Purchased these a few years ago via Amazon employee purchase program. Just happened to have wore them to work tonight -- Very comfortable, even working 10/hr shifts standing most of the time on concrete. These boots look great; but I HIGHLY recommend purchasing spray-on suede protection to make them water-resistant and marring.

Great work boot with composite toe for safety. The velcro flap and zipper make it easy to put the boot on. Quality and comfort of this boot is 5 stars! I bought these 7 months ago and have no issues.

My shoe size is a 10.5, however the 11.5 only felt a half size bigger. To accommodate for the extra width of the shoe I wore 2 pair of socks.

I’m a female and I usually wear an 8 but purchased these in a size 7. Love them! I’m also a veteran so I’m used to wearing Bates. Purchased them through Amazon and they did require a little breaking in for my 12 hour shift but they are comfortable and not too heavy. I recommend thick comfortable socks.

These boots are everything I expected and more. I've never had good luck with safety toe boots in the past because my toes always seem to rub against the cap. These boots fit perfectly fine and true to size. I'm on my feet on concrete floors for 10 hour days and my feet feel fine after work. Bates made a great boot in these.

These are so of the most comfortable work boot I have worn in years. The most important feature is that the toe is composite so there are no issues with passing through metal detectors, I am on my feet for well over ten hours a day during work, figure if the men and women in service are comfortable in them 24/7 than they will be just as comfortable wearing them in the civilian world. Just disappoint they are no longer available to us that work in the maintenance side of Amazon Fulfillment.

These fit my son perfectly. He was very excited to get them. He said these boots were the best boots he has ever had. He lives in a snowy area and they keep him warm and dry.

I am very pleased with these boots. Very comfortable, very well constructed, excellent materials, very rugged and very durable. More future purchases planned.

VERY difficult to purchase shoes, especially boots online without trying them on. My Zappos boots are A PERFECT FIT! Couldn't be happier with them. I will order more boots and shoes in the future.

Great fit, so comfortable. I spent 31-years in the Army, 15 of those years was in this style of boot. They are so comfortable, never want to take them off.

Boots are awesome...especially when I put the Red Wing inserts on them. Had to get half a size bigger because the safety toe is a little narrow.

Some of the most comfortable work boots I have worn in a long time. I used to wear Wolverine Durashock work shoes but since they are no longer made in the USA they are not comfortable to wear standing on concrete any more. The Chinese made ones are not as comfortable as when they were domestically made. I work from 10 to 12 hours a day in a warehouse facility and the Bates are some of the most comfortable and durable boots I have ever owned.

My husband wears the GX-6 and treasures these. He has the black color and loves the rounded heel for tactical competition. I would think these would be perfect for color guard as well for the same reason. (note the rolled heel for ease of stepping back.) Bates makes a solid, well thought out performance and tactical maneuvering shoe.

I'm on my feet 12 hours a night on dairy tile and most boot just dont measure up. These boots, so far, have definitely made being on my feet all night a lot better. They are waterproof. I march through water most of the night. They are a snug fit. Not too tight and not too loose. My opinion, just right. Way better than timberland pros and doc Martin's. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with these boots.

Fit perfect. nice light boot, lightest boot i have ever owned. only took a couple of day to brake in unlike most boots. I do a lot of walking at work and love them so far. 5 stars
