I love this jacket. I live in No. Ca and it's perfect for our not freezing winters. It's light and does not add all the added bulk that a full down coat would. Who needs any added bulk, really? Is a tad short in the torso, but I have a long-waist. Still a great jacket and I'd buy another if the opportunity came about.

My favorite jacket. Super light weight, not bulky and warm. Love the shape too. A little bit longer in the back, so bending down doesn't reveal, but shorter in front for sporty look. Pockets are good size, to hold all you need.

I feel compelled to let people know that the green is SUPER BRIGHT LIME green. I returned mine instantly to get a black one. But the jacket is awesome and warm. I am 5'5", 115 lbs (normally wear a 2) and got the XS, and it fits perfectly.

To borrow a word from Rachael Ray, this jacket is cute! It stood up to a freezing day in northeast Pennsylvania, yet it's still comfortable in milder weather in DC. It's very light and comfortable. I've had it for only a few days and I've had it on constantly. But how do you keep the down feathers from escaping?

I bought this for my mom, who admired mine and had to have one. This is a fantastic jacket...perfect for travel. It folds up into its own pocket, looks elegant enough to wear out in the evening, and is just a great all around piece. It fits true to size. I'm a 6-8 and wear a medium. My mom is a 14 and is in an XL.

I love this jacket so much that I am buying another color! I live in Colorado and wear this in the coldest of weather and am always warm. It is very light and travels well too!

A lightweight packable down jacket that I pull out during breaks on winter hikes and to keep warm at the end of hike. It's great to have for hiking and camping as well as for throwing on when doing errands. I've received compliments on the color. I am glad to support Patagonia as the company has a strong environmental stance.

So, what made be teeter on the purchase of this item was how to wear it ... Patagonia jackets generally do fall at the hip and can expose your back side. I ordered a size larger to compensate for this factor and I am happy with my choice. For a fitted look (sweater) - consider your normal size and or smaller size. For use as a jacket - consider your normal size and or larger size This is a great jacket and will will find a way to utilize it.

I love the down sweater. I ordered the purple and while it may not be for everyone, I think it's great. I ordered the S and had to return it for the XS. I'm normally a S but the XS was a better fit. With a puffy jacket, you don't want it too big. There's no need to add to the marshmallow effect. I'm wearing it snowboarding and it's super warm and makes a great mid-layer for super cold days or great outer-layer for more moderate days. It's great to run around town in as well. A big hit at apres!

Warm, lightweight, nice and tailored. Blue color is beautiful. I am 5ft 7, 125lb and I wear a small. My transaction included 4 different jacket in different sizes and Zappos service was amazing. I would order (and probably will) another one in a minute.

I love this jacket/sweater! It's soft and warm and thin enough to wear around the house, as a sweater, on really cold days.

Amazing jacket. Very light and super warm. I have been wearing mine since it arrive yesterday (next day shipping, thank You Zappos!) Since the jacket is a regular cut for Patagonia, this allows for mid-weight layering. I ordered a smaller size, knowing I will not layer to the extent that Patagonia allows on the regular-cut. If you use mid-layers, get your regular size, if you like a little slimmer fit, go a size smaller. The girl in the photo could go down a size and still have room for light layering. This is by far my favorite article of clothing (ever).

I ordered the orange and was upset to see that the fabric was so transparent you could see the filling through it, I am planning on returning it right away. The Jacket fits great and its very comfortable, but the blotchy black that shows through makes it look like something is wrong with the fabric.

The Perfect Fall Coat. Its not too heavy and its very warm. Its a staple in my winter/fall wardrobe. I recommend this product to everyone. The only problem is that its a little short. If you are over 5'5 the jacket my be too short for you.

I received my Patagonia Down Sweater in Pearl about a month ago and it was meant to be a Christmas present from my husband. But after trying it on to make sure we got the size right I just couldn't let him wrap it up! I couldn't believe how something so thin and lightweight could keep me so warm. I wear a size 4 and the small fit me perfectly with room to wear a thick shirt or sweater underneath but it is so warm all I've worn are t-shirts or thin tops so far. And yes, the pearl color is sheer so you do see some down inside and it gives it a slight spotty appearance. But I really like it so it didn't bother me a bit. I love this jacket!

I never would've guessed that a size SMALL would fit me. I am an athletically built size 4 to 6... but I have pretty muscular shoulders, so I typically wear a medium or 6 or 8 on top. This is a fitted jacket. Usually I like things on the roomy side... but the size Medium had such long sleeves that when worn at wrist length (which you must do because the wrists are elastic), it caused the whole arm to look bulky and Michelin like. So, surprisingly, I am happy with the size Small and keeping it. (I had two sizes sent). Ordered on Thursday, arrived Friday. Love, love, love Zappos.

I love this jacket! It is warm, weighs nothing and is very stylish. The sleeves are too long but this is manageable and doesn't deter my enthusiasm.

I looked at this down sweater for a long time before purchasing due to the price. It's worth it. It is stylish and surprisingly warm despite its light weight. It layers well (had a good workout under a rain shell on a cold spring trip to New England) and takes up very little space in a suitcase. I am usually a 6-8, and the small allows ample room for a sweater underneath. Also thrilled that I ordered it from Zappos at noon on a Monday, and it arrived the next morning!

This jacket is surprisingly warm, and I wish I had gotten it sooner to wear into the early fall/winter season, rather than the early spring, though it will be the jacket I reach for in the morning, evening, beach outings in northern California all year round. The jacket is so light, yet really keeps you warm. It's a sensory trip because, I think that most people often equate the 'heavy/bulk' feeling that is needed to keep warm. I purposely ordered a size bigger to make up for the short waist. It was the right choice for me, and made it all the more functional to keep me protected from the wind whipping up my back. To me, the design and fabric technology has a hint of that space-frontier feeling. Too much? I know, it's just a jacket, but I love my gear.

I love this jacket! I had previously bought the Marmot Venus down jacket and it never fit me well. This one is perfect, warm and wind resistant. I got the purple and it is beautiful. I also am really happy with the incredible customer service Zappos always offers.

Love this jacket. I had seen it at a ski shop and knew I wanted to buy it so when Zappos had it for less, I snapped it up. Ordered it one afternoon and it was at my home the next afternoon.

This is the softest, lightest, most practical and warmest jacket you could ever want for layering in the cold. Packs down in its own pocket, weighs nothing, super cozy and soft and keeps you warm with 800 down fill. A must have staple in your wardrobe.

I was reluctant to buy a down garment because I feared looking huge and was concerned about its maintenance (laundering). My son, who is a big Patagonia fan, suggested this style while we were in southern CA in January (gets chilly at night and sometimes during the day), Well, I found that I really like the down sweater. It's lightweight very comfortable to wear. And when you're packing up, it can be compressed. I'm very happy with this purchase. Love the color, too.
