I would wear these gorgeous boots every day if I could! I love them. The boots are stylish, the leather is soft and the fit is absolutely perfect.

These shoes are amazing! I’m usually a 6.5 and bought a 6. They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable -- no break-in period necessary. I love the smoke color since it goes with black and brown. The leather is really smooshy (so be warned if you want a stiff boot), but it smells and feels divine!

I read all the reviews from multiple websites and everybody said to order down at least a 1/2 size. I always wear a 6 1/2, never a 6 and never a 7. I ordered a 6 and returned them because they were too small. There was no wiggle room and certainly no room for a light sock. The 6 1/2 was perfect. I ordered the burnished tan and it is just beautiful. Just the right amount of dark brown and light brown so that I can wear with many things.

I've never spent this much on shoes or boots, but have finally learned you get what you pay for. Well worth returning 3 pairs of expensive boots and taking the plunge. Love the Carson. Funky traditional, looks great with skirts. Comfortable and well made. Only wish it came in a true 5.

My most favorite purchase ever! If you are hesitating, then don't. These are the most comfortable and versatile boots I've ever owned, and I have eight pairs of Frye's now. I can wear them all day then all night and still put them on the next day without any discomfort. They are stylish and go with just about everything. I get compliments on them on a regular basis. Butter soft. If you want a cute boot with a bit of fun cowgirl without being too pointy toed and obvious then these are them. I'm buying the green pair next! True to size, 7.5 is a perfect 7.5. These boots are wonderful! I\'m glad I read the customer reviews first--I usually wear a size 8, but since a lot of people wrote that the half-size smaller fit them, I went ahead and got a 7.5, which fits perfectly. These boots are timeless and classy and comfortable.

These are the best boots that I have ever owned. I get compliments every time I wear them. I am considering buying another color!! They are so cute with leggings or skinny jeans.

Frye does it again with the Carson pull on! I ordered Saddle and they have a very worn in look, but I love them! I have larger calves and these work great - with a little breaking-in they will be perfect. They are true to size on me. Very comfortable fit, great support. And Zappos, if you needed a kidney I would give you both of mine - I love you THAT much!

So I read the reviews before choosing my Frye, and I am so glad I did! I ordered a size smaller which is perfect, and I LOVE them! They feel great and they look great! I look forward to our many happy years together... Yay!

Great boot! Fits my wide, high instep foot very well. Very comfortable and good looking. I've gotten loads of compliments on this pair of boots!

Very comfortable, no break-in period, even wear them with bare feet. I wear between a size 9 to 9 1/2---bought these in a nine. Good arch support even for my flat feet. Found a little slippery on smooth tile surfaces because of a little nail on the heel sticking out---just pounded it back in. Wear them with just about everything. Would definitely buy this brand again!

I have been looking at these boots for awhile and finally decided to treat myself... I have another pair of Frye boots that I love and knew to order a half size down. I have to say these boots are worth every penny. They were comfortable the minute I put them on and lasted the entire day at my retail job (where I am literally on my feet walking all day). I never write reviews, but felt compelled to write this one the minute I got home because I loooooooooooove these boots. Thanks Zappos, you guys ROCK!!!

These have quickly become my favorite boots. They are unbelievably comfortable with the most buttery leather. My size runs between a 7 and 7.5, and the 7 fit perfectly. The length of the shaft is perfect for my height (5’2”). I have only worn them with jeans so far, but I’m sure they will compliment the right dress and skirt. A pricey buy, but a boot that will last a lifetime and never go out of style.

I love these boots! They are the most comfortable boots that I have ever own. More like a shoe. I would recommend then highly.

Fabulous boot! Comfortable, stylish, and fun. Goes with jeans and pants. Looks great with a skirt. My feet are picky. This boot was "kind" to them, right out of the box. I wish I could buy every color!

Some of The. Best. Boots. Ever. The upper is supple, and wide enough to accommodate my (marathon-runner) muscular calves. They are super-easy to slip on, and the foot bed is comfortable enough to walk all day on (without being uber-padded). When my ship comes in, I will own a pair in every color. DO order one half-size down; I'm a pretty solid size 8 these days, and the 7.5s fit perfectly. Great width through the toe box - no usual cowboy-boot toe pinching.

I love these shoes! The quality of the leather is great and they're cute with every pant or skirt length. I have normal / slightly wide feet and I usually wear an 8, but these fit much better in a 7. They're all leather,so, they should fit a little snug but not tight. the fit is reminiscent to that of the Ugg brand. I buy them all a size smaller.

I have been so excited to write a review on this boot. This boot is fantastic!!! I had bad luck with my first FRYE boot that had a 3 1/2 inch heel. It was a 6.5 M (my true size is 6.5-7) and it hurt my feet terribly to wear even for a short period of time. When I saw this boot, I said I would give it a try in a 6.5 M (since I had a few other Frye shoes I loved). I usually wear a 6.5-7 and 6.5M Carson was sold out so I took a chance on a 6. I could not believe it, but it was perfect! It is definitely not true to size so I recommend going down at least .5-1 whole size. This site has helped me so much because I now do not buy a shoe without first checking or purchasing from Zappos. I hope this information helps somebody because I would never have ordered the 6M had I not read the reviews on how big the Carson pullon runs.

I ordered the Carson boot in the emerald after much deliberation as to which style/color to get. I do not remotely regret my decision, the boot is really comfortable and Frye’s excellent quality. Frye is expensive, but because all their leather is U.S. purchased, which means no animals were harmed or killed solely for the leather (illegal in U.S.), and that’s important to me. The color is perfect, in dim lighting you can’t even really tell it’s green, but out in daylight it’s a gorgeous dark hunter. Order a half size smaller than your usual shoe if you’re considering this boot. This was my first order from Zappos and I was ecstatic with their service, even with a huge snowstorm we had here I still got my boots within four days of ordering them and in time for Christmas!

Love the new boots! I got the white Frye Carson Pull On boots in size 8.5. I normally wear an 8.5; they are a little large, but feel okay with thicker socks. Also, love the overnight service from Zappos at no extra cost.

I have never written a review about a product before, but I thought that this particular boot merited one. Usually pull-on style boots practically fall off my feet since I have a very low instep, but these fit quite nicely with hardly any slippage in the heel. They are very comfortable and I can wear them for long periods of time without any discomfort. I feel that they run a bit large; I usually wear a 9 1/2, but I bought these in a size 9 and they fit fine. I just can't wear really thick socks which I don't mind at all. Also, it's a little hard to tell by the picture, but the shaft of the boot is a very soft and pliable leather so they don't stand up stiffly as a 'cowboy' boot would. I bought the dark brown and the color is beautiful. If you are looking for a comfortable boot with just a hint of western style, then these are it. I am very happy with them!

Ran large by about a half size. Comfy, supple leather. Stitching was coming loose on one place when I took the packaging off. Returning for a smaller size, hoping there will be no construction issue as well.

Great boots and comfy, but not sure I can justify the price. May return.
