I love these boots! I am a true size 8 with slightly narrow feet. I was unsure whether I needed an 8 or 9 (to have room for thicker socks) but the size ended up being wide and generously cut allowing very thick socks to fit comfortably. I can even get away with a second thinner pair for extra warmth - though I am not sure how crammed my feet might feel after a long day of walking. Overall I recommend simply buying your true size if you have narrow feet or average width feet. If you have wide feet size up as others have said.

Great boot! I returned a pair of North Face boots and got these. They have a very flexible ankle so I can drive in them. The returned North Face were like wearing ski boots, no flex. These are light, very warm and super waterproof. The sizing was fine, it is a wider foot shoe but I was able to add a nice warm Ugg brand shearling insole which makes them extra cozy. They are super cute too.

I live in the mountains of Colorado and needed a good boot that was easy to throw on, kept the snow out and was warm! These boots are great! I had some really old Sorels that were pretty grungy, so these are the replacement. I like that they are high enough to keep out the snow, however it makes it a little difficult to get them on and off quickly... you need to tie them loosely. All in all, I would say a great boot and cute too!

These are the best boots I've ever owned! True to size, they fit and feel perfect. They also look great.

I love these boots. Have been trying to order them since 2010. No luck in my size 8. I think they are very true to size; Just remember-you'll probably be wearing thick socks with these boots. A little stiff, but so are all boots before you break them in. Can't wait for the first snowfall in Massachusetts!

These are easily my favorite boots! They are incredibly warm and comfortable and living in Alaska they are great for long walks outside in sub-zero temps.

These boots are super cute. I usually wear an 8.5 and I got the 8 in the boots and they fit fine. They are a little heavy and stiff to begin with but I think they will form to my foot and become more comfortable the more I wear them.

Could not be happier with these boots! They are the perfect size and so comfy and warm. Very durable as well- perfect for winters in Wisconsin. Bring on the snow!

These boots are awesome! My boyfriend ordered them for me after we had a 3 day rain and wind storm with >100mph winds in Astoria OR. We had just moved here and I didn't have any boots! Be prepared that these boots are difficult to get on and off-as is every excellent pair of winter boots. The heel is extra firm and they are difficult to move in at first but they do break in a bit. Overall, I highly suggest these boots. They are top quality, warm, cozy, they have great traction are practical and even fashionable. I am normally a size 8.5 but I ordered a size 9 simply because they were sold out of the s 8.5. The size 9 is a little big but with warm wool socks they fit just right. They turned out perfect. Buy this boot.

I wanted these boots for a year and am 100% happy with my purchase! I go to college in northern Vermont and these boots will definitely keep my feet warm for many winters to come even when the rest of my body isn't. My foot ranges from a size 8 1/2 - 9 1/2 so I ordered a size 9 and it was just about perfect with a little extra room at the toe in case I need to wear thick socks. The only problem I've had with them is when I'm trying to drive; they're so big/thick that my ankle can't flex and I have to lift up my entire leg to switch from pedal to pedal. I'm sure that once I break them in that problem will go away, though, so it's no biggie. And don't trust the reviews that warn about not being able to get these boots past the ankle! Just untie/loosen the strings and you should have absolutely no problem getting them on (unless your ankles really are 16 1/2" thick). You may have to untie them to get them back off/on, but I don't see how they wouldn't fit someone at all.

I have these in Hawk and the Silver Blue, had to purchase Black, the boots are super warm and fit true to size. A 10 is a 10 and my feet have never been cold or uncomfortable while walking for hours in freezing Europe. Awesome boots. :)

Love these boots. They're adorable - I got the Taffy color and the red sole warms my spirit while the actual boots keep my feet toasty and dry. In my opinion they run a tad big, but that gives you room to wear some big wool socks. Bring on the cold, Wisconsin!

Love these boots! They're kind of cave-womany, but not in an over-the-top way. They're very heavy and it takes a bit to get used to walking in them, but after that, great! Make sure you wear thick socks with them, though, or else you toes will get cold because the base is just rubber.

I am so happy with these boots! They are so warm and easy to slip into. I'm glad I read other reviews, as I also have trouble with bunions and these boots fit very comfortably with no problems! Can't wait for snow!

Love the Metal Color. I have the Hawk and wanted something different this winter aside from brown/black boots. These are great. Look better than featured and runs true to size.

It hasn't been cold enough yet to wear these beautiful boots, but I am sure that Colorado will be, and soon. These appear to be very warm and well made. I do know they are taller than I expected, and with more color contrast. Both good things. I always appreciate a winter boot with a removable lining, as well, snow does get everywhere. They are double stitched on stress points, and have decent tread with very little heel. Snow packs under heels... I think they are going to make me smile smile smile. Worth the money.

I bought these boots in grey to wear on a ski trip in Breckenridge. They were great in the snow and were so comfy on my feet after being in ski boots for 8-10hrs a day. Good traction. I liked the grey color. The only thing I didn't love was that they made my size 8.5 feet look monstrous! If you have smaller feet then they would probably be cuter - but I bought these more for function.

I'm hard on my shoes. These boots had their maiden voyage on a 1 week adventure road trip less than 24 hours after they arrived on my doorstep. 500 miles north to a snow storm in Tahoe, hiking (yes hiking) and support for muddy four wheeling through the snow at the base of Mt. Shasta where I also waded through the freezing headwaters of the Sacramento River. Warm and dry while my companions shivered their Timberlands. Hosed them off at the end of trip, they still look good and get compliments when I wear them with my skirts and jeans. Sold on these boots, this manufacturer, and Zappos customer support during a panicky, time sensitive size trade off before my trip. I'm a 7.5 wide and I figured with thick socks an 8 would be okay. The 7 turned out to be the winner so buy down and give them time to conform and try different socks before you hail them as "uncomfortable", hiking socks helped my feet breathe.

Very comfortable and warm and super cute! I am usually an 8.5-9, but Zappos only offered whole sizes and they were out of the 9. So I ordered the 8 - at first it was a bit snug, but once I wore them a few times, it was roomy enough to keep.

When I received these boots in the mail, I was impressed with how warm (and cute!) they are. I was a little concerned about the size, however. I'm normally an 8.5, so I ordered the 9. When I tried them on initially, they seemed too big. However, when I tried them on again with thick wool socks (which is what I imagine I'll be wearing with them), they fit perfectly. I can't wait to wear these in the snow!

I ordered this boot and they are amazing! Zappos shipping was so fast... got them the very next day! Boots are so warm, cozy and great on rainy days. Looks great with jeans tucked in! I normally wear a 6 but glad I got the 7 instead. Love them! Great buy!

I ordered these in Shale and received them today. They are a nice, quality boot however the color is off. On the computer screen they look like a light grey, in person it looked more like a dark grey/black. I am returning them because they are a little too much for what I need and heavier than I would like. Also, I ordered a size up because some reviews said them run small. There is a ton of room in the front of the boot. I wear a size 8 and ordered a 9. I may stick with the Nupsie Bootie from Northface, it was much lighter and easier to get off and on.

Had to buy an entire size smaller. Warm. You can make adjustments for your calf size with the front laces. Overall - a keeper!
