Ordered oak2 - the color is very light compared to the picture. The footbed is hard . I would have returned them ,but the crepe sole picks up everything and even just wearing them on carpet they get dirty . Unable to clean sole enough to send back. They are very narrow, but can be stretched a bit to allow for toe comfort.

Wow. Normally wear a 10 in Clark’s but these felt an entire size too small. Unfortunately back they go.

This is a really attractive "kickin' around" boot that I expected to be all about comfort. Sadly, it was not. While the supple, unreinforced suede upper made for a fantastic, ultra-flexible feel around the ankle, the shoe itself was downright uncomfortable. First, although the sole has a small heel pad, the remainder of the sole has no padding at all. None. Nada. You'd think that the ample gummy shoe bottom would lend at least some shock absorption value, and it may--but I'll be darned if I can tell the difference between this and walking on a hardwood floor. Second, the toe box is stiffly constructed, so that nice supple feel of unreinforced suede around the ankle stops there. In addition, the toe box is shaped in that characteristic "women's shoe" way that forces your lateral three toes into painful submission. It makes for a cute, feminine look, but at the price of comfort, I'd opt for a more androgynous shape that actually resembles a human foot. All in all, I felt that Clark's dropped the ball with this one by sacrificing comfort for style. However, I was very impressed with another pair of tan suede desert boots that I tried at the same time--the Born Nigel chukka. These are actually men's boots, and the smallest size they come in is a men's 8, which translates to a women's size 10. I'm generally a women's size 9, but I'm seriously thinking about ignoring the extra 1/2" in length and keeping them anyway. Holy, moly are they comfortable!

Run very narrow. Medium width usually works fine for my wide feet, but these leave no room for my little toes. Also - no arch support or cushioning. All-in-all, very uncomfortable for a full day’s wearing. Very disappointed

Meh. Will return an purchase at my local Clarks store. These are much narrower and stiffer than the ones sold at Clarks. I compared them to Clarks Originals from the Clarks store and the sizing/logo is slightly off. Not sure if these are a dupe of just manufactured in another country.

I used to count on Clarks for comfortable shoes. These are narrow, stiff and have no arch support or cushion. So disappointed with these.

They are cute but not comfortable. The first time I wore them, I got a blister on the back of each heel. Then as I walked it was uncomfortable on my toes. I have been quite disappointed.

Although other reviewers remarked that this shoe had no arch support, I took a chance . sorry to say I will be returning. Too uncomfortable for me. The rest of the show is exactly was what I was looking for .(:

These are the best looking chukkas that I tried on this year. I wanted SO badly for them to be "the one" but, they just are not comfortable. They really rise in the back, and rub against my leg. I can't stand it!

I was really looking forward to wearing these boots. When I opened the box, I was psyched. The distressed leather looks really good. But then...slipping my foot into the shoe was the first red flag. It does not feel like nice soft leather; it's rather stiff and hard on the foot. Then I took the first step. The shoe is very uncomfortable and hurt my foot. As nice as they look, there's no way to break these shoes in and hope for the best. Unfortunately, they're going back. The search for the perfect, hip, supportive walking shoe continues.

Lovely shoe, weird fit. It was narrower than medium, or seemed to be. It was low and narrow instep. Extremely uncomfortable. I would return it, but tossed out the box already.

These boots are very cute with jeans, but they aren't very comfortable. They have no arch support whatsoever. They are difficult to get on. I had to go up a size and while the fit through the heel is okay, the fit through the toes is very tight. I'm not sure if I'll keep them. I can't wear them for long periods or not for a lot of walking. Cute shoe - poor design!

I was so excited about these but was very disappointed. First, they're huge. I'm typically a size 5.5 or 6 in heels and flats. I ordered a size 6 (anticipating a little extra room for socks), but after trying them on, I should have gone with a 5 instead! It was about an inch past the end of my toes. Additionally, the high cut heel of this shoe is very uncomfortable. Even with socks I could feel the edge digging into my skin. Not at all what I had hoped for :(

Ugh - these look so great, but they are so uncomfortable! The sole is flat and formless, like walking on cardboard, and the instep wrinkled and cut painfully into my foot as I walked. My usual size felt like it might have been a bit big, but I can't imagine a smaller size feeling better. These look so great, though; very disappointed!

The best things about these boots are how they look and that they are lightweight. Unfortunately my feet hurt if I walk in them for more than 30 minutes and the fit is strange. I normally wear 8 or 8.5 and ordered the 8. They were too big in the heel but fit otherwise. I tried a 7.5 and they fit in the heel but were way too tight in the toes.

The shoes are a little small but the biggest problem is the suede is super stiff with no flexibility. The back of the shoe is high enough that it then scrapes uncomfortably.

I though I will be so comfortable but the true is I got two size bigger and still don’t fit me I can returns because I were ones ? and I never were them again ,

So disappointed!! These hurt my feet to put them on even though I ordered half a size up. I love the style but I'm returning because they are just painful to wear.

Cute boot, but very tight and snug. Bought a half size up knowing I would wear them with heavier socks, but they were way too tight (short AND narrow) without the socks - unusual for Clarks. Leather felt like it wouldn't break in and would easily show marks and scratches. Returning and looking for something different.

I loved my Clarks desert boots way back in the 1970's and have wanted a pair for several years. Finally went for it. Though i wore a size 7/37 back then i know i now wear a size 8 or 8.5 /39. But the fit is off compared to other brands of shoes and boots. I felt that going up half a size or even a full size would not haved helped because they were just an odd fit. Although i wonder about the whole deal because they were on sale and notices on shipping and arrival came thru Amazon. ( that is when i found out Zappos is owned by Amazon, but in the past i have always received notifications through Zappos site. )They are beautiful boots and look soft enough to easily stretch and mold to the foot. But they actually got worse. By the end of an hour of walking around a store I had to hobble back to the car where a size 8 Nike air was stowed away- I guess for emergencies like this one. I am extremely disappointed!! They fit my daughter- a size 7 well enough that she wanted them so gave them to her rather than exchanging. The experience has also cured me of ordering anymore shoes online. Thank you Zappos/Amazon for this at least!

I have a narrow foot but these felt very tight. I did not like them and returned them.
