Because my feet are a little wide, I wear a size 8.5 - 9. I ordered this shoe in a size 39 (8-8.5), and it was much too tight on my feet. I really liked the style of the shoes.

Really had high hopes for this one - apparently I am a 41, and that option was not available - not sure if that would have solved all problems. The shoes were flat as a pancake, no arch support, and really felt like less than a slipper. They were not bad looking - but nothing special either!

I wear 8.5 to 9, but the 40 was too short.

I loved these shoes but had to return them because the edge landed right on my bunion. Otherwise they were comfortable, cute and a go with anything style.

I liked this style for a round toe shoe. Don't know why there is the elastic but the little tie on the end and the angle on the cross strap dress it up a bit. I also liked the color. It fit OK for with my bunions (Yeah) There was arch support but in the the wrong place. Have never noticed another shoe with the arch so very "off" so could not wear. I had also ordered the Arcopedia Shawna and had the same problem. Returned them both.
Has anyone else had this experience with Arcopedia's? Wonder if all of their shoes are made this way.

I always hope these will work for me but they do not have enough cushion under the ball of my foot.

I have had good success with Arcopedico's lace up mesh shoes, have 3 pair. However this style fits one size smaller than usual.

While I like the look of this shoe, I found it to be quite uncomfortable. Yes, it fit my size 11.5 feet, but the insole didn't cushion my high arch at all. In fact, the arch support fell far behind my arch. For such an expensive shoe I require superlative support. Will have to return.

There is not enough depth to the toe box - there is some pressure on my big toe nails. In addition, the back of the shoe comes up too high on my heels so there is some uncomfortable rubbing even though the length seems correct for me.

These are almost not too narrow. The toe box is actually fairly comfy for a flat if you have feet on the wide side of regular. The heels are very wide though, so if you have narrow heels, forget it. Hard heels too - lots of blisters I would imagine. Cushy sole though, nice for a flat. Runs a bit small.

These are cute shoes. The toe box has enough horizontal space, but vertically I found them tight. My toes are pressing against the top. Also, the back has several seams around the ankle, that gave me a blister. Hopefully they will break in. I bought them for walking to work in my suits.

I have four pairs of Arcopedico, obviously I like them very much. However this one ran small and slipped off my heal. Otherwise it's very cute.

I ordered these because I bought them in green from a store and the green ones are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. But these black ones, in the same size, cut into my ankle and gave me blisters. The back on these black ones was about a half inch higher than my green ones. I don't know how that's possible but I returned them because they cost too much money to not be totally satisfied with them. I don't know if zappos gets rejects or what. This has happened to me twice.

If you have slim or narrow feet, don't even think about ordering this shoe. My foot came entirely up out of the shoe when I tried to take a step. Too bad because they are so cute.

The shoes are a bit short. The leather is very soft, almost too soft for any support, and the shoes are not orthotic-friendly. Without my custom orthotics, the arch in the shoe hits the back part of my arch, not the center--very odd and definitely not something I'd want to walk on. Most disappointing of all is the color. On the screen, it's a bright, clear orange; in reality it's a dull, almost rust color and the green rim is olive.

I wanted to love these shoes. They are cute, versatile and promised to be a good walking shoe....and they might be for the right person. But for me the shoe was to short and the sole bedding was uncomfortable. They are clearly a well made shoe that would have been worth the money had they been more comfortable on my feet.

The fit of these shoes really did not work for me. I wish I had returned them sooner, but at the time I was getting ready to travel and was out of time to continue trying other options. First, they're a very cute shoe -- stylish and unique (some of the color combinations add a nice splash of color). But the straps are not adjustable and they absolutely did not fit my foot (they would go on, but the straps were painful and would cut off circulation). I don't think it was a matter of width (my feet tend towards the narrow and if anything the footbed was a little wide), they were just not "tall" enough for my high arches. Since I'd spent a lot of money on these and I needed something to wear for my travels, I dismantled the straps and added a full inch of elastic material to each strap. This did hold for a few years of heavy use (and was not noticeable to the look), but the shoes were still tight. Finally, while they were clearly a quality-made shoe, they had little to no arch support. In summary, it's a fun looking shoe and quality made, but it has no arch support and no adjustability on the straps. If you have high arches like I do, you may find that a.) they don't provide enough support, and b.) they may not fit properly without major adjustments.

I am still undecided about what I think of these shoes. I got blisters on my toes and heals the first time I wore them. The odd things is that I wore them all day and the bottoms of my feet were fine. It's just the blisters. I didn't wear socks or peds so will next time and hopefully that will help with the blister issue. If I hadn't word them I would probably return. They are a bit pricey and I don't see the value.

I really like these shoes. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable right out of the box. The fit is accurate... perfect in length and width. My complaint with them is the strap is made out of some kind of fabric, and I've only worn them about 4 times and it is already showing signs of fraying. That is why I only gave 3 stars on Overall and Style. Otherwise these are great.

They're cute but not exactly what is pictured.
I have to return this item because they're too small (I wear a size 8, but the size 7-8 is a bit too snug).
However, one of the aspects of the shoe that I liked - which was the two straps that cross the top of the foot - is not what I got. The shoes I received have just a single strap across the top of the foot. Not a huge deal, and if the shoes fit I probably wouldn't return them just because of that, but the photo should be changed, in my opinion.

I have 1 other pair of Arcopedicos in the L 14. They are the only shoes I can find that truly have stretch uppers, so I bought these. I have a nerve pain disease called RSD in tops & bottoms of my feet, so anything that is even the slightest bit tight, cutting or immovable sends me through the roof in pain! My L 14s are the best thing I've found so far, even better than my Aetrex Mary Janes (the strap on my instep causes ever increasing pain as I wear them) but the little elastic strap tightener on the toe digs in after only 1 hour! I can only wear any shoe 2 hours, tops. These don't have a thick strap, or anything on the instep, the reviews are great for stretch & arch support, (plus I have really high arches and haven't ever found a shoe that has enough support of its own), so I purchased. They failed totally! The were so tight all over, they didn't feel like they had any arch support, and they were even uglier, in a size 11 than my L14s! Arcopedicos are so expensive, and unfashionable, but I thought I could endorse them because they all had great arch support! I guess after 2 huge orders (thanks Zappos for wonderful service for people with horrible feet!) & 3 years wearing slippers (with soft orthotic insoles, outdoor soles and velcro openings), I'll only have shoes if they are ugly and/or expensive! So bummed!

Great shoe in every respect except the height of the toe box. It pinched my big toe and pressed on the nail. Sadly have to return.

I love the feel of the inserts in this shoe, but sadly I must return them. The back of the shoe comes up too high on my heel. Since having 2 children, my feet are also a little wider than they used to be and the style of this shoe accentuates that.

The comfort for these shoes is better than the "average" marks I've given them, but considering the price, I would expect more. I do consistently have people approach me when I'm wearing these shoes to comment "Aren't those shoes the most comfortable?!", so while the answer for me is a definite "No, not really..." this may be at least partly a matter of how they fit my feet (so I will try and be more specific). First, the base is a little on the wide side, but the strap does not adjust and was not "tall" enough for my feet (my feet are narrow but "deep," perhaps from high arches). By the end of the day, the strap was too painful to endure. I ended up cutting the elastic and adding at least an inch of extra material (!), which has held up well for the year + that I've had these shoes, but it's a shame that a shoe of this price was not adjustable to begin with. The footbed itself is all right though not great in terms of moderate arch support (admittedly, I seldom find shoes to match my higher arch). Its style is on the harder side (rather than padded), which is not an issue for me but worth keeping in mind. The primary issue is that within a week of wearing them (and I wear them with socks), the footbeds wrinkled, making it very uncomfortable near the center of my foot. I've been able to smooth them out and re-adhere them somewhat successfully, but they have never been what I would call comfortable (and again, a higher arch would be a better fit for my feet). All in all, they've held up well. Despite my complaints, I've worn them many times a week for the year + that I've owned them (they're not _uncomfortable_, just less comfortable than what I would want and I paid too much to feel justified in replacing them quite yet). I will not purchase Arcopedico again. They might work for your feet, but they do not work for mine. And now I'm returning to Zappos to look once again for a pair of comfortable walking/traveling shoes with the flexibility to wear with a skirt or pants in order to replace this soon to be retired pair.

I own a different style of this brand that I really like because the toe box is slightly larger and the strap is adjustable. I returned this shoe because the toe box was not comfortable for me and I didn't like that the strap was not adjustable. I still love this brand however and this shoe would be ideal for a different foot than mine.
