I love these sandals in fact I have just bought a second pair (wore out the sole after six months of walking). I walk a lot in Manhattan and these are great - very comfortable and they don't slip at all.

Shoes are really comfy and feel like they have great support. Problem is the toe area is very narrow and my big toe hangs over.

I love this sandal (and all Merrell sandals). You can't go wrong with Merrell. This sandal is comfortable. I normally buy sandals that have no toe separator because they can rub but not these. They are soft and there is no break in time - just put them on and go.

This is a great shoe. Comfortable and stays on easily, doesn't slip around like some flip flops. I am on my second pair. Still using my first pair for gardening.

Love these! They are super comfortable. Even the middle piece that fits between your toes doesn't feel weird or hurt in any way. (I think it's partially because the shape of the footbed goes up a bit versus down.) Anyway, I put these on the day I got them and wore them all day. They support your food and have a comfy landing area in the heel and the ball of your foot. I'm thinking of buying another pair and putting them away until these wear out!

Love Merrell thongs. Hard to find Gardena style. I knew I could rely on Zappos. Very comfortable. Can wear all day long. Can wear with casual and semi dressy because of the leather.

I had these Merrell sandals several years ago and wore them out. When I could not find them again I was very disappointed. They were the only sandal to fit comfortably with my high instep.Then a friend suggested I try Zappos. Yes! I found the very sandal I had loved and bought them in black, brown and white! Zappos filled my order quickly and when I had to return a blouse I also ordered they took care of that too - free returns! Thank you for a great experience.

This is my fourth pair of Gardena thongs. I wear them during the summer because they cute and comfortable all day. I wear them around the house all winter because they keep my feet comfortable as we have all tile and wood floors. They are perfect for me as I have narrow feet. I hope they keep making these as they are my favorite of all time.

These are very comfortable, and are my second pair of this style. My actual size is 8.5 M but the 8 fit perfectly. They are not as loose-fitting as other flip-flops and feel more secure on my feet when I am driving. I wish there were more colors available, I would have bought another pair if they had some brights.

I was searching for shoes with great support to wear to my classroom each day. These shoes were so comfortable that I ordered another pair in a different color.

Flip without the Flop! I've worn thong sandals ever since college -- always backless, based on the Japanese Zori sandal. These Merrels are the best designed models I've ever seen. The foot bed molds to the foot. The elastic on top gently holds the foot in place, and the result is a well fitted, cool looking shoe. You have all the benefits of the flip, but without the flop. I have four pairs, and hope Merrell is smart enough to go right on making the Gardena forever! As to those who don't wear thong sandals because they hurt, well, of course they do, for a little while -- so does learning to play the guitar! You get tiny invisible calluses between the toes, but these, that you get in a few wearings, you never lose. Enjoy!

Great sandal. I have various colors in the gardena thong. This year the style is a little different. Very comfortable.

This is a very comfortable sandal even though it seems a tad narrow. The top is part leather and part stretchy fiber which makes for a nice fit.

This is an excellent sandal for people who have a narrower foot. I didn't realize how much room my foot had in other sandals. It's snug without being too tight and the leather conforms very well to the foot. I put this on my Favorites list.

I always love Merrell sandals. I've had the Gardena before and find it comfortable and supportive and true to size.

Just received my second pair of the Gardena...and will be ordering another pair in brown. Love the comfort, style and fit. Highly recommend these to all! Great also for walking long distances, indeed, still with comfort!

These shoes are wonderful...so cushioned and comfortable right out of the box. This is my second pair; I wore the first pair out! Highly recommend, especially for those who need arch support and stability.

Bought these for my mother (82) after buying a pair for myself. We will never go back to the cheap. These are worth every penny, and more. They fit like a glove (I have narrow feet, my mom has medium width) and they were comfortable from day one.

I have always heard positive things about Merrell shoes and decided to try them myself. I need support and cushion and have found both with these shoes!
