I never write reviews, but I love this coat, it is lightweight and good quality. This is my second Patagonia jacket, but will not be my last. I wear a size 8 and the medium is true to size, for me. When zipped it is somewhat form fitting, but not tight.

This is my third down sweater. I also have the North Face thunder jacket and the Eddie Bauer first ascent downlight sweater jacket. This fits just as we'll as my other two. I have the green color and love it. I'm 5'4", 120 lbs and I bought the small.

I love my new Patagonia Down Sweater! I'm 5ft and size small fits great. Keeps me warm but without the bulk. Would definitely recommend. And I love the grey color.

I love this jacket and it is comfortable and not bulky. Perfect to do errands in. It does run a little large. I am 5'4" 112 lbs and wear an XS with some room. It is not for really cold days!

I bought this jacket in black for myself a year ago. This year I just bought another for myself, and 7 more for my children, grandchildren and husband. They all loved it. Obviously I love the jacket. I love the look, the weight and the feel of it. It's December, I live in NE and still wear it on many days. It is not for the real cold weather that we get here but except for the summer months I wear it all year long. A 3 season jacket. Just love it.

I've seen several reviews on this jacket where the commenters are upset that this "jacket" doesn't look like a dedicated winter down coat from other similar brands like the North Face. They are guessing that since it's not bulky and heavyweight, it can't possibly be worth the price. But that's why it's called a down "sweater" jacket. It is uber lightweight, but still quite warm and wind-resistant when you need it to be. I've worn it in temps in the teens with just a tank and fleece pullover underneath and been toasty warm. Yet, the beauty of this jacket's design is when temps warm up into the 40s or 50s - you can keep it on without being overheated. That's because of the super high-quality down that Patagonia utilizes. It's completely breathable and easily packable - which is also why the shell is so thin. It's silky-soft and the zipper has a "garage" to keep it from rubbing on your chin in cold weather...a requirement if you spend considerable time outside in winter! Pair it with a hooded rain-shell for snowy or rainy conditions and it functions as an all-weather jacket. I own both the jacket and vest version of this down sweater and for the past two years have got more use out of both of them than any other single coat I've ever owned. Feminine cut and true to size, as well. Worth the investment in every way.

Like most of all the other reviews, this jacket is simple and perfect. It is good for those first few fall days where it's a little chilly in the morning, but it's also warm enough for cold snowy days. Well worth the money.

Love it! Very lightweight and comfortable...not fat & puffy as you'd expect a down jacket to be.

I love the weight, style and color, except for the orange trim and lining. So sorry it doesn't work for me.

Love this jacket, but if you are a size 2 and order the XS, it won't fit. XS is a true size 4. Had to return, but ordered the Nano Puff in XS and it fit well.

Loose fit, loved the jacket but not the boxier fit as I am tall and slender but broad shouldered.

This is a really cute jacket, but I'm still deciding if I am going to keep it. The other reviews are right that you can totally see the down inside, so instead of being white, it is kind of a dirty-gray color. It doesn't bother me a ton, so I will probably keep it, but if you are really picky then white is not the color for you. The cut and fit is very flattering.

This a great lightweight jacket that looks great and is not too heavy. Perfect for hockey games and going to friends' houses- Not for outdoor fun in the dead of winter, I did find that the collar part was not well stitched and that feathers were coming out. I 've gotten many compliments, and overall, it is a great buy.

I love the style of the down sweater however I ordered the white birch color and found that the down feathers showed through the fabric. I returned and ordered another color.

Really warm without being too bulky. I bought to layer under a shell for skiing. Overall shape is a bit boxy though, but that is my only complaint.

Cute and remarkably lightweight. I ordered this along with the North Face Imbabura, which is more slimming. The sleeves on this jacket are bigger and bulkier.

This is a very light down jacket and looks good on. I noticed that the lining is polyester, and this fabric does not breathe. That is why I was so uncomfortable when I tried it on. Appreciate that I can return it for a refund. Thanks Zappos!

Way too boxy. I am an xs, 115 lbs and 5'6. Ordered an xs and it makes my shoulders look huge. Really wanted to love it. Return today.

I thought I'd love this, but it's boxy and unflattering on me. I'm 5'8 and size 4. Thought I'd post this review to balance all the glowing ones.

This jacket was short, boxy (as another reviewer mentioned) and very thin. It is definitely not worth the money and I am returning it to look for another fall-early winter jacket. I'm disappointed that I followed all the other rave reviews and bought it.

First, let me say that I love Patagonia products and own many, including several jackets. I was surprised when I received this jacket in pearl and the fabric was so thin and transparent that you can see every feather inside. It makes the jacket appear dirty. The weight of the fabric is obviously too thin for the quality of feathers used. So, unfortunately, I am returning it. Thank you to Beth at Zappos for all your assistance!
