I am a 7.5 or 8 depending on shoe design. I got the 7 and they fit perfect. I wear with thick socks. I have neither skinny or thick calves and I have no problem getting these on or off. There is a at the top when I where with skinny jeans or leggings. I've worn these through a couple of NYC rain deluges and have kept dry and warm. They are a bit heavy but all rain boots are. I've walked all over the city running errands and my feet and knees are fine after several hours of walking & standing. Not much arch support so I may add something to help out, but the bottoms are comfy and soft. Very happy with these. They grey is nice and goes with everything. No smell, no white dust. Good rain boot all around.

Favorite rain boots ever! I love my new pair of Tretorns. The calf and foot is roomier than that of a Hunter, making it much easier to get a pair of jeans tucked in. I use slightly thicker socks if I'm wearing leggings. These are comfy and not overly heavy. I use these for walking/hiking with my dog and cover several miles most days. I did order a 7 (I'm a small 8) and the 7 fit perfectly. Absolute score!

My first pair of rain boots based on your reviews. I'm a 7.5, wide feet, 16 inch calves. Ordered the 7.0 and it's perfect, very comfortable. A little extra room in the ankle area, but flexible enough where it won't ride on or irritate my skin. Can't wait to wear them.

Great for people who need a wide calf boot! I added a padded insert for a little more cushion. I bought them to wander around in Glacier National Park (Alaska) so I ordered 1/2 size up to leave room for thick socks. They are flexible without being flimsy and performed well on ice, on wet rocks, in streams and on a boat. I am very happy with my rain boots!

These were great boots! Unfortunately they didn't have enough calf room for my legs. If you have heavy calves be sure to measure before you order. The gusset is a nice touch but it sits above the widest part of the calf. I could get into these but I bought them intending them for work in the mud boots and couldn't get my leg and my (not skinny jeans) into the boot.

This rainboot is exactly what I was looking for. I did buy a full size smaller after reading the reviews and I am glad that I did! I normally wear a 6 and I bought a 5. It is warm and insulated. I am very happy!

I got these, thinking that maybe I would not like them...well they are not only sexy, but comfy! I have thick calves, and they fit perfectly, and there is room for an insole...also arrived much faster than I expected.

I love these boots! After contemplating the much more expensive Huntress boots I just couldn't justify the price. The Tretorns are true to size, nice looking and comfy. When I wear them it's for the day. I have large calves and these are great even with jeans tucked in. Couldn't be happier.

Very durable! Finally a pair of boots that don't feel like they'll fall apart if you run around all day.

Great rain boot! Has some insulation/padding and is a nice height. If you are looking to put a boot liner in it, you will need to buy a taller liner, as these boots are taller.

I usually wear a size 8, but I bought a size 7 in these boots and they fit my feet nicely. I decided to go down a size because I previously bought a pair of Tretorn boots in my usual size and my feet would slide around in them, which resulted in some pretty horrible blisters! These boots have done a lot better, although my feet still do slide around somewhat. I would just suggest wearing very thick socks with these. Overall, I love these boots! They are easy to get off and on and the lining on the inside keeps my feet very warm on cold days.

Finally! I ordered the original Hunter three different times hoping that they would work for me. As it turned out, the boots rubbed my left ankle. Regardless of the size or width, the style just didn't work for my ankle anatomy. These, however, are perfect. I normally wear a 9.5 and based on reviews ordered these in a 9. They are just big enough to allow room for a pair of thick wool socks. I have not tested them outside yet. Another reason these are a little more appealing than the Hunter boot is the adjustable strap. It's functional, not just cosmetic. Zappos was wonderful in free next day shipping and all of my returns!

These are very cute and comfortable. I love the contrast color and buckle at the top, which gives you a little more style, and sizeability if you need it. The inside is amazingly warm and soft and comfortable, almost too warm. They also have a great removable soft insole that would make it more comfortable to wear all day. Since they do not have half sizes I ordered a 6 to try and I was surprised it was so roomy, since I am usually a 6½. If you have narrow feet you would probably need very thick socks. Sadly they just did not fit me right, but I wish they did and I am ordering another style of Tretorn because it looks like they have great product quality!

I bought these because I hoof it about 4 miles a day and needed a good word-horse boot. They have not disappointed. They are supportive and comfortable, and also keep my feet nice and toasty in the rain.

Just got my Tretorn rain boots. Love them! So comfortable and the inside is nice and soft. Best part is the adjustable strap on the calf seeing as I tend to have a larger calf than normal. They are extremely stylish and can be worn with leggings/skinny jeans and look like normal boots.

Great rain boot! I'm normally a 6.5 but since these are whole sizes, and since I have a wide foot and bigger calves, I went up to a 7 - they are almost too big, but great with thick socks. But they do seem to run big, so beware. They are super comfortable and cute! I m wearing them today on a rainy New York day, and my feet stayed completely dry.

Probably one of my best purchases this year. Easy to get on and get off. I had ordered a pair of Hunters to compare and, in my opinion, Tretorns are far superior in terms of quality, style, and comfort.

Best boot ever. After buying two other pairs and having these shoes end up way too small or too big, these were like my Cinderella boot. They were perfect. I actually put them to use the day I got them, as we had to do some grading of the land on our property and it had just rained. Then that same weekend, we got caught in a torrential downpour at a fair. I remained dry at all times. My husband at first made fun of my "galoshes," but now wants a pair himself! Super comfortable and can easily fit skinny jeans inside. Easy to get on and off. They have become my go-to boot for everything. HIGHLY recommend them.

I have pretty muscular calves, and I usually cannot fit into any boots or rain boots. but this boot is amazing! And they are the perfect height. I am 5'0" and these fit me like a glove! In my opinion, there is not much of arch support.

Outstanding! It's been pouring rain here for a couple of days, so I couldn't have found these boots at a better time. They fit great, they're comfortable, they keep my feet and legs totally dry -- and they look adorable! Who knew rain boots could be so cool?

These boots are made of very thick rubber. They are sturdy and well worth the price. I have a larger calf and the legs are large enough for even my thicker pants. In summer I would not want to wear them all day as they are quite warm. But they protect me from tall weeds and mucky ground. I have already recommended them to friends. These are for utility, not for style. But they do not look like a rugged man's boot.

Every review I read stated that I should go up a size. I'm normally a size 9 1/2 so I ordered a 10. Way too big. Returning.
