This is our third Venture from TNF, first from Zappos. Great service and the best price I have found for this jacket so far. The Venture is a great raincoat for FL, but I also use them for spring skiing in CO... that is where this one is headed for tomorrow, VAIL!!! Super lightweight for backpacking, yet tough enough to blast through trees, just remember this is not Gortex. All three are still in like new condition.

This jacket rocks. I bought it after returning a similar Columbia jacket, because it felt like I was wearing a plastic trash bag. The North Face liner has a textured feel which keeps it from feeling like plastic on your arms. Best rain jacket ever. Also serves well as a wind breaker over a fleece.

Wonderful shell jacket. It is lightweight so it functions in the heat, but with layers also functions in the cold. It is 100% waterproof, completely dry even in heavy rain. The hood is adjustable but difficult to completely roll-up, the pit-zip vents are great for extra ventilation. One tip for new customers: the sizes of this jacket seems to run a tad small. So if you are on the fence about which size to order, I'd suggest getting the next bigger size.

I love this jacket! It is perfect for jeans, sweats, pants, scrubs or whatever you feel like wearing. I just bought the blue, but I also have the black, red, and navy blue. The grey is next! More colors should be available for this style though!

I have owned the woman's version of this jacket for a few years so when my husband asked for a new raincoat for his birthday, I knew just what to order. This jacket is lightweight yet it is so effective in keeping you dry. It is great as a windbreaker on windy days too or good to layer. I think it is true to size (my husband wears an XL in shirts and even though his measurements would have put him in a North Face large, the XL is perfect). My husband loves it and has worn it several times already. North Face is well worth the money. Others may be cheaper, but if this jacket will last for years to come. On a side note, I got my husband the gray and it is a very nice color. Zappos customer service was outstanding and we got free upgraded overnight shipping.

Great Jacket!! Perfect weight, great coverage. Not too heavy and not too light. Is used throughout the year. Highly recommend!

Waterproof... oh yeah! The perfect travel jacket! I purchased this jacket at the last minute before a trip to San Francisco, and it definitely got a workout with the January rains. My whole family had on a variation of this coat while we hiked in the rain for 2 hours, and we were all completely dry.

I bought this jacket for my husband for Christmas. He wanted a jacket that he could fold up and go hiking with but if it started to down pour he would have appropriate protection. So far he is happy with it. My husband didn't want anything that would be heavy on him while he was hiking so the North Face Venture Jacket has really suited him perfectly. It is light, manageable, and water resistant.

I purchased this jacket for my 23 year old son at his request for a Christmas gift. This is his third North Face Men's Hooded Venture Jacket. He is crazy about this jacket!

Nothing fancy, just another quality jacket in the North Face tradition. Great room in the shoulders. I'm planning on keeping mine in my golf bag as my rain gear.

I bought this jacket for my son and was very happy with it.. We went to Costa Rica over winter break and it was the best. It worked well in the rain forest, when you wanted something light but would also keep you dry. We went ziplining and it was lightly raining, so it was great. \r\n\r\nMy son liked it so much that I was thinking that I should get one for myself. It was a great choice and I was very happy with it..\r\n\r\n Also, I loved that when I ordered it , it came very quickly. We were leaving 3 days after I ordered it. So it worked out great. A great jacket. My husband and I both have one now. Super light weight, very water resistant/waterproof.

I needed a waterproof shell for those days that are rainy but not exactly cold. I wanted to have the option of adapting my layers of clothing to the temperature as needed, and this little gem fits the bill perfectly.\r\nIt is completely waterproof, lightweight, and has underarm zippers that allow it to breath on muggier days without compromising its waterproof attributes. The adjustable height on the hood is also a big plus.\r\nGreat quality, as advertised, and as always, fantastic service from Zappos.

The North Face Venture jacket is the best lightweight rain jacket I have ever had, today I thought I might get caught in the rain and discovered this jacket is excellent at keeping me dry and warm in wind and rain

Great purchase. I'm 5'9" about 145 (skin + bones) and the Medium fits perfectly. It even fit fine for wearing a hooded sweatshirt underneath. A great jacket for probably 3 1/2 seasons if you live in a moderate climate. I imagine I'll be able to wear it until it reaches the 40F degrees.

This is a great jacket! It is perfect for days when it's not cold enough for a big jacket, but protective enough for rain. It fits great and rain just falls right off you! It is stylish too. I'll most likely purchase another in different color.

Jacket rocks! Lightweight/waterproof but cuts the wind. Can wear it on a warm or cool day. Recently brought this to Chicago in summer and did great during a rain storm. Highly recommend this jacket. Nice to bring as well for trips.

Great jacket - I gave this to my husband for our anniversary and I was pleased how well he liked it. He is 6'2" and approx 185 lbs. Tall and slender. He normally wears an XL in jackets and so I ordered the XL and it fit him perfectly. He is going to wear it skiing this weekend and for baseball games this Spring.

A Coat For All Seasons - Overall, a great looking coat for all-season use (barring any sub-30 temps). Very water repellent and warm with a layer or two underneath. I would recommend this coat as one of the best all-season utility coats I've purchased.

Great value - I am a huge North Face fan and expect the quality to be there when I buy any NF products. My new Venture jacket did not disappoint. As usual, the fit and finish are spot on. The jacket is super lightweight making is very packable which is what I was looking for.

GREAT JACKET!!! Jacket is very simple but very effective... wore it during the rain and also as a winter jacket (w/ a hoodie underneath just to make me a little bit warmer). A real windbreaker... material looks very durable, w/c should last me for a while... I might even take this when I go snowboarding... we'll see.
