I bought these shoes to do water sports in Florida, I needed them to stay on securely and to be light weight and dry quickly. These fill the requirements on all levels.

I love my Keens Whisper. Comfortable beyond words. Zappos customer service is top notch. My Keens arrived the next day, thoroughly impressed.

I've had a hard time finding tennis shoes that are comfortable for all day walking, and my feet get hot. I spied these on a gal at Disneyland and was envious. Ordered them first thing when I returned home, ordering a half size up from my usual, on the advice of other reviewers. Perfect fit! Oh, how I wish I'd had them on that trip. I know these types of shoes aren't intended to be "cute", but as far as outdoor sandals go, I'd say these are as close as one can get, and still be super comfortable and durable--I can walk for hours in them! I have very narrow feet, and the bungees snug them up, the material on the inside is soft, the footbed provides excellent cushion and support, and the soles are non-slip. I plan to order another pair as a back-up for when I wear these out, I love them that much. Worth every penny!

These shoes were a nice alternative to the traditional closed toed keen style. My big toes tend to stick up and they get compressed in the other keen sandals. These shoes have protection over the big toe but it is not too restricting. It also doesn't look as clunky is the regular keen sandals. The other thing I liked about the sandal was the sole. It was firm but provided enough cushion for comfort.

I just recently bought my second pair of Keen Whisper in brown. In the 2 and 1/2 years I had the first pair I wore them EVERYWHERE! They fit perfectly, are comfortable, and I walk miles in them without aching feet or body. I love mine and have them in many colors.

Love these shoes. My second pair. The color is a bit more orange than expected but the over fit is perfect.

AWESOME. I have short, very wide feet and these fit great. The straps across the toes rub a little but get better with each use. Got a pair for my husband and he is sold on Keen's. True to size, wide, comfortable foot bed, straps are soft and pliable. I would highly recommend these shoes.

I love the Keen Whisper shoes. There was no break-in time - they fit perfectly and were comfortable from the first time I wore them.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had! They are so comfortable, I don't want to take them off. The fit is true to size with no breaking in period.

Got this shoe for the grandparents. That really enjoyed walking around Disney with them. I see them using them a lot post-Disney as well. My kids also have been wearing Keens for years now.

More open and strappy than some of the Keens - a change. I will wear these to teach high school, as well as to and from the swimming pool. These were my "go to" shoes on my two week cruise to Alaska!

My very hip granddaughter recommended these Keens to me. I love them! It is rare to put on a pair of shoes out of the box and wear them all day, but that's what I did with these. Many people ask me about them and I've become a walking advertisement for Keens, both for their comfort and versatility.

I have worn another style of Keens for more than a year, but I must have chosen the wrong style this time. My pinkie sticks out and hurts. I will still give 5 stars - they are comfortable, but they just don't fit my weird foot just as I need them to.

Comfy, durable shoes. I didn't have any problems with them. I used them for a 260 mile bike ride and they've lasted every mile and then some. No rubbing or any problems like that.

I got these shoes right before a vacation. I spent hours walking around Seattle in them. Then I went on several long hikes over rocky terrain in them. They were great in both instances--rugged, but still look good. So comfortable. Best sandals ever--I love them!

Very comfortable and good for long walks. I got my usual size 8 and they fit well. My feet are wide and usually the 8 is too big but I need the width. These run more narrow than other Keens but are still wide enough for me. Love that they are washable. No breaking period for me and felt comfy from the start.

Very comfortable shoe. I was looking for something to replace my old Tevas. Unfortunately, after trying many of the new teva styles (they don't make the sane version I had before), I still couldn't find one that was lightweight but still comfortable with enough support. I tried the Keen whisper just to see if I might like it; it was so comfortable that I instantly decided to keep them. I haven't been disappointed. They are perfect. I've received lots of compliments on the pretty color too. I am usually an 8.5 but definitely needed a 9 in the keen which is apparently normal for keens. Definitely order up a half or full size!

I purchased this for my trip to Hawaii and future wear for the summer here in Seattle. (I transferred from FL and noticed many wear them here.) When I was walking on the beach in Hawaii, the sand would not easily slip from the side of my sandal and yet great in the water when getting on and off paddle boarding. I wore them on long walks while I was touring around in HI and I was comfortable in them all day. The material is soft where it touches the foot. The pull cord secures or tightens well around the foot and I like the protective cover for the toes. My size is a true 5 1/2 B and it fits me well. I am happy with my purchase and thanks Zappos for great customer service!

I ordered a pair of these in 2013 and love them - wore down the sole in a year. Just ordered an identical pair only to find it fits half a size smaller, and my heel is hanging over the end. Either Keen has a new manufacturer or their quality control has gone downhill, as these are awesome boat shoes.

These are wide enough for my feet. The are deep enough for my giant big toes. They are protective of my toes (unlike many sandals). They are cool and ventilated. They have turned up toes to help avoid tripping. I am very pleased.

I love these shoes...they've been my "go to" for this summer. They fit wonderfully from the beginning, once I got the right size. I had to send them back and get a half size larger than my normal.

These shoes are exactly what I expected and needed. They are great shoes to walk in all day long, whether on the beach or in town. I love Zappos!

Soft and flexible upper - enough to be very comfortable; feels a bit smaller than stated size but still with enough room to get a lightweight athletic sock on (I know, don't say it, but very comfortable on hot dry hikes!); as for style, well, I went hiking and loved them, ran errands and my feet are happy, played with the kids - that is my style! Buy them!

I bought a black and brown pair of these shoes. I love the way they fit and feel on my feet..they have an excellent arch support. Great for hiking or shopping...no more backaches! I also bought my mother a pair and she wears them all the time. From past experience with Keen, I bought a half size larger.

Keen sandals rock! When my local stores did not have my size or color I wanted, I turned to Zappos, and within three days I was happily parading about town in my new sandals. Thanks for the quick sent! Willy Black
