I love the look and fit of these boots. Nice roomy toe box and excellent arch support. They do look like clogs when you have them on, but I like that ! Felt true to size, and unlike some of the other reviewers I think the leather is soft enough. No chafing for me.

I never expected these boots to be as comfortable as they are. I can wear them all day and walk in them too and my feet feel great at the end of the day! They are cute as well and I receive a lot of compliments on them!

I love these boots! I got them in Brown, which is a beautiful color true to the picture. I plan to purchase in black as well! They don't fit exactly as I thought; the ankles are loose not fitted as expected, but I actually like it better!

I have been wearing Dansko Professional clogs for years and love them. Since I am a teacher I'm on my feet walking around all day, I need comfy shoes with good support. These boots fit the bill! I wore them all day the very first day, and they were extremely comfortable. This boot, like all Danskos, are designed with plenty of wiggle room in the toes and heel, so expect your foot to slip up in the back as you walk. It might feel a little weird at first, but if you are used to wearing clogs, the fit is similar.

Love the look! Awesome shoe. Stylish and practical. Unfortunately, for me the tapered heel doesn't give me the stability I need being a pronator. I wobbled around a bit too much and I know it would aggravate my plantar fasciitis. If you don't tend to walk on the insides or outsides of your feet you will love them! I would like to see a wider heel like in the other Danskos I have.

I ordered these shoes for my daughter who is a stage manager, she needs comfort, non-slip and quiet. She wanted a modest heel. These boots did all of that and look good besides and they are light as well.

I love Dansko clogs, and assumed their boots would be as comfortable, long-lasting, and adorable... and they are. I wear the Scout with dresses and skirts; they give a work outfit a hip vibe. Plus, I walk all day in them with no foot pain. They fit true to size (but do feel the way clogs feel); I wear them with tights, no socks, and am fine. Very well made and high quality. Even my orthopedist admired them.

I read other reviews about these boots before I bought them, "runs big" and "hurts my shin" were concerns. I bought them anyway and these problems must have been fixed. Size is perfect, and leather is soft and does not hurt. I will purchase from Zappos again. Great experience!

I love Dansko clogs and I love these boots. They feel the same. I expected the clog "looseness" so I'm happy. And I think they look even better in person than on the computer screen. I am VERY happy!!

These are great shoes if you have to go in and out of the weather frequently but still be dressed in business clothing, I go between my office and the hospital, car and hospital. While i love my other shoes for business i hate snow in my shoe-these work great for keeping the snow out. In addition they have great traction. while in my office the first few days-i had to switch to other shoes because of the chaffing to my ankles but just made sure to wear thick socks so no marks on the ankles. I would take the chaffing vs. the snow every time. The boot is not as heavy as you would expect.

I got my pair of Scouts right after Thanksgiving and wore them inside for a few hours for several days. I found them to be rather large compared to my other Danskos of the same size. This is not bad for boots as I have several thick socks I like to wear in the winter! They are comfortable to walk in and I think they look good with slacks.

As always, received my order from Zappos the very next evening. You guys rock! I am a big fan of Dansko shoes since I have a flat foot; great arch support. The boots are cute and I was able to wear them for several hours the first day. Only issue was the top of the boot was stiff/rough so a taller sock was needed to keep from rubbing; since I like socks this wasn't a big issue!

I work on my feet and have developed plantar fasciitis, which sadly limits the shoes I can wear without horrible pain. I wear Dansko clogs at work, and I was thrilled to find these short boots. Reasonably stylish and comfortable! They have great support. I can wear them out all day without hobbling or needing large quantities of pain killers! I got them in brown, but I'm seriously tempted to get them in black, too. It's so nice to be able to wear something other than my running shoes. So much Dansko love!

I was looking for a dress boot that would also be good for my feet...and I found them! The Dansko footbed is unbelievably comfortable. I work on concrete floors and these shoes provide great support and comfort. They look stylish whether I wear them with jeans/dress pants or with a long skirt. I\'m glad to have shoes that will keep my feet and ankles covered/warm while still being dressy and comfortable. The problem I experienced was some discomfort with the uppers as I wore them the first 2 times. The leather had to be broken in, and the first 2 times I wore them with hose (instead of socks), they rubbed my ankle bones. Well-placed band-aids got me through those first 2 wearings. Now the leather flexes when I walk and the discomfort is gone, even when wearing hose. Per The Walking Company\'s advice, I have applied plain bee\'s wax to these boots to help with waterproofing.

These are a great winter version of Dansko clogs. Everytime I put them on I end up leaving them on longer than I had planned to wear them. I always purchase size 10.5 or larger for running shoes, and I orderd a 41 in these boots. I own several other pairs of Dansko shoes (two in 41, one in 42) and I must be on the edge of the two sizes. These boots are long enough, even with thick socks, but I can tell my big toe is at the end after wearing them all day. I can see why I've been fitted for a 42 when purchasing Dansko shoes in stores, but these are fine for me (again, I must be right on the line between the two sizes). I also have a wide foot and these work well (I've had them for a week now and have worn them all around Boston and Alexandria, VA, including two airports). They are VERY comfortable, with great support for my high arches, and they definitely look like a clog when you wear long pants. These are a boot for informal wear, they are not at all dressy, and seem to go best with casual (i.e., cotton, denim) fabrics in pants, not dresses or skirts. Great, funky look with the center seam and awesome Dansko fit. Be ready for them to feel loose on your foot (especially the heel!) so you get the correct benefits from the Dansko design. Don't expect a tight, dressy feel. Enjoy this new boot, particularly in areas of the country where we have so much cool/cold weather when a shoe/boot that can take serious commuter needs, fits the bill!

My new favorite pair of boots! The leather is a bit stiff at first around the ankle, but hang in there for a day or two and it will soften up quickly. These boots are super comfortable and look great with jeans or dress slacks. Buy them right now! You will not be disappointed.
