Very comfortable! Love the brown...bought the black last year and the color was flat! Hard to dress up. But not the brown.

Bought these boots the same day I wore them 8 hours on the job (RN -- we wear street clothes on our unit) and the are now officially the most comfortable shoes I own. Not to mention they look really cool!

These boots are neither the chicest nor dowdiest boot one could buy. However, they are super comfortable and keep the feet dry. In the photo online they look really wide in the calf, but they aren't as big as I thought. They fit, but I liked the idea of an edgier, motorcycle boot with a wide calf.

I absolutely love these boots! They are the perfect shaft height if you are petite and they are unbelievably comfortable! I have trudged around in the rain and snow with these for over a year and they still look new! They look great with pants, dresses and skirts. They are extremely versatile boots. In the winter I wear them to work nearly every day. They are well worth the investment as I am sure I will be wearing these for the next 10 years!

I love these boots so much. I have never been able to fit into calf high boots before because either my arch was to high to slide my foot in or it was to tight on my calf. But these boots solve both of those problems. I teach high school and my students give me tons of compliments but then adults do too. And the waterproof is true. Tacoma really puts them to the test and they hold up! My feet were getting cold, but then I started wearing a thin pair of cotton socks under my tights and then my feet stay toasty. My only complaint is that I am the kind of person who likes to tuck my foot up and sit on it. That finished off the buttons. And after a year of wearing them four times a week for six months, the zipper pulls came off and started eating my expensive tights. So, I save those for wearing to my kids soccer games with jeans and bought a second pair of black ones. No tucking means they hold up much better. Now I am trying to convince my husband that I deserve a brown pair too.

Love these. Only regret is that I didn't buy these years ago. Comfy, stylish, waterproof, and oh-so-versatile for that oh-so-variable San Francisco weather.

These boots are great for narrow feet and slim calves (there is a bit of space between the boot and my leg, but not enough to look weird with tights, and loose enough to go over pants). The color does fade after a few weeks, but a bit of polish will bring it back to shine. I wore them in all kinds of weather this winter, and they were waterproof and warm, even without wool socks.

Very cute and comfortable walking boots. I have had these for a few years, and always get lots of compliments. They're most comfortable with light or medium weight socks. Love them so much I just ordered a second pair.

I love this boot! We live in Seattle, so I use the boot about half of the year. Even during my son's rainy baseball games, my feet stay warm (but not hot) and stay perfectly dry.

No break-in period, super comfortable and looks great too! Definitely waterproof and great for taking long walks in the rain. Only downside is that the sole doesn't offer much traction if it gets gunked up with mud (versus say, hiking boots with Vibram soles). I very nearly slipped and fell after walking through some muddy tracts in a park. Other than that, it's a terrific boot!

Worth of every cent. Waterproof, cute, comfortable. I've worn these so much since I've gotten them. Highly recommended for walking in the rain.

Love these boots! They work with jeans and casual skirts and have just enough style so that they aren't boring! And super comfy.

These boots are very cute in-person and the fit is great, even for my wide feet. The first day I walked over 2 miles in them and didn't have any soreness. However, the first pair I received were not waterproof after a walk in light rain! I contacted Zappos and was promptly sent a replacement pair - they are much better. It must have been a fluke!

I have had these boots for 3 years and they're only just starting to show a little wear. I wore them often too. well worth the money! I love them so much, I just bought a second pair. there is enough room inside to remove the insert and add an orthotic. I have large calves, and these are the only leather boots I can wear with jeans tucked in to them. also, I have wide feet and these are wide enough for me. almost all of my friends have these boots too, we are all huge fans! we get compliments on them everywhere we go.

I knew I loved Merrell boots and shoes, but this pair surpassed my expectations! The way they hold my feet is so comfortable, both supportive and soft. They are distinctive looking and attractive, to boot. I'm tempted to order another pair for years down the road when this pair has wear and tear. I true find!

These are beautiful, functional shoes, perfect for rainy Seattle. I love the rich brown color; it was exactly what I was looking for. Very high-end looking. At size 9, the ankle is really roomy, so my heel slides up and down a bit - inserts helped a lot, but the back of my heel gets sore when I walk a few miles in these. I hope I'll get used to it. At size 9, the calf is really roomy, which adds to the cute rainboot-esque look, but it took a little getting used to. I can cuff the bottom of my pants once or twice, and they still fit inside the shaft. I also wear these with skirts all the time, and they look wonderful. The toe scuffs easily, but the marks smooth out if I rub them with a cloth and some mink oil.

I love this boot so much, I own it in both colors. Super comfortable - I've spent entire trips walking in this shoe and have never once gotten a blister. The fact that it's waterproof makes it one of my favorite travel shoes. I have small calves and love the fact that the width is very narrow, but I could see how that might be a negative for some people. I can tuck skinny, stretchy jeans in but nothing thicker.

Love, love, love these boots! They are warm, waterproof and super-comfortable. I ordered a size up in order to fit a tennis shoe insert inside them and can walk in them in every type of weather all day. There is plenty of room in the calf so you don't need super-tight jeans to wear with them. Excellent purchase!

These are wonderful boots! They are super comfortable and I always get compliments on them. I can walk in them all day and nothing rubs and there are no uncomfortable pressure points. Love the comfort and style. The only caution is that they fit fairly closely on the leg, so for me, that means I cannot tuck pants into them. That is okay -- I wear them with cropped pants or skirts sometimes to show off the detail, and I also wear them underneath longer pants too.

Beautiful color, soft leather, waterproof. I love the fasteners up the back. A little extra space at the top of boot around my calf, but not causing it to slouch. Room for me to grow if needed ;). Also room for a low profile insole for added arch support. Because the leather is soft, I would recommend treating it before first-wear with some sort of oil to protect against scuffing. These will be wonderful during wet weather in Alaskan streets. I'd buy them in Black too if I walked to a serving job everyday.

I normally find merrells shoes to fit a little tightly. These boot was more true to size than they normally are. They are also less supportive than my other merrells. Still comfy, though. I have wide calves, about 17 inches, and in a size 10 the calves were tight but doable. I love the way these boots look and I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. The waterproofing seems to be very effective.

These boots are awesome. The first day I wore them, I wound up hiking all over Italy - I figure I probably walked about 11 miles that afternoon. I think these are the first shoes I've ever worn where after a full day of walking, my feet barely hurt. Also, these are the best rain boots ever. While in Rome, it was raining every day, and - unlike my friends - my feet were still dry, even after stepping in a 4 inch deep puddle! Best of all - they're really cute!

These boots are great. Very comfy and easy to get off and on. I had a really hard committing to them though. I ordered them and didn't wear them out for 2 weeks. I just kept thinking I'd find something better for cheaper at my local stores but nothing could compare with the look, feel and quality of the Merrells. My only complaint is that they are snug on my calf and I have seriously scrawny legs so I'm not sure what people with bigger calves would think. Otherwise they're super!
