I bought the black version of this sandal at a Merrell outlet. It was so comfortable that even though I really wanted brown (which they were out of) I bought it anyway. Then I went on Zappos.com and found the same shoe in my size in brown and ordered it on the spot. I do like the brown, but will say that it is not quite as comfortable as the black. The brown is a little scratchier between the toes and the footbed is not as soft to the touch as the black. This is due to the different materials used in the construction of the two different colors. But either way, this is a very comfortable sandal. Cushier and more supportive than most slip on sandals, and it still looks very stylish. Size-wise I ended up with an 8, where I'd usually go with an 8.5, but that may be because it was an open style.

These shoes are the best. I am on my feet all day with my job and these are the only shoes that I wear to work. I also wear them for pleasure as well. I would recommend anyone with any kind of knee problems...try these...Feel great and look great too...what a deal.

Wearing Merrell shoes have saved my feet! This sandal is very comfortable right out of the box. Since I got them and started to wear them I have not given my feet a moment of thought! That's good because nothing hurts and I can walk without thinking how far I need to go! These are attractive enough for work and play.

This is the most comfortable thong sandal I have ever owned. It is so cute that I just bought a second pair to put away in case they become unavailable. It is true to size and contains stretch for wider or higher foot beds. My feet are both wide and high, but the styling would accommodate almost all foot types. You won't be sorry!

I have been buying and returning sandals all spring as I search for the perfect sandal for traveling this summer. I have rather wide, flat feet so I am always looking for shoes that combine good looks with comfort and arch support. Usually, thongs lack sufficient arch support for a day of touring and walking, but I could tell that these Merrells are different. First of all, the sole has a pretty good arch, but more importantly, the part that wraps around the foot hits me right by the arch and adds a lot of additional support. They were extremely comfortable from the moment that I put them on my feet and have a lot more "spring" and style than the Birkenstocks that I was planning on wearing full time. A very nice sandal, indeed!
