I have been wearing Birkenstock for many years and own a few pairs at same time. Even my old shoes are still wearable, so I donate them with confidence that they will make someone else's feet happy too. Can't be without a pair when traveling. I am a loyal Birkenstock buyer because they continue to provide comfort and reliability.

These shoes are wonderful for over-pronation! They help so much with arch support and comfort. They do take a little while to break in, but they are worth the wait!

It's the pair of shoes I always wanted in high school that I could never afford! Fine German engineering once again. Love 'em.

I was searching for a pair of sandals with width WIDE. We did not like the look of the ones in the WIDE section. We tried a pair of Birkenstock in Narrow and found that a bit wider would work. So we ordered this shoe. This sandal is in M, AND works for somebody usually only wearing wide shoes. Nice leather, too. Not heavy or chunky.

I've worn this sandal for over 30 years. It fits my narrow, high arched, now aging feet perfectly. I have trouble with shoes that have no heel strap or support and these shoes are perfect. Where them from the first snow melt to the first snow fly. Only thing I change is the color.

I have been wearing Birkenstock Sandals for longer than I care to remember, I usually wear the Arizona, decided to Try the Milano and found the Milano to be an excellent Sandal, I love these sandals. Great shoe!

I generally wear a 7-1/2 Women's shoe, so I ordered the 38 and it was way too big. Easy return/exchange for the 37. My heel fits nicely in the cup. Contoured insole meshes with my foot. The bottom leather strap at the toe end is breaking in a little slowly so I've used bandaids until they reach the desired softness level.

Purchased many shoes from Zappos and have always received them quickly. Items were always as described. Return policy really works! Had to return an unworn pair of shoes 7 months after purchase and received full refund.

Great style of Birkenstock - the back strap allows you to be more active without the sandal sliding off. Takes a while for the straps to break in, gave me a few blisters until they softened up. The oiled brown leather looks great with any color outfit.

Great sandals. Its been years since my last pair of Birkenstocks. I tried many other sandals since. I'm back with the Birks and wish I hadn't waited so long. Very comfortable. Very convenient and top quality.

Despite wearing shoes for decades, I ordered the wrong size. I figured well, they say they'll take them back, so, no prob, but it'll take a while. Probably, about a week, maybe a bit more. Two days later, I had the new ones. Even if the shoes sucked, that'd be amazing. As it happens, they don't -- I really like them. So, to sum up: Nice product, decent price, stellar service? What's not to like? Answer: (No fair peeking): Nothing!

I first got Birkenstocks in the 90s and I loved them because I have wide feet and like functional shoes I can walk miles in without any pain. Now I'm in my 50s. I ordered two similar shoes: Birkenstock's Milano (Oiled Leather) and SAS Relaxed Comfort Sandal (Teddy). The SAS' are so much more comfortable than the Birkenstocks. Huge difference. The Birkenstocks are much harder underfoot and the ridge under the toes (which I believe is to help you ever so slightly grip the shoe with your toes) is quite uncomfortable. It could be that young feet with more fat/cushioning won't mind the difference but for me the SAS are the clear winner.

They were nicely made but a size longer and wider than mosr shoes considered a women's size 10

I bought these for my 9 year old son. These are the only Birkenstock sandals in non-kid sizes that has a back strap. The size seems to run true to the brands sizing. (His other Birkenstock sandals are the same size, 37.) My recommended size is also 37, but I always size up to 38 in Birkenstock. My feet are rather wide, so that could be the reason. Definitely size up if you have wide feet AND tend to be in between sizes. Half sizes would’ve been great!

I have loved Birkenstocks for decades. The materials are superior, the workmanship great. They just don't fit my foot anymore. One of my toes hangs over the edge of the footbed - in a way that will surely be uncomfortable for walking, and make the sandal wear out much sooner. Such a shame - I really wanted these to work for me.

Unfortunately I had to return these because they run big.

The sandals were true to size, all around. The leather is stiff, but that's to be expected. Would be nice if there was a means to soften it up a bit as the leather edges do dig a bit into parts of your foot, causing some discomfort. Also...a HUGE improvement would be to offer the same sandal with hook and loops. You can't position the holes for the buckles to be perfect for all feet, whereas hook and loops allow the wearer to make perfect adjustments to their feet.

My husband has been wearing Birkenstocks for years. He loves the Milano style. However, the soft footbed did not go over well. In my experience, they do not age well - compressing unevenly and making the shoes uncomfortable. With resoling and care, Birkenstocks can last for decades. However, the uneven wear of the soft footbed makes them unwearable within in year or two.

I had a left big toe injury and needed open toed shoe. They are very comfortable and the leather is excellent.
