. Just wish the product what not so costly.

Levi's quality control is slipping. Nothing against Zappos but 2nd pair of levi jeans I've gotten in past year and the same belt loop (left back)pulls out from bottom of pants after several wearings.

I didn't cut the little plastic tags that attach the information tags to the jeans. I pulled the tags off and it separated the blue jean material apart enough to see a hole through the pants. I have three pairs of Walmart jeans that lasted me 7 years, and I buy one pair of Levies "big and tall" and it shows stress from ripping the little tags off. Not sure how I feel about these jeans. They look great on me but durability is important to me.

I finally brought Levi's Jeans after many years (25 or so). They are comfortable, well made, and good looking. However: there are many other jeans out there just as good that are much less expensive.

I've had several pair of these exact 550 jeans for many years and loved them. So easy choice when time to buy a replacement. But...The zipper on the new jeans is about 3/4 in shorter than on the old jeans. The new jeans are shorter in the rise and sit lower on the hips. Not as comfortable as anticipated. Don't know if shortcomings due to style modifications or the mfgr's effort to scale back to save a buck. End result for me is very disappointing.

Really good average pants at an average price. Best part is the service, not the jeans. I got my order the very next day with no charge for shipping.

The waist on these feel smaller than the other pair I have - same style.

I love the fit. But the fact that they shrink when put in the dryer made them completely unusable and a waste of money.

Great Service as always with Zappos, but Levi's is slacking on quality control. A belt loop was missing. May be a little problem but I need my loops.

Wish the store carried more of a boot cut jean.

I wear a lot of 550's. These fit looser at the waist than my store bought ones. It may be the color but these are a thinner material than other 550's as well. They also have a very obvious 'checker board' pattern to the weave. It's not a fine weaved denim. I've worn them once and they've already stretch out. Quality problem?

Did not fit. Buying anything but shoes and belts ..I just go to the manf. website, at least it is in stock. Used to be a great shoe co. Still is, but everything else as issues.

Bought two pair of these jeans. One pair was defective and i had to return it. Zappos was very good about quickly replacing them.

When will they start making size 35 waist 40 inseam once again in Black? I could really use at least five pair.

Casual Fridays

I wanted a regular fit.they fit ok when I first put them on but were falling down an hour later.I wish I could bring them back for another pair. I will need suspenders to keep my clown pants up

Was at a restaurant on a business trip and when I slid into a booth, the y caught and the zipper broke. Had to sneak back to My hotel room. I'll be returning them.

The reason the overall grade is not well, is because I'm looking for Levi jeans that I once wore that were heavier weight and more durable in wearing. the ones I recently purchased are not as near the material weight I felt they should be.

Don't buy this product! Poor quality the knees of these jeans were already wearing out within 2 week. I use them for work so I am a bit hard on them but to have the knees going bad in two weeks is not acceptable.

The Belt loops broke, tore off, after only 1 month of use. two washings, and boom. and not just 1 pair, i have 4 of thses, and all 4 have either broken loops or are showing signs.

Wanst thrilled with the fit... too baggy in the backside

Made from a much thinner and lighter denim than I am used to seeing in the same style of Levi's that I purchased in the past. Dislike.
