I wear a size 5, have kind of a bony small foot and these fit like a glove. I like that they don't need to be adjusted every time you put them on. No break-in time necessary. Ultra soft and comfortable with excellent support. Wanted a shoe for summer walks and hikes with ventilation. They serve that purpose perfectly and the added bonus is that they are really cute on. Didn't expect that! Highly recommend!

Zappos rocks - fast delivery, product as expected, excellent packaging. Really nice shoe - Keen makes a good product. Be careful of your little toe; however, some find the strap can catch or rub the little toe.

I love these! They are a little lighter weight than the tradition Keen sandals. Look great with shorts, skirts and jeans. Cute color too!

The Keen Whisper shoe feels amazing! I have long, narrow, hard to fit, feet and the footbed on these shoes fits my foot very well. I also purchased the Keen Whisper Slide and they are great also. Although, I did have to return them for a larger size. I would definitely purchase Keen shoes again. And the Zappos return policy is the best and very quick! Thanks, Zappos!

This is my second pair of Keen Whispers so I obviously love them. I so a lot of gardening and when they get muddy...in the washer they go and on a line to dry. They look like new!

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable and easy to slip on and off. I use them for walking, biking, traveling, and every day wear. Great if you have small kids.

These shoes fit my hard to fit narrow feet perfectly. I love the light weight and soft straps. Perfect for summer walking.

I highly recommend these shoes. I bought them for a vacation in Costa Rica and I wore them hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, and ziplining and they were great. The only downside is that if you are hiking on gravel, the gravel does get into the shoes. The support is good and they are well made. Because you can cinch them, they fit a narrower foot better than some other outdoor sandal-type shoes.

Very comfortable sandal. I have a tough time finding shoes that work for my bad feet, and these do the trick. I am a teacher, and can wear them all day in comfort. My only complaint is their style, look -- they are not the cutest sandals I have seen, but they are certainly comfy. I really like mine.

I got them out of the box and while I thought I ordered grey, they were green. The picture was misleading. The green is very cute but I don't have much to wear with them. I did walk around the house in them and love the way they feel! So I am returning the nile color and just reordered them in black and brown! Can't wait to get them! I think these are going to be my favorite summer shoes!

I got these in purple ("sweet grape") and love them. What other reviewers say about the odd fit is true, though: this shoe is just a tad too long in the toe and too short in the heel. I ordered my normal size, 7.5, and my heel was literally falling off the back end. So I exchanged for an 8, and although it fits and looks fine, my heels are almost at the edge of the sole, and my toes are nearly a full inch away from the front of the shoe (they do not sit on the designated "toe" area of the sole). No matter, though, because no one will ever notice, I still get the full toe protection, and the fit is super comfortable. I do have to tighten the band around the heel to get a secure fit. I've worn these shoes for extended periods of time on several days and have never gotten any blisters -- they needed absolutely no breaking in. I like how the upper webbing is more feminine-looking than the Keen Newport H2 (which my spouse has).

Very comfortable, feels 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear but I ordered accordingly so they work perfect.

I had arthroscopic surgery in October, and have been wearing knee-friendly shoes ever since. These rock! The color is happy, but most important, my knee is happy when I wear these. No pain at end of the day, great support, truly an orthopedic effect without looking or feeling like an orthopedic shoe. I love these! So comfortable, from the get-go. Sizing was true. Excellent!

Very comfortable and nice looking. Kind of snug if you have a wider foot. I did feel like my heel was being pushed out the back (as other reviewers noted) but it feels fine now that I've worn them for a while.

Love this shoe...comfy fit, good cushioned sole, roomy toe box. I deal with a narrow heel and bunions, I like the adjustability of the straps which accommodates both. Will be a great summer sight-seeing travel shoe. The Brindle color is a good neutral...goes with a lot.

The Keen Whisper is a great shoe for walking and hiking. It is lightweight, nice-looking, and keeps your feet cool. The sole has grippy rubber that helps you to keep your footing on slick surfaces. I get a lot of compliments when I wear them. I will definitely buy another pair.

I loved the way these shoes looked and fit but returned them because I didn't realize "nile / neutral grey" meant a pale mint green and grey. It looked like a beige or off white in my computer.

Comfortable and cute (less "clunky" than other Keens), but running short. I have one foot sized 10 and the other sized 10.5. Ordered size 10.5 and both heels are hanging off the back. Am returning for a size 11.

I love, love these sandals! I have a foot injury so I need great support and some give in the soles of my shoes which these offer. I also like that I can take a walk in these and feel really stable. So much to love about these great sandals!

Great shoes and unbelievably comfortable. I chose the purple and love the color. I have them on right now with shorts. I also plan to wear them when we kayak, etc. They arrived the next day after I ordered them!

Love these shoes. These are my second pair of Keens - my others are hiking shoes. The Whispers don't rub anywhere, and fit snugly but not tight. The stretchy adjustment strap keeps them just right for my foot. I especially like the heel strap, as it's nicely padded and does not rub at all. My feet are narrow-ish, but I wear regular width. Tried on the Whisper and the Newport, and although both were comfy, the Whispers were lighter and narrower, and not quite so clunky looking, and fit me a little better. Wore the Whispers for a couple of long days with no break-in period, and they felt good all day. They are going to be my go-to casual summer shoe.

So far, I am very happy with these sandals. They fit well in length and width (I do have a slightly wide foot), don't rub anywhere, are lightweight and easy to wear all day with great comfort.

I had two spinal surgeries last year (a discectomy and then a spinal fusion) which left me unable to wear 90% of the shoes I already owned. I am in physical therapy and I needed a shoe I could wear all the time that could also get wet for when I went to the pool for water exercises. I love these shoes. The support is great and they are really comfortable. I am now walking 2 miles a day as part of my therapy plan. I walked 2 miles in these shoes right out of the box with no problem at all. They give me the support I need to help with my balance because of my back issues. They do seem to run on the more narrow side. I have a wide foot and I have these at the loosest setting of the strap pull. The toe box is very roomy. The heel strap is really comfy and while it does move up and down a little bit, it never rubs my heel badly or gives me any irritation or blisters. Overall the shoe is incredibly comfortable. Since I can't walk barefoot due to my back problems, I wear these all day even around the house and they're great. The only complaint I have is they make my feet smell awful. I've never had a problem with stinky feet with my other shoes but when I take these off my feet and the shoes both smell really terrible. It says they have anti-odor insoles but they really stink. I have been putting a drop of peppermint oil in them at night and it seems to help. They don't smell bad when I'm wearing them but when I take them off, watch out! Other than that they are great shoes.

These Keens are the perfect blend of sneaker and sandal - comfy, lightweight, breathable and water resistant.
