Since the redesign of the 501's I have been buying the 550's. They fit well and are comfortable. Bought here because Zappos has such excellent customer service, policies, and prices!

Tall thin women take note! I struggle finding jeans that have a nice line for a woman with 31" waist and 36" inseam and big thighs. I am strong and the few women's jeans I can find are just too tight in the legs. (I won't even touch the topic of ridiculous pockets in women's clothes!) These fit the bill. Just a little loose while showing off the bum and allowing me to sit of the floor and pet the dog without feeling pinched. I wish they were not tapered, but it is slight enough that I don't notice. And the waist is low enough that they look nice with my shirt tucked in! Thanks Levi's and of course, Zappos for being such a wonderful place to purchase from! Sizes are a bit wild so if one does not fit, another of the same size might so I usually buy more than one and send the small or big ones back. That is unfortunate for Levi's. Of course, the thinner fabric is a constant complaint, but as long as you forget the jeans of the past, these are thicker than any woman's jeans so I won't complain!

Great fitting jeans, made with a demin of good weight, not the lightweight fabric used in some jeans. Great all around pair of jeans.

I have worn 550's for years and really like them. DXL gets them to me in my size.

the color of the jeans in the picture is WAY lighter than the actual jeans which were delivered. the jeans were very, very dark blue. but it’s a pair of jjeans… they will lighten up eventually.

The light sandwash color is a full inch smaller in the waist than the medium blue in the same style. Levi's inconsistencies are getting tiresome.

They look good but they will murder your crotch. Get the like 80 sizes bigger than you wear to use to pockets and protect your ability to reproduce.

Everything was okay except they weren't dark stonewash.

I ordered the "Stretch" version but the non-stretch version came so I had to return. No big deal.

Bought 29-30 dark stonewash. Color was great and material felt very good. Did not fit as was too short waisted.

The thing I realized recently is that the quality of Levi's has gone done. I saw a review that mentioned the number of loops has diminished. That's the worst part, but the material has gotten thinner too. Go back to what you were Levi's.

These are very comfortable and well made, but, according to my wife, very dad pants and unflattering.

Fit in the waist perfect but inseam is long. I can usually wear 28 to 29 without being hemmed. Had to have about 3 inches cut off these and I ordered a 29".

I've been wearing Levis 550s for years, but they're no longer true to size. Older pairs in this size fit me fine, as do jeans from other brands, so I don't think it's me. These used to be my favorites.

I had to return these. They are the same size as my favorite pair of jeans and the same model # and brand but are too small.

The picture of the "light stonewash" appears to be a very light blue color. The pair I received do not match that picture. They are a much darker blue than what is pictured. Disappointed, but I'm keeping them because I needed another pair of the regular color anyway.
