I love this jacket its nice and cozy on cold days. Much warmer than I thought it would be. Think I might buy another jacket in a different color it is so amazing.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She did find that the arms ran a little small for her so we had to size up, but it was no problem.

I love this jacket! I had no problem with shedding, and I am typically a medium and found that a small fit perfectly! I ordered the premiere purple and it is a beautiful color, and extremely soft. I'm 5'5" and 135 pounds, and although most reviewers said to go a size up, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have extremely long arms. Mine were a perfect length. I ordered the jacket Sunday afternoon and it came Tuesday afternoon. I am very pleased with this product.

My daughter somewhat reluctantly picked out this jacket after most of her friends had the black, grey, blue and purple ones in this same style and she did not want to copy. She and I both are very pleased with it. I feel it is a little lighter than the picture shows which was good in our case. Depending on what she wears it can take on a green or even grey tint. It is a very pretty and more versatile color than we expected. Very pleased with comfort and quality as well.

I love this jacket! I ordered the Weimaraner Brown, experienced no shedding or peeling even after washing, as described in other reviews. I did order a size large instead of medium because I did not want it to be so fitted that I could not wear a sweater under it to layer up. It is light enough to wear when it is only slightly cold, but warm enough to wear in freezing temperatures. It is way past comfortable, stylish, easy to care for. I cannot say enough nice things about this jacket!

I could not find this color in the department stores and was pleasantly surprised that it was available at Zappos. I received it in no time and am very pleased with my purchase. Zappos is excellent in every way!

I do wonder how many of these positive reviews were written on first impressions versus actual long term wear. In fact, I previously left a five star review shortly after purchasing this, because my first impression of the jacket was very positive. It is warm, it is soft, it is cozy, what is not to love? Well, a lot of things. I did not have an issue with shedding on my clothes, but the seat belt was another story. The fuzzies clung to the seat belt and then transferred themselves to anything else that I wore. That was irritating, but not a deal-breaker. But the more severe side effect of this seat belt shedding was that the jacket developed "seat belt lines" in the fleece that would not go away, because it matted the fleece down where the seat belt hit. This was not over a period of several months or years, either, but weeks. This jacket is just too expensive for how delicate it is. The fleece is so soft and warm, but for the price, I need something that I can wear in the car without the fleece being matted and shedding away. Two stars because it feels nice, but if you are looking for something that is durable and will not shed like a dog, do not get the Osito.

I still can't believe it! I ordered a North Face jacket for my granddaughter at 4:50 P.M. and received it the next day at 2:00 P.M. And free shipping besides. I have recommended Zappos.com every chance I get.

I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas. She just loved it, for its softness, and warmth. She wore it to work for the first time, and said all the other women thought it was loved it too.

This coat is very warm and soft I really love it. The only thing I don't like about it, it sheds but hopefully when I get it cleaned it will do better.

I ordered the XL just to make sure enough room to layer and sleeves long enough. This jacket is very warm and soft - however, there is a tear in one of the back seams. Just like the jacket so much don't want to go through the bother of exchanging so will probably stitch myself.

I previously returned a North Face Oso jacket (same material as Osito) because it was shedding so badly, but I loved the feel of the fleece. So, recently when I was in a brick&mortar store where they had the Osito in stock in a number of colors, I tried it on again. The first color I tried on (ion blue, which isn't currently for sale on Zappos) I had on for about 20 seconds, and when I took it off, yup, shedding fleece all over my clothes. But curiously when I then proceeded to try on a different color (turquoise, also not on Zappos presently)...very minimal shedding. So, I think the shedding may be color specific or even just specific to the precise jacket. In any case, if you find one that doesn't shed, it's super soft and cozy. It's good on its own probably down into the 40s, and below that I find it layers nicely underneath a shell. Though based on my experience I'd recommend attempting to find it in a physical store just to make sure you don't get a shedding dud! Also, I did size up from my normal TNF size. My usual size fit but was a little too snug with any layers under it. If you live in a warmer climate and don't plan on layering, I'd say buy your true size. If you want to layer, I'd go up a size -- and this coming from someone who barely ever likes how a size up fits!

I absolutely love my North Face jacket. In fact, I loved it so much that I purchased two; one in Black and Brown. I have received many compliments on both. They are very warm, and if I add a warm scarf, I can face the cold weather in comfort.

The item is perfect, just too large for the person it was purchased for. It was a Christmas present so had to find something else.

I received this Jacket as a Christmas present from my husband and absolutely love it. It is very soft and very well made. The winter weather in Illinois can vary from very cold to mild day to day. The Osito is warm enough for everything except the coldest of days. The sizes seem to run true and the fit is very good. I love my North Face Osito.

Love this jacket! It's a great layering piece in cold weather and even nice as a Jacket in the fall weather. Wouldn't recommend wearing it alone when it's really cold but it also can be used as a zip in liner with some TNF coats. Overall great purchase. Absolutely adore the deep purple color.

Very soft jacket, but it does shed some. I ordered the weimaraner brown, it does not look like the same shade as the picture shows, it's more of an olive green shade. Really thought it would be more brownish, but I will still wear it.

Except for the static electricity that this jacket causes, I absolutely love it! It's warm and cozy and fits perfectly.

I bough this as a gift for my 11 year old. She loves it, thankfully it doesn't seem to shed. I bought the XS and it fits perfectly now, but she will most likely outgrow it soon, I should have ordered the small so she could get more wear out of it.

I absolutely love this jacket! I have it in black as well. If you would like a more fitted look, I suggest you buy your normal size. If you want more room, go up a size. This jacket is worth every penny, ladies!
