These jeans are for my husband. Levi's fit him the best and look the best of other brands. He is very hard to fit and this is all we get anymore in the line of blue jeans or black jeans.

Bought these for my son. He really liked the fit. I think they were a good buy and a quality product as well!

As others have noted, the current offering of "straight fit" feels like a slightly shorter rise compared to the "regular fit" of a couple years ago. Still, the jeans are comfortable, and fit is so personal, you should try a pair. Zappos great return policy makes it a no risk affair.

Zappos is terrific! They have always sent things fast. They always send just what was ordered. When I have had a return, it was easy-no cost and timely reimbursement. Zappos is a great company to do business with.

I was tired of searching through piles of jeans for my size,tramping the malls, etc. one day shipping? Very good!

I ordered these for my husband as an early Christmas gift. We were happy with how fast they arrived and with and quality and fit. They are what we expected and will order more items later.

My husband likes the fit of Levi 514 slim-straight jeans and this was his first try of the 505's. He liked the fit of the Rinse finish ones a lot but had to go one inch down in waist size to get the right fit. (Run true to length though.) But the Black finish ones were too baggy even in the smaller waist. This is definitely a Levi cut he'll buy again. And since age sometimes help for buying context, he is in his sixties. So these work equally well for mature guys as younger ones. But as heads up, you may find finish affects fit.

Excellent quality. True to size. Makes me wonder why I've been buying $100+ jeans for my husband all this time. Highly recommend these!

Finding the perfect size jeans is not easy because most stores don't carry small sizes. Thanks to Zappos, we don't have to look anywhere else for the perfect size jean.

I have been looking for these jeans for my husband in this unusual size (35x32) for a long time, and thank goodness I got on Zappos website...the 3 pair I purchased are perfect, and so is the fit! This is a tough size to find, and it is not an irregular cut. But I have never been disappointed buying here at Zappos. Fast, free shipping and returns. I have been buying all my gifts right here, and everyone will get exactly what they want for Christmas. Love it!

Not much to say other than they were Levis and they were exactly as advertised - no surprises.

The 505's are excellent. Zappos had all sizes including 35 inch waist, almost never available in stores. They also did their next day delivery magic for free again.

These are useful if you're looking to find a happy medium between loose and skinny. Not so big that they look like astronaut pants, and not so tight that they give off the appearance of being painted on. I've been resisting the trend of skin-tight jeans for a while, and this purchase was a means of acknowledging the popular fashion of the day, while at the same time conveying my personal preference for breathing room and comfort. This particular color is compatible with a wide array of accompanying garments, and like any good pair of jeans, shortly into your first wear, they'll feel like they've been a lifelong staple of your wardrobe.

Overall an excellent first purchase. The ordering was easy, the shipping was quick. I bought these jeans to replace an exact same pair I had bought at a store. Overall, these jeans are pretty close but not an exact match. The fabric is a little thinner than in-store 505 jeans and the in-seam is 1/2 inch longer than the same in-seam in store. But still, for 40 bucks delivered from the comfort of my PC and still not bad.

I wear Levis often and knew what to expect. They are the best. Every time I purchase on-line with Zappos I am amazed at their service. You rate a big 10. Thanks!

For me, Levi's 505 Straight Fit jeans (used to be regular fit) fit me better than any other brand I have ever tried. The quality of construction seems to be as good as anything. The fabric feels a little thinner than in the past. That may be a plus for comfort, but time will tell if durability has been sacrificed. Levi's and Zappos have provided a wider range of sizes than most, so I was able to order the waist and inseam that fits me properly.

A great pair of denim jeans for everyday tasks. They are durable, not much fading after several runs through the wash, and with the free shipping from Zappos makes this pair of jeans a great buy.

You can't go wrong with a classic Levi. My husband does not want "fancy or baggy drawers" & he wants a jean that is not pre-washed. If your husband is a jean wearing man, then these Levi's are perfect. So many colors to choose from but he went with "rinse."

The fit was perfect, the service was overnight--what more can you ask for? Excellent.
