I bought this for my son for Christmas. I had seen it in a North Face store but was unable to get it in the correct size. I was so happy to find it on Zappos and receive it the next day. Just what he wanted!

Order came next day, and free, as promised. Jacket fits great, had to adjust hood as it's pretty big, but once adjusted works great. Very breathable, my other rain jackets were like wearing plastic sauna bags.

This jacket works really well for me; it is light but a great windbreaker, and it's warm with a thin shirt. Also, I was in grizzly bear country so the color was great, it is a pretty color. I really like this purchase.

I decided it was time to ditch my old winter shell I had delegated to rain duty and finally get something lighter and packable dedicated to the task. \r\nFor me, the differentiating feature of this jacket over others I was considering was the Pit Zips. When you\'re stuck in the heat and rain, being able to get more ventilation into the jacket can make big differences in comfort.\r\nI pack this jacket wherever I go. The weight is light and comfort is great.\r\nI wear medium sizing typically, and ordered a medium. I found this sizing to work great, there is enough room that I have worn it over a fleece jacket comfortably.

I love this jacket! It is by far the best rain jacket I have ever owned. It really is breathable and very comfortable in all types of weather. I have actually purchased this jacket and the woman's version for 3 other people.

My adult son loves this jacket. We tried a few before we found this one. The jacket is lightweight and completely waterproof. Roomy, but not boxy. He normally wears a L, and that\'s what we bought. The exterior fabric is not plastic-y either. We needed a lightweight rain jacket for an upcoming trip to London. My son especially likes the color, a clear lovely cerulean, and the color will help me find him at Portobello Market if we get separated. Good buy!

It was three days before I was leaving for a trip to Costa Rica, and I made the last minute decision I needed a rain jacket. None of the stores in my area had a good selection, but Zappos came to the rescue (as always) and was able to get this jacket to me the next day. The jacket is awesome. I highly recommend it. It's definitely not for keeping you warm in really cold weather (at least not without other layers), but it will keep you dry. It is super breathable, so you don't get that wearing-a-poncho feel that a lot of rain jackets give. The zippered vents help with this enormously (something not present on the lower North Face models). The jacket is also feather light so you don't even notice it in your bag when you're not wearing it. Overall, an excellent purchase I'd recommend to anyone.

I have previously owned a North Face hooded Venture rain jacket and I loved it. Because it is lightweight, it is perfect to throw on when the weather looks like rain, or the temperature is cool enough to need an extra layer, but not too much. Also because it is so lightweight, it is perfect for traveling. It is easy to pack because it takes up such little space and it doesn't add much weight to your luggage. If it is chilly in the morning when you go sightseeing you can start off wearing it, then as the day warms up you can roll it up into a compact bundle and easily store it in a daypack or shoulder bag until needed again. It is stylish and fits well. I have taken it on two trips to Europe and it is one of standard things I pack for any trip. After about 5 years I decided I needed a new rain jacket and the North Face jacket still seemed to be the best choice for me. I highly recommend it!

Love it, okay fit... could be a bit slimmer but I guess once you have layers it makes sense. I've only worn it with a t-shirt under. Does the job well and remember, no insulation!

Does the job, keeps me dry and cuts the wind. The fit can accommodate a sweatshirt/hoody to be worn underneath. This jacket if for wind and rain, not warmth.

Wore in light rain, 58 degrees. It performed flawlessly on keeping dry. Okay for brisk walk at this temp. The 2 XL fits well over XL polar fleece. I would like to see it be 1.5 inches longer. I work outside rain or shine and am constantly in and out of the truck. I would also like to see it have a reversible zipper so you can unzip from the bottom for a little more room when jumping in the truck.

Very fast shipping service and very good free shipping both way policy. This product is good but I didn't know it's too thin like that, but my husband like that and he said that it's wind proof.

The jacket is light so you don't have to worry about bulk. Its not to heavy so I wouldn't rely on this jacket for cold temperatures but great for spring or fall weather.

Great rain jacket - completely waterproof, nice features - looks good. But not breathable - that almost seems like false advertising!

I used this jacket for a trip to Peru during the beginning of the rainy season in the Amazon. It replaces a bad poncho. This jacket works well, but unlike a poncho does not cover your legs. So in a torrential downpour a poncho would be best. The jacket is breathable. It's lightweight. It's packable. Its pockets are zippered. It is exactly as described.

This is a great year long rain jacket. In the fall and winter you will need a warm sweater or thermal under the jacket. A word of caution on sizes, I am normally a medium but needed a large, and with Velcro sleeves this was not a problem.

Good rain jacket. Very thin and perfect for an outer layer. If it\'s cold, you will need to add layers.

This jacket overall is fantastic. I worked at a summer camp and it rained unexpectedly a lot. Here's the deal on this one: it actually keeps you dry in rain. In a torrential down pour you are good, but after a while it might start to soak in. I mean no rain jacket is perfect, unless its 50,000,000 dollars. Secondly, you don't really get hot in it either. I sweat so much so this was a big concern for me, but I wear this with confidence. My only complaint is that it's a bit short. I wish the length was a bit longer. It gets you wet in awkward places because of it and at times just doesn't feel right.

It's very light. Maybe too light, I was hoping it to be a bit more sturdy. I don't exactly know the material it was made of but since it's like 'plastic', the friction between your arms and your body while walking will cause the jacket to make an annoying sound. It's light but it is of good quality though. Good for raining, but will only protect you from getting wet, not from getting cold. Definitely not for winter. Would recommend it if it was a little less pricey.

I am a female landscaper and I got this for rainy day gardening. It serves its purpose. I got it extra large so I could wear it over lots of layers. One problem with water-resistant stuff is that it doesn't breathe. This jacket is no different. I don't expect any waterproof clothing to breathe. One of the perils of working in the elements. My big gripe is that it doesn't have a two way zipper. Because I can't unzip it from the bottom up, it isn't easy to move around in. I have to pull it up to my waist before I can bend, crawl, rake etc. Major design flaw. Major. If it had a two way zipper, I would give it 5 stars.
