Had to exchange these jeans due tio fit. I've been buying 505 straight fit for years and admit I have gone up a size or two. I found the pair I ordered to be more like hip huggers. I happened to have 3 other pairs i bought over the past three years and compared the new ones to my old pairs. It seems Levi's has decided to remove about about an inch or more from the seam above the pockets and the waist. I wound up trying pairs locally also and found the same problem. If you check the other reviews, you will find a few more reviews stating the same.

I bought two pair of the these pants for my husband who said that they seem to actually ride way lower than all of his other pants, which are exactly like these. (too big in the waist). On the other hand, Zappos was so amazing with their shipping policy!

I haven't heard whether the gift fit, but I do know that the shipping was incredibly fast. And when I discovered I had made an error in my order, and had to reorder, the replacement had arrived before I returned home from dropping the wrong one off at the UPS store the next day. Wow! Love Zappos shipping! Please disregard the rating stars since I haven't heard about the gift's fit yet.

Although Zappos provided extremely fast shipping and outstanding service, I am extremely disappointed in these jeans. They are nothing like the last few pairs I have purchased. The rise is very short. The material is thin. I've been wearing nothing but the 505 jeans for years and these are nothing like the ones I have. I will not be purchasing them again.

There's no advantage to buying from your site price wise opposed to going to any one of a dozen discount stores (e.g. Ross). Your prices are simply too high.

These are not the Regular fit 505's. Levi's changed their styling recently and dropped the Regular fit altogether. These are designed to fit below the waist and are lower in the rear. I returned them because I found myself constantly pulling them up in the back.

Very disappointed with these jeans. I've been wearing Levi 505's for 10 years and the sizing is longer consistent. Buy two pairs of the same jeans in the same size and you'll get two pairs that are labeled the same and fit very differently. Different rise, inseam, snugness. Not worth the trouble to fish through five pairs to get one that's right.

Good thing Zappos has such a generous return policy. I don't know if Levi's is cutting these different or if the quality has gone so far down hill since going overseas; I believe it is a combination of both. Each pair fit and looked different but all seemed to hold to a single principle: too much fabric in the ankles so they swoosh, not enough in the thigh so they look painted on, and too much fabric in the seat to create a, shall we say, provocative cut. All pair also has discolored tags, like maybe they sat around too long after the shrink-wash at the plant to cause mildew. Uneven fading around the seems, too. Same story in retail stores, so no grudge against Zappos. I just won't buy Levi's until they cut these proper and consistently.

Inseam is actually 31 not 30 and the rise is too short. This is noticeably different from the other 33x30 pair in the same order.

As some other reviewers have noted, these do not fit like traditional Levis 505's. Ironically, they fit a lot like 501's. Why this is, I do not know, but when I measured these and compared them to 505's that I already own these have a much smaller front and back rise like 501's. Also the inside tag says "straight fit" rather than "regular fit." Some people may like them this way, but for those of you who are accustomed to traditional 505's, these aren't for you. Also the item description measurements for this item are inaccurate.

The description of this pant says "16 inch rise" (crotch to top), but it is actually 14 inches. So they ride like a pair of teenager hip-huggers. I was an idiot and washed them first so I cannot return them. I ordered a second pair to make sure it did not happen in the wash. The second pair was a 14 inch rise right out of the package. I will return the second pair. I won't be back. Bye, bye.

Sizing is off--too large. Styling is awful. Color is dirty looking. Levi's does not make, or does not have them made, like they used to. Fit so loose, will be good for fishing.

I am very disappointed with this product. I found that I didn\'t like the straight fit. I was hoping it was identical to their regular fit which has a slightly higher rise and a bit of a taper to the legs. It is a shame that Levi\'s doesn\'t offer some of the same great products that they had in the past. It seems that they no longer offer a wider color choice in their 505 line. They\'ve narrowed their demographic and evidently are trying to lose a lot of loyal customers. Too bad.

My son is a very tall and slender young man. We searched many local department and discount stores trying to find jeans that fit...at some point we gave up on affordability if we could just find the right size. We were thrilled to find Levi's in his size (30/36) at a very affordable price on Zappos. We've ordered 4 pairs so far and plan to order more. The fit is loose but not baggy, and they are made of Levi's quality denim to last!

Great fit! So hard to find a 35 waist in the stores. So glad to find at Zappos online...I will be back!

Levi's is great and trusted name in jeans - how can you go wrong?! I have to order jeans for my 6'5" son because I don't have time to search for the one or two pair stores stock in his size. Zappos delivers in usually one, sometimes two days and it's no hassle returning items that don't work out for any reason.

Just a little on the skinny side, particularly in the legs, but good looking and just what I was looking for. The color looks great too.

Of course the Zappos service was tremendous and my 21 year old son liked the jeans. This was a win-win!

These are just as I thought, straight, slightly skinny jeans. I like the dark rinse.

Bought them for my husband and they were an excellent fit and the quality was great. And Zappos delivers with lightning speed.

Levi's is the only brand that comes in a length of 29 any more - so I purchased two different washes for him to try. One was perfect, but for some reason the other wash was about 2 1/2" longer in length - possibly incorrectly marked I guess. The other pair is perfect and we will most likely order more.

I cannot say enough positives about Zappos. Ordered the Levi's 505 Straight Fit 2 pair. Very reasonable price, the fit was 100% perfect. They shipped and were delivered immediately I am a very satisfied customer with Zappos and would recommend them to anyone.

Zappos' price on these jeans is the same as Levi's but shipping is free and delivery is much faster. Way to go, Zappos! The product is good. Fit is true to size and quality is OK. The fabric is not as heavy as in the past but, nevertheless, good. I have found sizing to be consistent, all four pairs (different colors) fit the same.
