I was hoping to like these as much as I do my other pair of Birkenstocks but they were not very comfortable. I can only wear them for A short amount of time. The top of the shoe really rubs on my toes and it’s painful. I expected more for the price I paid.

Birkenstocks are supposed to be unbuckled and unworn when they are returned; that way, the new owner can make their own adjustments without feeling like they're wearing someone else's shoes. :( These were buckled when they arrived and the previous person must have had one narrow foot, buckled all the way to the end of the shoe. I felt like I was trying on seconds. These go back and may try again. :(

I am exchanging this pair as the marrow is just too narrow. I don’t consider my feet wide, as a woman, but the narrow in these were definitely more narrow than my Mayari in Regular. The toe box was very narrow and cut sharply. My feet spilled over a little bit on the sides. The oiled tobacco is gorgeous though and I am exchanging for the same pair in size Regular. I am always a woman’s 8, except in Birkenstock I wear a 38 (US 7-7.5.) I highly suggest going into a store for a fitting before buying (or just utilize Zappos amazing CS and exchange policy!) I have a pair of Birks in the oiled leather and in the Birko Flor. While the Birko Flor is fun and a bit dressier, I’m not a huge fan of the fuzziness and feel they won’t last as long as the leather. The leather did take longer to break in, but is now so comfortable!

Size chart is wrong. I ordered my normal US size and had to exchange them for a size smaller. I've had them a week and they are still not broken in yet... I hope it happens quick because I don't know how much longer I can take the blisters and pain. I hope they are worth the pain, like so many people have said.

I love that the ugly shoe trend is in. I’ve been wanting Birkenstock sandals for a while and finally tried this classic style. I know they run big, but they are HUGE. I normally wear a 5 so I ordered the 35. It looked like I was a kid playing dress up in my parents’ shoes. But the footbed was so comfortable I didn’t want to give up. I actually tried to get them in kids but the next size down only comes in limited styles and I just couldn’t walk around in Disney princess shoes.

I ordered Euro #38 for my 7.5/8 Med foot & this style was huge, about 1 size larger!

Zappos is an excellent company to deal with. When you hear about quality service today,zappos is #1. I had several exchanges to be made and their customer service representative Darlene was exceptional. Thank you for being a company today that provides excellent service to its customers.

These feel like the soft footbed but are not marked as such. I find that the soft footbeds have too much arch support and not enough depth in the heel cup. Also, I received one narrow width and one regular in the same box.

I wanted to love this shoe. I put it on and it looked so good, rustic with a nice brown against my tan foot. It also felt good until I started moving. The straps are stiff and scratchy. I know after a lot of time and a lot of blisters they'd be really comfortable. I don't have the patience.

I have had these shoes for a week and am still breaking them in. They feel nice to stand in but very uncomfortable for longer walks. I have flat feet and get blisters on the sides of my feet while wearing these. Hopefully they will break in and become as comfortable as people mention in other reviews.

Unfortunately, after ordering the Arizona in two different sizes it appears that I am not going to be able to become a Birkenstock kind of person. Size 44 (US 11-11½) was way to big for my feet. The specific locations for your toes, arch and heel mean you pretty much have to have the right size. Next I tried size 43 (US 10-10½). At first my feet seemed to fit right into the correct locations, but it soon became apparent that my toes were too close to the front rim of the footbed and my heels were too close top the back rim. As I walked around my house I would occasionally come down with my toes or heel right on the rim, causing not just inconvenience but actual pain. The Arizona does not come in half sizes, so I guess that will have to be the end of my quest.

Please note: These shoes are not really "Black", they are more of a "Charcoal grey" color. At first I was disappointed, but I decided to keep them anyway because the charcoal color is very pretty. But be warned, if you're wanting a truly "Black" leather upper, these will be more grey.

My first pair of Birkenstocks. I have to admit the feel a bit clunky. On my size 10 feet, I can't really say they are "cute." I need to wear them more to get them to mold better to my feet, but they are comfortable and good for quick slip on shoes for the camp/lake. I bought my regular size and wish I had bough a half size down. the leather straps are too loose and can't tighten enough. An extra hole or two on the strap would be good, but that may not work given the strap gets wider so wouldn't fit through buckle.

Unfortunately the color of the leather was way lighter than it appeared on my screen. It is a very pretty turquoise, but not really what I wanted. Also, there was a spot at the back of one of the sandals where the leather footbed wasn't glued down to the cork, so alas, I will be returning them. I would probably buy the turquoise if it ever went on sale, but full price was a bit too much for me to spend for such a novelty color.

ALthough the box said Narrow, with socks on, the fit was too sloppy

I usually wear a keen sandal size 9.5 (which is what I ended up ordering after these did not work.) I felt the base was narrow but I had the straps as tight as they could go. The straps felt good but it felt like my foot was going to come off of the base.

This size is supposed to fit women's size 8-81/2 but they were huge and very very wide.

Sandals are overall too big.

Received the shoes in a plastic bag rather than the Birkenstock box. Buckles were not open and the label missing. Obviously previously worn. Returned to Zappos and will order directly from Birkenstock this time

This is the third pair of Birkenstocks sandals I have had to return for being excessively wide. I ordered regular width, and I do not have a narrow foot, yet the shoes were falling off even with the straps fully tightened. I have had Birkenstocks in the past and this has never been a problem before. Also, this was clearly a pair that was returned, and it was not well packed at all. It looks like a pair of use shoes.

The leather and footbed in these Berks is very hard. Rubbed and gave me a blister in top of each foot. Have no idea how long it will take to break them in.

I ordered the narrow, and the length and width were fine. However, these were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on. I have low arches and the arch area of the shoe was very painful for me. I think if you have normal to high arches, this shoe would be much better. For low arches or flat feet, I don’t recommend.
