These booties are comfortable and cute enough. The main thing that I wanted to comment on is that the leather feels really cheap. They scuffed immediately and the leather is blond underneath the black coating. I'm still wearing them but they just feel kind of cheap for the full Dansko price that I paid.

This is the only pair of Dansko shoes I didn’t like. The footbed of the shoe is comfortable just like all other Danskos. The problem lies with the extremely hard upper leather. It simply does not bend and move like one needs with a boot.

Leather is too stiff. My rating for this ankle boot is really 5 stars for below the ankle, 2 stars for above. The footbed is fantastic, provides great support and comfort. In the area between my ankles, however, there was grave discomfort. The leather of the boot is so stiff that it did not give when I walked, therefore causing such pressure on the area of my leg between the ankles that sores developed. Two weeks after not wearing the boots, I still have sores that have not healed. When I first tested these boots, I was in the office, and did not walk in them extensively. Because they felt comfortable, I wore them home, and that was when I discovered their regrettable tendency to chafe against my leg. I thought that breaking them in might help, but all I got for my efforts was a sore on each leg. I gave the boots to my daughter, with the warning that she should find some foam cushion to line the boots with, and proceeded to order a pair of La Canadienne ankle boots which do not chafe my legs. Unfortunately they do not provide the superb foot support that the Dansko boots did. But at least I can walk in them.

Cute boots, but not the most comfortable. Leather is extremely stiff and hurts my ankles, may have to return for a clog. Plus, they are a bit too small and my toes are crunched. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and ordered these in a 39 but will need to try a size up. They are also more narrow than the Dansko clog.

Returning these shoes, although I typically like Dansko shoes. The heel on these seems wobbly and the leather on the ankle portion of the boot is stiff and uncomfortable feeling. Overall, they just look too stiff and stylized. However, the foot bed seemed very comfortable and cushy.

I thought these boots looked really nice, until I tried them on and felt like I had stepped into a pair of flower pots. They are very, very roomy in the ankle, I think they would have just fell off of my feet. And my husband laughed when he saw me try them on. I think I\'ll stick to their clogs.

I am longtime fan of Dansko clogs and wear them almost all the time in the winter. Sadly, I had to return the Scout. The leather of the boot is exactly as strong and stout as the leather of the clogs, and because of that, the shaft does not have any 'give' around your ankle. Walking up or down steps, crouching down, etc the shaft digs in to my leg. Other than that, the footbed, the fit around my foot, the ease of walking, was all as expected from a Dansko shoe.

I am a bug fan of Dansko; however, I was really disappointed with these. The zipper constantly falls down, the leather is really stiff - I am bummed about them. I am hoping I can return them and get a different pair of Danskos.

Look good but they are gigantic, but not in length. The length is fine, but even with added insoles there is still way too much room between the top of my foot and the inside of the shoe. My foot falls out every time I take a step. If I got a size down my toes would be touching the end. They are a strange fit and I don't think I love them.

I am a long-term Dansko addict, but I had to return the first pair, as the front seam was splitting (and I have a narrow foot); replaced it and after maybe 10 wearings, the replacement is splitting. I would return them but have no shipping info.

This was the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever tried on! Only tried on one foot and returned to box! Leather very hard on top of leg and foot. Do not recommend.

These shoes are tricky to fit. I tried on 3 different pairs until one felt good. Dansko shoes are like clogs and are designed to have a loose fit at the heel. The heel slips with every step, which means that the shoe pulls the sock down. This is very annoying and I\'ve tried different socks and it still happens. This is not something one notices until it\'s too late to return the shoe. So, I\'m stuck with a shoe that doesn\'t work for me.
