Not as expected. When my beloved 10s wore out, I was excited to see that the 11s had such good reviews. Not so for me. Right out of the box these were much looser in the heel and did not supply the cushioning of the 10s (I am an under pronator with narrow heels, so these are essential qualities). The cushioning felt odd and thin around my pinky toe area, almost as if there were two "steps" of subpar cushioning. I was disappointed that the narrow width was completely too wide even when laced as tight as comfortably possible. For the price and namesake, I expected a well cushioned form-fitting shoe. I know many GN fans complained about the 10s, but they worked much better for me. After I returned these I was (luckily) still able to find the 10 version to order.

I'm terribly disappointed in this shoe. I've owned 2 pair of Gel Nimbus 9 and was ecstatic! I'd finally found a shoe with great fit, cushion, and support. The Gel Nimbus 11 has the fit, but none of the support: the balls of my feet were hurting after the first outdoor use, and by that time it was too late to send the shoes back. I'm back to wearing my worn out Nimbus 9s. I love Zappos and their great service, but I hate these shoes.
