Cute. Comfy right out of the box. I generally wear a 7 or 7.5, and the 7.5 worked best.

I'm extremely happy with these. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them and didn't need breaking in. As others have noted, the foot is a bit loose and (on me) the calf is a bit tight (I usually wear a 6.5 or 7, bought the 7). This gives them a bit of a galoshes-like look, but I found it charming. Others may disagree.

I have this boot in brown and recently bought it in black. It is comfortable and I can wear my orthotic and socks. I did need to buy half a size larger than normal.

I love these boots. I have them in brown, and regular wear (at least once a week, 3 seasons of the year) has given them a gorgeous vintage scuffed-up look that makes them even more distinctive. People are constantly complimenting me on them, and they're always amazed to learn that they're basically fancy leather high-tops. They're ridiculously comfortable -- of course they are, they're Merrells! -- and they were easy to walk in even from the very first day. I'm tempted to buy a second pair and stash them away.

A great waterproof boot. Very much in style. And so comfortable. They are true to size.

I bought these for my daughter (she is a teacher) and they are super. Low heel for comfort and being on your feet for all day, but very cute with skirts.

Great all weather boot without the look of a clunky rainproof boot. This product is very comfortable and the leather gets more character as it wears. Great product and runs true to size! I wear a 6.5 or a 7 so I ordered the 6.5 and find it fits perfectly.

These boots are really comfortable and cute, and you can even dance in them! I have broad feet and usually wear a size 38 (US 7.5), and this one felt a teensy bit big, particularly at the toe box. I'm sure they'll be perfect once I get to wearing thicker socks.

These boots are comfy and stylish, and they have a removable insole that accommodates my orthodics. They look great with leggings and skinny jeans tucked in, and skirts and dresses, too!

I have wide feet and found these to be the most comfortable of the 4 boots I ordered to try. The foot bed is just shy of feeling like a sneaker and the toe box is a bit wider than the average boot.

Very comfortable boot, has a neat army style with the straps that run around the back of the boot. You could walk for miles in these boots right out of the box. They were also very supportive. Just wish they didn't come up quite as high as they did, I like when boots come right at the bottom of the calf muscle, and show it off.

I'm on my second pair of these amazing boots. Insanely comfortable, breaks in quickly, all weather. The waterproofing starts to give after about a year, but I wear these solidly through 3 seasons (and rainy summer days). These are totally true to size. I have medium feet and these are perfecto. My legs are kind of chubby, and these stretch out after a couple of wearings to zip up quickly. I teach and these are my perfect, 10 hours on my feet, boots.

Cute, comfortable and stylish, but ran large. Normally I purchase a size 8 so I have room for my custom orthodics, but even with additional insole, the boot was too big. Quality was nice, so I will try a size 7 1/2 in this trendy, but neutral little boot.

I love this boot's versatility - jeans, skirts, rolled jeans, leggings, cropped pants, skirts with stockings, you name it! I wear a size 11 narrow, and finally have found a boot that is narrow enough in the heel to not slip. Also, I love how lightweight it is. I can see myself walking in the city for hours without any foot pain. They are very comfortable, and hit my arch at just the right spot. Toe room is just right. I like the sleekness of them, but also the details that give them an edge. I find that they are not too high and not too low. I can wear them under my boot cut jeans without it appearing that I have boots on. The only down-side for me is that I have a narrow calf, and they are bit roomy, but not as roomy as other boots I have tried. I am excited about adding these to my winter wardrobe. Oh, and the fact that they are waterproof is such a great bonus! Thank you Zappos for great service as always. I call you all my personal shoe store, and recommend you to all my friends. You make a size 11 narrow girl feel like she is not alone!

I get lots of compliments on this boot from my high school students. I have seldom found a boot that fits big enough in the leg, but here it is. Added bonus, it really keeps your feet dry -- even if you step into a deep puddle! I live in the Puget Sound region and it has been put to the test! My only criticism is that the buttons pop off if you like to tuck your leg up under you when you sit like me.

I love these boots! Perfect fit and very comfortable. They are so cool looking. I have been reading reviews all over about these and was wary. Some people loved them and some people couldn't get their foot in the boot and it didn't fit their calves. Well, I had no problem. I'm 8 1/2 and my calves are pretty full.

Versatile boots can go from a skirt to snow shoes with style and comfort. My only complaint is one of the buttons fell off the first week I had them. It would be a simple repair if I had the button.

These run small. I usually wear a 6-6½ and I had to get the 7! Also, I wish they came up to the knee.

I love the boots - and get tons of compliments; however, I've had 3 (!) of the snaps fall off, and they're only a year-ish old. Too bad, because they're awesome. And waterproof. And stylish! Just wish they stayed together a little better.

Three things. These run small, they show wear easily and the calf is way tight! I was so sad about these boots. They're really cute and wonderfully made, but are definitely not a good idea for anyone with wider-than-normal calves and they run small. I'm normally a 9.5 and initially sent these back because the boot was way tight and I couldn't wear it with socks, let alone getting it zipped up. But even a full size up didn't help. Eventually had to return them, which is sad, because they're really cute. Also to note, after I squeezed my foot into the first pair, I instantly saw creasing/signs of wear. My cousin has a pair of these and also reports back that they age quickly. I'm in the market for another pair of Earth boots (which are wonderful) or some Keens.

These are super cute and I am excited to that they are waterproof (or even resistant). Once I get them on my feet I find them quite comfortable; but it is a big challenge to get my foot into them. I don't have a high instep like one of the reviewers who also mentioned her difficulty on getting it on. I also can't wear anything but very thin socks with them. I have a little less than 15-inch calf and up until now felt my foot was pretty average and easy to fit. Maybe I am not used to boot, but these aren't as comfortable for me they seem to be for everyone else.

I love this boot so much. I live in Seattle, where it rains a lot and they're highly water resistant (waterproof is a term I reserve for wellies and submarines). I can walk for miles in them comfortably even with my super high arches and bunions, I can ride my bike in them and they don't slip on the pedals, the soles are non-slip on many surfaces even when wet. My only problem with them is that I've had mine for about a year now and worn them almost daily in the cooler months and the soft rubber sole is already worn down and the button on one of the straps popped off. But they're so comfortable and water resistant that I bought a second pair. If they made them more durable then they'd be a 5 star boot for sure.

Cute boot but the shaft is really wide. My calf is 13" at the widest point and even with skinny jeans tucked in, I could still fit my whole hand (up to my wrist) into the boot. Toe box is also pretty wide.

Broad foot pad area, unlike the Merrell Spire Peaks, which have a slim footprint. These fit larger calves better than the Spire Peak. They look good with jeans and are warm in cooler temperatures. However, they seem to lack the bouncy cushion I came to love in the Spire Peaks.

I love this boot. They don't look so thick and wide on your foot as in the picture, but have a great steampunk/military look to them. I ordered an 8.5 (roughly my usual size, depending on brand), and the foot bed fit beautifully with and without thicker socks. But even with just leggings or thin socks the shaft fit very snugly around my calf. I decided to send them back and try the 9, but there was almost no difference at all in the shaft size (a very helpful Zappos employee said there was a 1/8" difference), and then the foot bed and ankle was too loose and it hurt to walk in them. My calves aren't especially large, and it's possible these would have stretched (the leather feels great, though it does scuff very easily), but my calves are big because I walk a lot and can't handle break-in time. I am sending them back.
