Has enough room for my what I thought were normal size calves. I suppose they aren't relative to all the other boots I tried. These fit great.

Very happy with this purchase. I don't think I have giant calves, and yet a lot of these boots are hard on me...too tight around the leg (am sending back a Chinese Laundry pair for that reason, and was hoping not to spend Hunter money). These were perfect and cute.

Like other reviewers had mentioned...I usually wear a 12. Ordered this boot in an 11 and it fits perfectly! I've gotten lots of compliments. Feels sturdy, like it will hold up for a while.

Took these on a 3 day BWCA canoe trip and only took them off to sleep - very comfortable, sturdy, leakproof!

These boots were recommended from a tour guide in Canada. I ordered a larger size than usual as I have problem feet. They are very comfortable. I will be taking them with me on a journey to the BC Great Bear Rain Forest in July. I will probably have more to say after the trip. Right now, very stylish and very pleased!

Loved them. I have larger calves from years of biking/running so often times boots don't fit my calves but these did!

Love them, hard to take off. They have come in handy a number of times. Great buy. Not tight at all on calves. Plus they are adjustable.

I normally wear a 6 but after reading the other comments, I decided to other a 5. I'm so glad I did! Fits perfectly! Enough room to wear thick socks and I have plenty of room to tuck in jeans. Love these boots!

I ordered these after I had to return the Hunter boots I ordered. These have a bit more give in the calf, and are adjustable. A good quality boot, I would recommend buying it! I ordered a 38 (I'm usually a 7 1/2 - 8) for a tighter fit, and can still wear wool socks in them.

We've been having a lot of rain so I'm looking forward to testing these. We also visit family in Scotland periodically, so these should be fine there too! Thanks to other customers for this idea: orthotics and sports socks make the boot fit better! My usual shoe size is 6 and I ordered the 37.

Love these boots! So comfy, definitely waterproof, and ever so lightly fleece lined for a little extra warmth in the cold. This is actually my second pair because my first pair split on one of the toe seems. The new pair seems to be holding up just fine. The calf space is nice and wide, great for wearing extra layers. If you want that "Hunter" skinny look, these are not the boot. But just depends on what you prefer. I also wear a cushioned insert in them just to add a little arch support since I wear them for long stretches at a time. Works like a charm. Highly recommend Tretorn!

This was my first purchase of rain boots, so I did not know what to look for. I think the boots are too large and my heel rubs against the back, which is really uncomfortable after a while. I am not sure if this is how all rain boots are, but they are pretty stiff and uncomfortable. They are pretty warm too, which is fine when it is cold out but not so much when it is warm out. I figured these flaws were just how rain boots were but I could not put up with it anymore. I cannot return them since I have worn them a few times. I ended up buying Spring Step Summit boots to replace these and I am glad that I did.

The boots are stylish and I usually looked forward to wearing them out. However, the boots are not as durable as expected. Less than half-a-year after the purchase, quite a few tears happened and had to be fixed with shoe goo. I wear these rain boots in rain, snow and winter weather, and these boots could not handle all those conditions. So if you're looking for rainboots that are durable enough for all conditions, I wouldn't recommend these boots.

Was having trouble finding 'Wellies' that fit my high arch, high instep, size 11 foot and 16 inch calf. These have a generous shaft which accommodates my calf however will still be snug to tuck jeans in. Unlike other boots, the shape of this shaft allowed me to easily slide my high instep foot down into the foot bed. The foot bed is comfortably roomy but not overly roomy-could wear a medium sock, but not a thick sock. I didn't find them to be a size too big like other reviewers did. Wear an 11 and bought an 11. Well constructed. Cute style. Love the boot. Can't wait for the first Spring rain to wear them!

I really like these rain boots. However, I originally ordered a size 8 and they were extremely large. I exchanged them for a size 7 and they fit perfectly.

I brought these for the weather that is sure to come. I have not worn them yet, because they look very nice, and I like them.

I love these boots! I typically wear a size 9 (US) and ordered that size. They fit perfectly. There is plenty of room in the leg of the boot. The insole is very comfortable, as well! I wore them all day at a flea market and my feet did not hurt after hours walking around.

These are roomy, sturdy boots. If you don't want to wear thick socks with them, order a size down. Great for slogging through mud, working in the garden, perfect for what I wanted. As always, Zappos has wicked customer service, fast shipping and great products.

Boots were cute, but did not give any room to tuck pants in along with my 16" calves. Returning them and going to try the Hunter Huntress rainboots.

I just got these boots today, and they are great! They are so cute, I love the contrasting color behind the buckle. And they are very comfortable and fit well on my feet. My favorite thing about them, though, is that they fit over my calves! I tried the Hunter boots but they were not even close to fitting over my calves. Don't get me wrong, I don't have huge calves; I am just athletic and actually have a little bit of muscle in my legs. These boots fit over my muscular calves, they are adorable, they come up to just a little below the knee...perfect. (I am from Seattle, so I know quality rain gear when I see it!)

I was debating between these and the similar Hunter boots. The others always fit just a little too tightly around the calf, and the measurements on these were slightly shorter and slightly wider. And they worked perfectly.

These have been a life saver this winter. It's been perfect for the snow, rain and icy conditions. Last year during major snow storms I fell a few times. Have not had this problem this year with these boots (knock on wood). The shoes are a little heavy, but I like to think I'm getting a work out while I walk. Style-wise, they aren't as stylish as Hunter boots, but I think they are still nice looking and I have worn them with a dress. I've gotten compliments on them.
