I love the look of these boots. I just wore them out in our first snow of the season. No problem at all grabbing on to the icy ground and making me feel confident in my steps. I wore them for approximately 5 hours nonstop, and they were extremely comfortable. They're great winter boots and stylish too, not bulky like most winter boots that perform the way these do.

This boot is very cute and comfortable. The side zipper is exceptionally handy but very subtle. The size is very true which unfortunately means I need to exchange these for a half size bigger to account for my thick winter socks. I can see why some people might be irritated by the flap that is behind the lacings (for waterproofing I am sure), but I think with just a little care in checking its placement it won't be any issue.

Great all weather boot that looks as good as it feels. I walked all day in them in NY and felt wonderful. Very cute and comfortable.

These boots are comfy and cute. A little on the chunky side, the wide whipstitched toe made my foot look big. You can fold down the top and show the fur, too.

I ended up getting this boot after I bought the Emmy boot by Salomon. The Emmy fit weird and dug into one if my heels. Thus it's a very comfortable boot and pretty cute. I was worried about the laces, but you can slip the boot off and on by just releasing the zipper on the side. I think I would have opted for the very similar Mackenzie boot that's on sale. The style looks very similar. Overall cute, comfy shoe.

Love. These boots are incredibly comfortable. They are not stiff or bulky at all like most boots are. I highly recommend these!

I loved these snow boots. They're very stylish and fit well. The lace in the back is convenient if you need to readjust the side. They have kept me very warm in the cold and snow. Don't let the price of it sway you off, it is worth the price. North Face is the best you can get. Happy and very satisfied with the purchase.

Overall very comfortable. Putting on and off takes some getting used to. I've never worn boots with a back tie and still can't put them on quickly. The tongue is in the back plus a side small zipper to help your foot slide inside. Very cute once they're on, I've received many compliments!

I love these boots -- they are so comfortable and stylish. The soles can become slippery indoors, if floor is wet.

This is a great boot if you want a lighter winter boot that you can also drive in. However, if you are going to be walking quite a bit through the snow, the boot needs a heavy sock to stay warm. I have worn this boot a handful of times in the snow thus far and it did get wet inside once in the very front. Other times, I thought my toes were wet, but they were just so cold they felt wet. Overall, it's a cute boot if you're not going to be out walking in the snow for too long.

These are great boots! My only complaint is that they have started to loose their shape in the foot area. The leather stretches out a bit as you wear them. I like the option to fold down the top few inches to have a different look. They are warm, adjustable, and easy to wear. No wet feet yet, but it has not snowed yet, either!

I was looking for a warm, but stylish winter boot. While this boot looked nice, I didn't think it was warm. I was hoping the furry stuff went all the way through, it's just for style at the top. I'm returning them in hopes to find a warmer boot.

These are pretty cute for winter boots, but I find that they are NOT waterproof, despite The North Face's claims. When wet, they do dry rapidly, though. The Ice Pick feature on the sole makes these boots incredibly slippery on ice, as well as even slightly wet, tiled floors. I have almost fallen numerous times on the tiled floors of the university where I work. Also, the tongue at the back of the boot can potentially let snow through because it is not fully sealed onto the rest of the boot. These boots are warm, but not too warm, unless the temperature is over 40 degrees. Overall, if you live in a city prone to blizzard conditions and frequent melting snow/sludge conditions (like Chicago), I would recommend these for warmth, but not for snowy or icy days.

Warm sturdy boot - but difficult to get into and out of. Also little support. Wanted a boot to walk my Untrained Dogs in the snow and ice (without socks). Also, not lined with fur all the way through - not comfy without socks. These might do the job for others...but back they go for me. I went with the Keens.

Exactly as described with only one small difference...seems to run about a half size small. Otherwise, these boots are stylish and comfortable. I haven't tested them in snow yet so not sure how they'll hold up then.

The North Face is a wonderful boot (it's a little hard to tie it, cause I am paralyzed on the right side) but I really do love it!

I've loved North Face clothing and outerwear, and these boots are the same high quality. I wanted a pair of warm, functional winter boots that look good too, and these are the perfect solution. They're comfortable, warm and cozy. I have not put the waterproofing to a serious test, but when walking on snowy sidewalks, driveways, etc., my feet have stayed completely dry and warm. Highly recommend!

These were a bit shorter than expected. However they fit nicely, and have plenty of room. They are really comfy, and keep your feet really warm. Have not tried them in snow yet, but looking forward to it.

I absolutely love this boot! They are perfect for a cute boot that is also comfortable and supportive. I wear them whenever I want to look a little nice but I also have to walk places. (I'm a college student, so I walk a lot.) They look great with skirts and also with jeans. I like that the laces allow for occasional adjustment but the zipper allows me to easily put on my boots when I'm in a rush. I am a 7.5 but as a rule I go a half size up on boots to allow for thick socks and the 8 fits me perfectly. I got them in grey, but I am considering getting them in black also. I would definitely recommend this boot, they are my favorites!

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I wish I could find shoes this comfortable. I wear a size 7 1/2 or 8. I ordered the 8 and they fit perfect. I can wear them with heavy socks or barefoot. They're very stylish looking too!

So far, no snow, but these boots are still perfect. They're as comfy as running shoes, warm, great-looking and weather-proof. Zappos continues to amaze with stratospherically fast, gracious, amazing service.

The Janey is so comfortable and keeps my lower leg and foot toasty (but not sweaty) with the Primaloft insulation. I tried a lot of boots in my search for something warm and waterproof - this was it! I wear a 6 or 6.5 - ordered the 6 in this and it fits very well with room for thick socks. I can use the laces to adjust it for wearing fitted with tights or looser over straight-leg pants.

These boots are super comfy and true to size (well they're a bit big but that's good for providing extra room for thick socks). I look forward to wearing these this Winter!

I love the Janey boot! I have recently moved to New England and was in need of a stylish boot that I can wear around town to keep my feet warm and dry, and Janey fits the bill! I have a pair of REAL snow boots, but they are super thick and hard to drive in. I have really slim legs, so I would have liked if the laces would come up a bit tighter because there is still a bit of space, even when I have jeans tucked in. I will say these have next to no arch support, but I usually use a pair of arch inserts in my shoes because my feet are so narrow, and that solved the arch support problem right away.
